Okay, so I listened to her entire discography with each album separate (I've listened to it all before, but it was more as a mash up of all her songs combined; I actually listened to each album in full this time), and I have to say that I still enjoy Child of the Universe the most. In my mind: COTU > Delta > Mistaken Identity > innocent eyes Innocent Eyes is my favourite, followed by Delta, Mistaken Identity, and lastly Child of the Universe. Basically the opposite, lol. I hope your s**t torrent had all the b-sides too! Hint: it doesn't. /pressed Torrent? I don't know what you're talking about. ;) I have 25 b-sides, though. There are couple that were just songs not on any albums, though (Together We Are One, I Don't Care)

Ooohhhh "I Don't Care" talk! Somebody buy me this, please and thanks! :) A few people on Delta Daily are pooling together to buy that for them, iirc. I wish I had $1000+ to spend on that! It looks so good. :'(

"Heart Hypnotic" enters the Australian airplay chart at #18! That's awesome since "Dancing" and "Wish You Were Here" peaked at like #31 and #34 iirc (cbb checking).

Delta Goodrem is finally ready to let her hair down Goodrem is focusing her sights on the US market again, with plans to release another album next year. It's not the first time she’s had a crack at the charts there. In fact, she's been trying for many years, and has had notable pockets of success as a live performer.
"I feel like I believe in the right timing of things and I've still got a lot of support there," she says. "The right song at the right moment is always key. Yet I've been having these wonderful experiences, like singing with Michael Bolton this year on Ellen [The Ellen DeGeneres Show]." Goodrem confirms she will be writing an album specifically for a US release.
"Next year's going to be a busy year," she says. "It goes in waves and this is an exciting wave again. I've learnt in my career that it's all different, you just go with the moments ... What's been nice is I feel people are going back to the music; I feel that in my heart. It's been nice to hear people talk about the music [again] – and that's all I ever got into it for." Delta Goodrem's single "Heart Hypnotic" is out now through Sony Music. It will be added as a bonus track to her latest album, Child of the Universe.

@deltagoodrem: Ten Years Ago Today July the 8th 2003 my life was turned upside down... I was petrified & shook uncontrollably for the next 48 hours after hearing the words... "You have Cancer" I am so thankful to be here today.. To hopefully stand as a symbol of HOPE and strength for those in the midst of there battle to visualize getting better and to know that they are not alone..! With Love and Light, Delta xx

Congrats to the amazing @deltagoodrem for ‘Heart Hypnotic’ going Gold! smarturl.it/HeartHypnotic :) It's unfortunate that it had a crappy run and was basically forgotten about within 2 weeks, but going Gold is something! Barely, but still.

The problem was it was too married to the show. Ricky's single held up a little better but really, for Delta, Ricky AND Karise, it seemed like they were putting out singles just to have an excuse to perform on The Voice, and with the show over, that was it. There were no album releases that tied into the singles so the releases were very throwaway.

I just learnt from Delta Daily that the US release of "Heart Hypnotic" is actually a new version with the chorus repeated at the end! I had to hear it so I bought it I don't think it's well executed; it's very jarring and I wouldn't be surprised if it was just copy-pasted by someone with no experience producing. But in the very slim chance that they'll try promoting the song, I guess the extra chorus on the end might be helpful. I still don't think they will so I'm very surprised that they bothered making a new version for the US, cheaply cut or not ... wonder if it means anything? The colours on the artwork on the US release are also slightly modified (the blue in whatever she's wearing is more intense) - compare AU and US. Not that anyone would care. Uploading the new version for anyone who wants to hear; shouldn't be long :)

Not only that but they chopped out a segment from the slowed down section (I think) so I don't think that even flows well (and that's a bit they really didn't need to mess with). Bad editing...

What are you up to at the moment? I just [had] a bit of time off before I start making a new album. I'm based in LA – my cats are there, my whole world is sort of there. But in fairness, I tend to live between there and Australia, and it's been like kind of half and half for quite a few years. Will you return as a coach on The Voice again next year? I have no idea. I mean I'm honoured to be part of the show, but we haven't had a chance to think about next year yet.

IE repackage? "Delta and Ryan are not dating, they did spend time in Mexico recently for a vacation with a group of friends," insists Goodrem's Sydney rep Jennifer Fontaine, of Private Idaho.
Goodrem is back in town now for the recording of a 10-year anniversary package of album Innocent Eyes that is set to be released shortly. However she is soon to return to the US to continue working on new music.

If you're crediting Christina Aguilera you should also credit Big Sean and Lady Saw.

I would love a repackage with b-sides and unreleased demos or something. Sorry. Your first album, Innocent Eyes, is being repackaged as an acoustic version and hits shelves next month—what was the catalyst for reworking it? "It's 10 years since its original release and it's just been named the best-charting album by an Australian in 30 years. It was seven-and-half months at number one—and that was really special. So basically it's in celebration of ARIA releasing these statistics. It was an incredible moment and I'm extremely proud."

Aww :( I'm moderately interested to hear what it's like but that's around where my interest ends; I honestly don't see much point in doing an acoustic version of an album that's already pretty acoustic. even if her voice has changed a lot since.

I am curious to hear her acoustic take on Butterfly. The version i've heard her do from her tours was lovely.
