I expect you're looking into her words too closely. That could mean one of the following: (1) They'll slip the track onto the end of the COTU tracklisting on iTunes and call it a day (2) A repressing like M5 did with MLJ, but not really a big re-release (3) A full on re-release with multiple new songs and promo and whatnot (4) A re-release of an album other than COTU, eg a 10th anniversary edition of IE or something (5) By 'record' she means 'era', as in, she wants to add HH onto her 2012-2013 era before starting to work on her next album And so on.

Delta's performance is finally on YouTube, and in HD! I presume this isn't blocked internationally :)

Just as I suspected, it took a little time, but "Heart Hypnotic" finally caught, and it's soooo amazing now!

I have never heard Delta's work before but this is pretty good. Looks like I'll have to check her out. :) Please! I beg of you! She's an incredible talent and her work is amazing! You'll love her!!! :) Wow Zebra, better late than never! I highly suggest her albums Innocent Eyes and Delta to start off with. If you don't fall in love immediately than something is wrong!

I highly suggest her albums Innocent Eyes and Delta to start off with. And Mistaken Identity and Child of the Universe. And all the b-sides and non-album-singles. And anything else not contained by all that.

Brand new album "start of next year." "I'm going to work on the album pretty quickly. I'm just going to finish it up, write it."

Brand new album "start of next year 2017." "I'm going to work on the album pretty quickly quicker than my last one. I'm just going to finish it up, write it. And go missing." I do hope so, though, of course! :) I do find it interesting that "Heart Hypnotic"'s release was a last minute decision. Which is pretty much the only thing I got out of those interviews.

And anything else not contained by all that.Ha! I'll admit that some of her b-sides are pretty epic. I love "Take Me Home" and "Fortune and Love." I listen to them just as much as many of her album cuts. I anticipatingly await the next era.

"Take Me Home", "The Riddle" and "How A Dream Looks" are, in my opinion, her trio of perfection amongst all her b-sides. I love the experimentation in "Take Me Home" and "How A Dream Looks"; both sound so different and still fresh. (And coincidentally they're like her only 2 tracks that could be interpreted as being sexual, lol.) "The Riddle" is just raw and feisty and just awesome. I think they were all well placed as b-sides, but it's still unfortunate that they were overlooked. "Take Me Home" could have made a good single with a radio remix, I think.
Her b-side catalogue is just perfect overall. Especially the ones from the Mistaken Identity era, those were all so well done for being just b-sides. And perfectly placed on the four singles, I think. It's amazing that she was able to pump out an album of 15 tracks + 8 b-sides in such a short space of time, without compromising quality at all. Most of those songs were probably written post-Innocent Eyes, right? That's like 20 great songs in a year and a half. It really puts Child of the Universe and her upcoming 2019 album to shame. I mean, Child of the Universe is great and all but 17 songs + 4 b-sides from 5 years of working on it? Surely she'd have more to say. But back to b-sides, the Child of the Universe era was pretty good for them too; I prefer "Uncovered", "Waiting For Forever" and "Rise" to at least half of the songs on the main album. She really should just put out a b-side compilation.
... so as always, all I'm really rambling on about is that everything she does is perfect.

WHY, DELT, WHY. Have you shot the video? "No, no, not at all. We kind of just figured, then, I guess we'll just leave the performance as the video."

Not a huge fan of this song, but it is still great to have new music from her.
Hopefully we really get a new single/album in early 2014.

Okay, so I listened to her entire discography with each album separate (I've listened to it all before, but it was more as a mash up of all her songs combined; I actually listened to each album in full this time), and I have to say that I still enjoy Child of the Universe the most. In my mind: COTU > Delta > Mistaken Identity > innocent eyes I still love "I Don't Care," though. And her cover of "Black Velvet"...

I hope your shit torrent had all the b-sides too! Hint: it doesn't. /pressed
