How I miss this girl's music!!! :'( There were some rumors that she will work with Zedd for her new album, but that's it, only rumors; I hope it's true 'cause I love Zedd's music

I can see her doing really well with Zed and Calvin Harris. Hopefully some big name producers step up and recognize her talent.

Will they actually end up on the album, though? She's still with Dr. Luke's label, right?

She needs a commercially successful album right now. Rebranding herself as a serious artist is long overdue too, and I'm glad it's happening. The recovery, the name change-- not saying they're so much for publicity as they are perfect for a relaunch of her career.

I'd say that's more just gaga having gaga problems

Valid point. I just think that, by the time she puts an album of her own together, his sound will be on the decline. Which is why I think it's disingenuous to work with him as of now. Of course I could be wrong, but even so; a career reboot doesn't mean she shouldn't be doing her own thing. She needs to establish herself as her own artist again. Working with Zedd would be a little "already been done", you know?
I'd rather her expand on the sound she played with on 'Die Young', or even further cement her urban sound. That's just me though.

I think she should keep up the Die Young/Timber sound, but also explore more of the Harold Song/Past Lives/Hungover/Last Goodbye type songs.
I'd also love something in the vein of YLIMD, uptempo love song.

I'd be happy with songs like Cannibal, Sleazy, Animal and Dirty Love ♥ Actually, it doesn't matter what she'll release, I know I'll love it There's no song in her catalog that I don't like.

I'd also love something in the vein of YLIMD, uptempo love song. So, you basically want her to keep doing variations of what she's already done, and what has led to significantly diminishing returns. I think she needs to completely reinvent herself, and she has the talent and drive to do so. Her dropping the "$" signals that she is aware of this.

She can explore any sound she wants, I'll support her always. As Toy$oldier said, I love her entire discography and I'm ride or die for this chick.
However, she is in a very important spot in her career. With Warrior not selling well, they need to figure out a plan. She can't get all experimental ala Rated R/My December coming off of an era that left her with basically no momentum.
I don't think she'll give up her party song niche, because she's always said she likes that kind of music, but they need to change it up a bit.
The good news- Timber smashed hard, and Kesha still has the golden touch.

Actually I really want her to experiment with styles like rock, urban and EDM, but giving to the new songs her personal touch, like in the songs I mentioned before. God, I want a Gold Trans Am 2.0, that song is everything!!!! ♥

I think she'll be fine. The Warrior era was a ill-planned IMO. Releasing the album in December was the label overachieving with her and other releases overshadowed the project.
Then there was the school shooting, which gave her some negative publicity and ill-will with the public.
Then there was C'mon, which probably shouldn't have been single #2. Its funny that the label has yet to release a solid second single from her. BBB and C'mon were good, but not 2nd single worthy.
With all that said, I just want more of her music in my life. I want her album in my hands, and I want to be at another one of her concerts very soon. She is an amazing live performer and dare I say, one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

You're so lucky! Watching her live is one of my biggest dreams!!! OMG I hope you get the opportunity next era!!! You can feel her presence and her love for music when she's up there on stage. I didn't think any concert would come close to a Kelly Clarkson concert for me, but Kesha did it for me.

I'm ready for her to smash again. Hopefully soon. She's probably busy reconfiguring her team for the next album, but I would die if we got something new in May or June. It wouldn't be summer with out her music.

Hopefully he brings his A game because his last 2 singles have been very samey and generic.

I need a Katy Perry/Kesha collaboration asap please. Honestly, that's the last thing she needs to do if she wants people to start taking her seriously.

Hopefully he brings his A game because his last 2 singles have been very samey and generic. I think as long as Kesha is allowed to have her influence really injected into the work, it'll be fine. Zedd is a talented producer, but I think he needs to work with other artist collaboratively more to grow. Kesha is a perfect match. Her hooks/attitude + His musicianship/production = Glittery Gold.

If they record something like The One That Got Away or The Harold song, I think people would take it seriously. Regardless, I wish all of this mess about her being taken seriously stops. Kesha has always said she loves being carefree and making fun music. She's likely not going to stop making that kind of music anytime soon. I think she just needs to change up the theme a bit. An inspirational anthem like Roar or a love song like Your Love is My Drug will help her shed more of the party girl image.

I was pretty sure she was done, but I think the eating disorder/Dr. Luke is evil/rehab/drop of the $ is, to put it in the most cynical, career-minded perspective, a great "move." It ignites public interest in a way that is completely separate from her one-note, now-dated musical direction (blah blah blah "BUT THE HAROLD SONG!!!1!!--I mean as far as the GP is concerned). She can come back under the guise--and probably reality--of a true comeback, and people eat that s**t up, which she'll need because I don't think, prior to this (and maybe even afterward, we'll see), the GP really gave a shit about Kesha outside of her 2011 singles capitalization on easy dance music. An inspirational, ever-so-slightly more personal, earthy-yet-anthemic anthem a la "Roar" would be perfect and may actually do well for her.
