Thanks! I didn't realize there wasn't a thread for their excellent "Carry the Fire" album! Pretty excited for this, as I've been listening to their debut non-stop for the past month. I wish I could've caught them on tour!

Thanks! I didn't realize there wasn't a thread for their excellent "Carry the Fire" album! Pretty excited for this, as I've been listening to their debut non-stop for the past month. I wish I could've caught them on tour! They played a really small show here at MSU in April. Sooo good.

Nothing new over here yet except for a few confirmed tracks, thanks to this tweet from Cities97 DJ Paul Fletcher:
Confirmed tracks: "Scared" "Outlaws" "Bethlehem Steel" "My Whole Life Long" "Chasing Twisters" "Run" "I Will Never Die" "The Dream" (the one in the teaser video) "After It All"
The three from the Chasing Twisters EP have apparently been reworked.

oh look "Scared" and the three EP tracks are out next week; "Cold Day In Heaven" on the 24th. via (That also shows that the Chasing Twisters EP will be pulled, with three tracks on After It All and the other two, "If I Loved You" featuring Lindsey Buckingham and the alternate version of "Dance In The Graveyards," released as a two-track single; plus a standalone single release of "Bottom Of The River," which makes me wonder if they'll pull Carry The Fire in the UK.)

I prefer the original tracks overdid the new reworked ones. I think they really lost the energy that Run and Twisters used to have...
Scared is so much fun, I really love it. Excited to finally get a studio version of Cold Day In HeAven--I've known about this song for a year. And also Bethlehem Steel.
Either of you two live in the UK and would be able to send me Any Better Than This when it is out? :/

it looks like the track "Any Better Than This" that we had previously thought would be an UK exclusive release is no longer being released, as it no longer appears on Amazon UK :/
why would they pull it? i'm also disappointed that "Anthem" and "The Dream" are just clips and not full songs.

love it. when you'd previously posted about the amazon exclusive, "Any Better Than This," you saw that track title on amazon uk? and now it's not there? just double checking Right - I don't see it anywhere except for this review, in which she mentions "My Whole Life Long" but doesn't have it in the tracklist, but includes "Any Better Than This," so I wonder if it was cut from the tracklist but sent to reviewers or something. Maybe it'll be a b-side down the road. (ETA: Searching on last.fm reveals someone who listened to the album with "Dead End Road (bonus)" as track 14 and "Any Better Than This (bonus)" as track 15, which would support that theory.) lol welp I just realized the UK doesn't get "Dead End Road," which is my early favorite from the album. Glad I get it, at least! haha ETA: Interview with FBi's covers program Tune Up in Sydney, Australia - interview starts around 28:30 and includes covers of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" and Sia's "Chandelier." link

Almost done listening to the whole album. I love it. Not as instant as their debut, but I love the growth and direction they went with this.

Just got tickets to see them at the beginning of May on a whim. How are their live shows?

Just got tickets to see them at the beginning of May on a whim. How re there live shows? Considering I've been to I think six concerts in my life, I'm probably not the best person to answer this, but since they're one of the six (they performed a free show at my college in 2013): I thought they were great! Good energy, great harmonies, and heavy percussion (including weird things like garbage cans and chains, haha) which was kind of fun.

Just got tickets to see them at the beginning of May on a whim. How are their live shows? I finally got to see them live 1-2 years ago and they're pretty incredible live. Excellent vocals and harmonies, plus band on point. Also, if it's a smaller venue, I think they may do a treat at the end of it.
