Craig has really lucked out here. I suppose TBP is still a threat but they are really slowing down, and aside from them, Jake is the only other threat. Craig's been lucky...he got the big boost from Clear Channel, and now he's hit #11 at a time when the 11-17 section of the chart is incredibly soft. KTKC, with 21.7 million, at #11? That's an incredibly low audience number for the #11 spot. Lately it's been in the 28-29 million range, week after week, with 29-30 million needed to hit the #10 spot. Jake's song is probably going to be a big hit, and I think Billy Currington will make a run at the top 5 or higher, but after that you have to go down to Brad or Blake, maybe Chris, to find a song that's acting like a big hit. This part of the chart certainly isn't as stacked as the top 9, which has been an incredibly competitive pack of songs for months now. This song isn't too bad--I like hearing the fiddle featured so prominently--but the lyrics are definitely quite 'vanilla', and I also don't think this song is as strong or as catchy as "Outta My Head". Still, even though this has kinda lucked out so far in getting to #11, it will be nice to see Craig get a top 10, and interesting to see just how far this can climb. Like dajire4 said, hopefully this will bode well for Craig's future.

Finally heard this on the radio the other day for the first time (and I heard it a couple times, no less), and I like it well enough. The song is just kind of "there" as others have stated and it does nothing to make me want to go out of my way to listen to it, though it's certainly not a station changer. It also has climbed up the ranks quicker so I haven't had the chance to get burned on it the way I did with "Outta My Head," which I could go without hearing for a long time at this point.
This is a very fluffy, lightweight song, but at least it sounds country. And for that I am thankful and easily prefer this to a lot of the other songs male "country" artists are putting out right now. Though if the state of the genre wasn't in such an identity crisis on the airwaves, this song wouldn't even stand out at all, so that's probably helping me enjoy it more.

I think this is the first time in a LONG time that a Top 15 hit hasn't been in the Hot 100 at all.

I think this is the first time in a LONG time that a Top 15 hit hasn't been in the Hot 100 at all. "Chainsaw" is only at #102 right now as well. Craig is #101. "Keep Them Kisses Comin'" is at least at #32 on the iTunes country chart. "Chainsaw" is still lagging back at #42. Craig Morgan at #35 and Sara Evans at #41 are really the only other two songs in this area of the chart that are lower on iTunes.

I have mixed feelings about Keep Them Kisses Comin' reaching the top 10. On the one hand, I'm happy for Craig for achieving his first top 10 (from the videos I've seen in his facebook page, he is such a nice genuine family guy and I usually enjoy his music)but, on the other hand, this is his most vanilla release so far. Outta My Head should have been his song to reach the top 10 imho. However, if Keep Them Kisses Comin' becoming a top 10 means his future releases will fare a little better, then I'm all for it He really is a nice guy. In a genre of nice guys, he's one of the nicest I've met. It's easy to root for this guy.

It was just announced that Bigger Picture Music Group, home to Craig Campbell, is laying off staff and shuttering its operations. Wonder what kind of impact this will now have on this single.

It means that all their singles will not be promoted anymore and likely that poor Craig Campbell -- unless he finds a promo partner like RPME or New Revolution quickly, it'll peak at #11 or #10. The label could resurface with new financial backing but it's tough. It's odd though cause they had many good artists (Ryan Kinder looked primed to breakout).

Not to mention Chris Janson who I am a big fan of. Such a shame that Bigger Picture is shuttering. Hopefully artists like Craig, Chris, and Ryan can pick themselves up as quickly as possible.

Given the reaction to Ryan's single and I have (some of) his material, I can see him finding a label home. Craig should be the kind of artist that any label would want, including a bigger one or a Southern Ground type of label (Craig's from GA like them). Chris had his EP released by Sony so perhaps he goes back there.
It'll be interesting to see who Disney decides to work with for Lucy Hale's next single, if they even put that album out now.

Could "Keep Them Kisses Comin'" remain on the charts without promotion from a record label? Craig became the biggest artist on the label when The Zac Brown Band left the label last year to go independent. Hopefully Craig will have another label promoting this before it goes away completely. He had a good shot going Top 10 with this before Bigger Picture shut down. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

Did Lyric Street keep some staff around to push "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)"? Or did they pass that off to another label?
With this at #11, I wonder if BPMG could get someone else to pick it up. Interesting that this is the label's biggest hit to date and they're still closing.

From what I understand about the Lyric Street closing, Rascal Flatts did have staff to push their current single; every other act left or was dropped, I think.

