Attachment DeletedI think from a production aspect, RedOne is on the cutting edge more than Max Martin these days but for the songwriting this song's melody would have been 10 times catchier if it was penned by Max Martin. The hook could be stronger, I knew that would be the songs setback.

Well this still did pretty well, even though I expected and wanted it to peak higher (on both CHR and the Hot 100). Hope that if this is truly finished now that they get a new single out there pretty soon and the album can still come out as planned as I'm really looking forward to it.

It's looking that way. Its been dropping slowly for a week or so now, a little more every day. It pretty much did what all of 1D's last few singles have done, make it just into the top 20 before the bottom drops out. I guess teen Pop can only go so far on radio these days. That really sucks. I would argue heart attack and come and get it were teen pop, those girls have huge teen bases, and those songs did very well

Lyrically, both songs are not teen pop. Although, if we're getting technical, most pop is "teen" pop since the market caters predominantly to that age group. Really, the term doesn't mean s**t.
PS, this is actually pretty cute. Set this kid up with Max Martin, pronto.

i cant believe this song isn't bigger than it is I find it surprising that CHR was far more kind to it than sales were. Obviously he's not the "next Bieber." Bieber slayed in sales from the start, no radio support needed.

This song sounds very dated...the only surprise is that it peaked as high as it did. My guess that was due to the clear channel promo machine in the beginning...without that it most likely would not even chart.
