Folks, I'm seeing a trend of people quoting stories here without posting links back to the original site. Please make sure that if you are quoting anything or posting a factual claim from an outside source that you link back to the original site so that we know exactly where it is coming from (and can make our own assessments as to the reliability of the site). And speaking of reliability, I'd like to encourage posters here to bypass sites like examiner.com and gather.com in favor of the original sources, since those sites are generally unvetted news aggregators, not generators of credible original content. Thanks in advance.

Luke Bryan added a 2nd show in Nashville Bridgestone Arena - curiously with Dierks Bentley/Cole Swindell as opening acts! Possible preview of the 2014 Crash My Party STADIUM tour? Hmm... Ill be very interested to see Luke's touring plans in 2014. I can see them imitating Aldean again and just hitting a few big stadiums to test the waters. I think Aldean and Luke are going to go on a Chesneyish full stadium tour together in the next couple of years but I imagine Luke wants to do another headlining tour himself, a bit bigger, before doing that.

^That would make sense, seeing that Kenny Chesney is taking next year off as far as touring is concerned. Country will be fine with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan packing them in.

Looking forward to this! Luke Bryan added a 2nd show in Nashville Bridgestone Arena - curiously with Dierks Bentley/Cole Swindell as opening acts! Possible preview of the 2014 Crash My Party STADIUM tour? Hmm... Dierks is set to headline again this fall into next year in support of Riser. It's certainly possible he might do some dates with Luke but I'd be surprised (and, frankly, annoyed) if he joins a full Luke tour. I noticed that the last date of the Dierks/Miranda tour (October 19) has been postponed ( link) citing "scheduling conflicts" and the writer says that he heard the ticket sales were soft, but I'm thinking it could very well be a scheduling conflict. That weekend is the rumored wedding weekend of Kelly Clarkson and with how involved Blake's supposed to be in it, it might not be out of the question that Miranda might be too. Anyway, what I was going to ask is if there's been any talk of after this leg is over if they're going to continue on for any more dates or is he going to be going out on his own? I would assume that there would be a few more at least with the above date listed as "postponed" on Dierks site and completely disappeared off of Miranda's. Just kidding, yesterday they posted that it's cancelled in the title, but then in the body of it it says that it's postponed and that they're trying to find another date to play it.

Does anyone here have the Rodney Atkins album from 1997? It may have just been an advance album but I'd like to know the tracklist of it if someone has it

Y'all are not gonna believe this, but one of my radio stations played FGL's "It'z Just What We Do" as part of some kind of party mix, I guess, on my way home from work yesterday. Man, talk about a raunchy Nickelback song on steroids and perhaps PCP.

Here's "In a Heartbeat" at least: Somewhere, I had a magazine from 1997 with articles about some then-new artists, and it showed Rodney dressed as a cowboy and sporting a mustache. Very jarring. Wish I could find that mag again.

^ I wonder if that's the same "I Thought There Was Time" on Blake Shelton's first album. I know Rodney wrote some songs with Brian Gowan of Blake & Brian, who almost hit Top 40 with a great song called "Another Perfect Day", also on Curb, and some of the Gowan songs ended up on Honesty. I was also surprised to see Rodney's name on "Don't Think I Won't" on Mark Wills' Wish You Were Here.
By the by, why has he disowned Honesty? He never sings it in concert anymore.

^ I wondered that thought to upon seeing the track list, its very possible it is the same song. It sounds like it would've been a decent album, I've heard " in a heartbeat" and " God only knows" and there both great songs. I've seen a copy of the advance a few years back but i wasn't able to purchase it and i couldn't remember the tracks. Thanks for the postings!

