I know SOME posters here must be FUMING. SS is the greatest gainer in airplay and is climbing yet again on Itunes.

Hope this can move up to #2 this week on the Hot 100. There's no chance of that happening. Timber, The Monster, and Counting Stars will all be ahead of this in all three components of the Hot 100. In the future, it's highly probable, but it's definitely not happening this week.

A Grammy performance should send this straight to #1 on billboard. By then airplay will be passed 100 million AI, streaming will be heavy, and a performance will boost sales.

It's my understanding that only nominated artists can perform at the Grammys, and even then they're only allowed to perform works they're nominated for (correct me if I'm wrong, I honestly don't remember where I heard that), in which case this meets neither requirement so umm... yeah, not happening.

Just got a chance to buy this last week. It's a really pretty song, and I like the softer production.
Christina likes to go for the glory notes, but she has an absolutely gorgeous tone in softer ballads. I think this was a really good fit for her, and it's nice to see that she's proving she can connect with softer material, and sing it beautifully. She's definitely gotten a reputation as being a "screamer" over the years, so I'm glad she dialed it down.

I love this. And I can totally relate. I've just given up on a guy who wouldn't say something at all...
I want Xtina to put out an album with songs like this and We Remain. Heaven!

See Save me from myself etc. I hope they release a Christina only version at some point. I would love to hear her vulnerable vocals front and.center

"Timber", "The Monster", and "Counting Stars" will probably have the top 3 to themselves for at least two more weeks. "Say Something" should stay in the top 5, and when "The Monster" falls, it or "Dark Horse" will be the next song to make it into the top 3. And if "Dark Horse" makes it in, "Counting Stars" could fall out of the top 3 about a week later and allow "Say Something".

I don't think so. I believe last year JT performed "Suit & Tie", in 2012, Katy performed "Part Of Me", and in 2011, Gaga performed "Born This Way", all right around their premieres, so I don't think that's a rule. I'm not an expert on this though so

Yeah - not positive about the others, but Katy definitely premiered "Part Of Me" at the 2012 GRAMMYs, right before its digital release.

Hot 100 A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera's "Say Something" (4-5). Still, the title lifts 16-14 on Radio Songs (54 million, up 8%) and gains by 49% to 355,000 downloads, despite falling 1-4 on Digital Songs. On Streaming Songs, "Something" slides 6-11 (3.6 million, down 22%).

Now that Xtina is making a comeback, hopefully this opens the door for her contemporaries as well. I wouldn't mind hearing Jessica Simpson or Mandy Moore on the radio again.
