Her management flopped with continuing some radio promotion.

For me her debut album was pretty meh. It was disappointing overall. The reason why I still stan for her is due to her talents that werent all on display in the past era. Voice is great and her live performances are some of the best in the game today lbr. She can and has made people notice and for that the era remains a positive. Unbreakable Smile" could have been shortened to a EP tbh way too much filler. I wish she didn't waste her vocals waxing over basic entry level material. Also Max Martin and some of these no name producers need to be shown the curb. Her sophomore album she really needs to broaden her horizons and do what comes natural to her. Don't let them box you into this small pop box. I want her to do more acoustic, jazzy, soul and r&b or even ride a trap beat and elevate it with her voice. I think also while i appreciate her being a songwriter its also part of what held her back on the debut. Either keep working on it or allow more people to help ya. Love- Should've Been Us Like- Unbreakable Smile, Hollow (not even on the original debut) , Nobody Love, Falling Slow, Funny Meh or Don't Like- Expensive, First Heartbreak, I Was Made For Loving You, City Dove, Talk, Art Of Letting Go, California Lovers, Anyway
lol as you can tell most of the album is on my filler list. Good news is very few of those would I say i hate, just dont really feel like to listening to again. IMO her best song remains and might just remain that way for a long ass time the ultra uber and awesome

Yeah her last album was mostly fluffy pop filler with a few gems thrown in.
Unbreakable Smile Should've Been Us Talk
Were the standouts.

She absolutely demolished her cover of Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing" from the "Sing!" soundtrack that's out on December 9th. These might be her best recorded vocals to date. 1:42-2:06 & pretty much the entire last minute. I need more of this slayage on the next record! And it looks like we'll also be getting a studio version of "Hallelujah" from the soundtrack as well! Here she is promoting it in Australia (quality isn't the greatest, but still watchable):

She killed that performance of "O Holy Night" on NBC's Christmas at the Rockefeller special tonight!

She'll be on Late Night with Seth Myers tonight. Singing one of the tracks from "Sing!" (I'm guessing it'll be "Hallelujah" again, but I'd love to see her do "Don't You Worry Bout A Thing" to switch it up a bit). http://instagram.com/p/BONdSplgghr

When I hear people sing on record like she does, it makes me so happy to know she's capable of sounding like that live in front of an audience and that it's not computer generated.
This girl has SO much freaking talent. I want her to be a huge star because she has the talent to back it up.

I actually think her voice is much better live, which IMO is something she needs to work on bc her studio recordings just haven't done much for me. I agree that she is extremely talented, but she's gotta figure out how to best represent what she's capable of on record.
