How long has Broken Bow had her on the roster? Hasn't she been signed for a while?

Love the guitar music and the vocal arrangements- she's a really good singer.

I was also going to update the first post but now you saved me some time. I have been wondering who the writers are? I guess maybe I'll look that up later.

Songwriters are Lindsay Ell, David Fanning, and Vicki McGehee. Not surprised Vicki is one of the writers. Sure sounds like something she would have a hand in writing. Which for the most part is a good thing ("Wildflower" being one I hate of hers). Anyway I just heard this today for the first time, and I actually like this a lot. I'm more of a lyric person, but this melody and guitar work is very enjoyable to me. I agree with countryrocks, she's a very talented vocalist and a wicked guitar player. Hope Stoney Creek can push this hard.

She is such a fantastic guitarist. It's very cool to see a female artist that takes such pride with her guitar playing. I hope that she can break through with this song. I like the fact they released this ahead of the shutdown before Christmas, so they could get maybe beat some others to the punch when it comes to stations adding songs from the newer artists, from then till now.
That guitar riff during the song has to be one of the catchiest, most pleasant things to hear come through my speakers in a while.

I really like this song! Her voice really reminds me a lot of Carolyn Dawn Johnson's.

This song is awful. There's like no modulation at all throughout the whole song; it just kinda stays in one spot and goes nowhere. And nothing about it stands out in a good way to me. The lyrics are meh, the production is a wall of generic, loud rock music (this is the biggest detractor for me on this tune), and her vocals are nothing to write home about. I'm always rooting for more females to break through at radio, but I'd be disappointed if this song was one of the few to do it.

Stoney Creek has pulled the plug on this. They've been featuring this one along with all their other current singles (Thompson Square's EISBTA, Randy Houser's GK, and Parmalee's CYE) in the Aircheck ads every day but tonight they took Lindsay's song off and are just featuring the other 3.
If that isn't proof enough, the song plummeted 500k and more than 100 spins on Billboard this past week. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one fall out of the top 60 on next week's chart.

Yeah, this weeks update was a pretty big blow as it lost a significant amount of spins. I was a pretty big fan of this song due to the awesome guitar hook and easy going catchy lyrics. Perhaps the releasing of this song right before the start of the new year didn't help her either. It looks like Stoney Creek tried to beat most other singles to the punch and release this before the influx of new songs but it just may have gotten lost in the shuffle after Christmas anyway. I know they've had her in the works for quite a while and they really didn't want to put off her debut till March or April, but maybe that timing would have had a better outcome. Hindsight's 20/20 though so...

If they did pull this I wonder why? Did they find a song that's an undeniable hit? Cause this one was actually not doing all that bad for a debut from a female artist. It was only 9 weeks old and already top45, I could've seen this going top 30 if they kept it alive so why are they pulling it?

Her voice really reminds me a lot of Carolyn Dawn Johnson's. Her voice also reminds me a LOT of Amy Dalley. And now that you mention Carolyn Dawn Johnson, I can hear that too!