Just kidding, yesterday they posted that it's cancelled in the title, but then in the body of it it says that it's postponed and that they're trying to find another date to play it. It would speak pretty poorly of Miranda and Dierks' consideration for their fans if they postponed a concert for which tickets went on sale in mid-June for the sake of a wedding that will allegedly take place the following day, especially one whose save-the-date apparently went out before late May. Miranda more than Dierks, since Dierks turned around and signed up for the Luke Bryan show in Nashville on the same day, showing his willingness to play a concert on that date. I don't think the Luke show is the scheduling conflict, and hope that in fact, slow ticket sales were the reason for the Salt Lake City postponement/cancellation rather than something so foreseeable as a conflict with wedding events.

^^ From what I've heard regarding the October 19th date, sales were indeed soft for the Salt Lake show which prompted the postponement/cancellation. Dierks' wife is expecting their 3rd child around then as well, so him filling in for FGL at the Luke show at home in Nashville makes sense logistically as well. (Let me be clear that the pending arrival of Baby Boy Bentley was not a catalyst for the Salt Lake show's demise... merely pointing out a willingness to be close to home close to the due date.)

^ i find all of my rare and advance stuff on ebay. It's really just luck to run up on them most of the time. Yeah 99% of the advance albums I own are from ebay, there's one or two I found floating around in used stores but those are really rare outside of Nashville. I'm mad that I missed the oppertunity to by Jennifer Hanson's 2nd album by about 30 seconds as it was listed I clicked on it to check it out and by the time I went to purchase it, it was gone. :( I'm still hunting down Rodney's album and hoping to one day see Jessica Andrews 4th album on there. And Terri Clarks 'My Next Life'. Those are the 3 I'm after the most but there's tons of others I want (David Nail, Katrina Elam, Brett Eldredge, etc..)

^ I actually have David Nail's unreleased Mercury album somewhere around here.
One that I'm looking for is River Road's second album. I found the case at a flea market once, but unfortunately, it was empty.
Wasn't Jennifer Hanson's second album released digitally?

But every now and then there are some copies floating there, you just need to be ready for a catfight lol

I was looking on mediabase via all access just now and it lists a song by Sara Evans under "taking off". It's call Slow Me Down. It was played by a station in Cincinatti several times. Anyone know anything about this? ETA: Seems that is her new single according this this article/interview. "Evans will soon release new single Slow Me Down from her seventh album that features four songs she penned with long time collaborators Marcus Hummon, Leslie Satcher, Hilary Lindsey and new collaborator Shane Stevens. She began working on it in November last year and is due for release late this year. "I also wrote a lot this time with a guy named Shane Stevens," Evans said. "Slow Me Down is really phenomenal. I didn't write it. Marv Green did. I've probably listened to it a hundred times - every single time it gives me chills. We have been performing it in concert. I'm almost finished with the new album out late fall or early winter in the U.S. I'm very excited about this album. I was super lucky to find some great songs. I've also written some of the songs. Slow Me Down is one of the songs that no-one denies. There's not one person who hasn't flipped out over it. It's a song about a girl trying to get her man's attention. She's sort of threatening to leave. I don't want to give the hook away. The first time you hear it the hook line really gets you. It's not a ballad, more a tempo song." Evans also wrote again with Leslie Satcher who hails from Paris, Texas, and released an acclaimed but oft forgotten 2000 album Love Letters From Old Mexico. www.nucountry.com.au/articles/diary/august2013/060813_saraevans.htm

I don't know, with carriekins pointing out that Dierks' wife is expecting right around that time and tickets were actually soft, there's motivation there to postpone the date until a later time. With that information plus Dierks getting on the Luke date, it sounds to me that there are a lot of factors in play here that made them come to this decision a little easier, not solely resting on Miranda's shoulders. As a fan of Miranda's, I'm more annoyed with the fact that nearly nothing has been said about the Pistol Annies and their cancellation of dates and really everything, than about the postponement of one straggling date at the end of a long outing.

I think you sent me "Breathless" a long time ago. Very energetic song, that one. I loved "Nickajack" back in 1997, too. Shame those guys never caught on. Another one I'd like to find is Ray Vega's BNA album. I actually found a Maxwell House/RCA sampler that has "Remember When" on it, but Amazon seems to only have the single.