It's numbers are seriously inflated by that new artist integration that gave this an unnatural boost in airplay. It's not selling very well and he's still relatively unknown as a name. It's certainly a far cry from something that would keep the lights on if the label is struggling.

It'll be interesting to see who Disney decides to work with for Lucy Hale's next single, if they even put that album out now. Well the album is on Pre-Order on iTunes with 4 songs released, so I am sure they aren't going to pull the album. It comes out in 4 weeks. Not to mention Hollywood Records has put out albums with a lot less going for them than Lucy's, so I can't imagine they'll be deterred this time.

This isn't the biggest hit for Bigger Picture. That would be "Chicken Fried". All of ZBB's singles from their first 2 albums were worked to radio by Bigger Picture.

They had a full page "letter" ad from Craig's team in Country Aircheck Weekly. It stated the the former BPG staff - promotion, sales, marketing and management - is donating their time and expertise to continue working this song because it's the right thing to do.

^That ad actually doesn't surprise me, and I think this song can get its top 10 peak yet. I'm not sure if it can get all the way to #1 as the ad requests/hopes for, but I think that, even with no label (well, technically, it would seem that the staffers are still working this despite no longer being employed by Bigger Picture), this one could be able to linger on the chart for another few weeks. Plus, with how unfortunate the label closing his been for so many, radio might show Craig and the former BPG employees a lot of 'good will', so to speak, and play this higher up the charts because it'll make for a nice story.

As I have friends who work the radio side of BPG, I'm glad they're helping Craig out. If for nothing else, he'll get that one Top 10 hit. I really hope another label can work with him on at least another project, if not one more single from this album. Sadly, I thought Southern Ground would be a great partner for Craig given the Georgia connection but that label is for Zac and company only now, sadly.

Craig posted this on his Facebook page the other day:
"My hero!! Just had Travis Tritt sing on my new album!! #DreamComeTrue #ALotToLiveUpTo -Thanks Travis"
It's a bummer that BPG shuttered but I don't think Craig will have too much trouble finding a new label home. KTKC might still get into the top 10 yet but I'd imagine it will be the last single from his Never Regret album, and I think that's for the best. Get that top 10 hit and some momentum, and then come swinging with a brand new album from a new label.

Drops one to #12 at MediaBase. Will it do the same in Billboard?

Well this sits at #10 on Mediabase today. I suspect Keith will drop below Craig next week and Eric will go recurrent. Right now he's edging out Tyler Farr for the #10 slot and if he holds off Tyler, KTCC will be #9 on Mediabase this week. On Billboard it's much the same story. I would think Keith will go recurrent as it's 22 weeks old but his slower than normal decreases has me skeptical but if that happens with Eric of course going recurrent, then Craig would be #10 automatically. Perhaps #9 if he can have a better week than Tyler. A bullet of 432 on Mediabase is a great number considering he is labelless.
I think it's a nice story that the staff at Bigger Picture is trying to get this to the top 10 even after the label went under. I still hated the "On The Verge" tactic but I find myself rooting for this now to have a happy ending and hopefully we will hear Craig finding a new label home very soon.

Was just thinking about coming into this thread to talk about its top 10 chances :) Referring to the bolded part, I have no doubt that Keith will go recurrent. His losses aren't as big as Church's but CC is going to be posting bigger and bigger losses with each passing day, I'm sure of it. And even if Keith 'only' loses 3 mil for the week (and he's on pace to lose more than that), he'll easily fall below Jake, Craig, and Tyler in audience, and thus "Cop Car" will be moved to recurrent status. Heck, both Chris Young and Blake Shelton might jump ahead of Keith in BB audience by the end of the day Sunday, with the way their songs are gaining this week. Otherwise, I share your thoughts here--it will be nice to see Craig get that first career top 10 hit. I know the former BGP staffers would love for this to keep going (after top 10) and hit #1 but I don't think it'll be able to climb much higher. It's definitely doing great right now but I feel like top 10 might be as high as radio will allow this to get, given that it's lost its label support.

Great job to the former staff at Bigger Picture to get this to the top 10 (could have been #9 if it was able to out nudge Tyler which came up short). Nice to see radio actually rallying around it too, instead of just pulling the plug like I thought they might. Craig finally get's his first top 10 single and he does so labelless.
I don't expect this to go too much farther. Both Blake and Chris will pass him come next week with one falling below (Rascal Flatts) and one going recurrent (Thomas Rhett), so the best I see him doing will be holding steady at #10 and that's assuming he still has his bullet. Maybe another two or three weeks at the most and then begin it's descent. I'm sure we'll hear in the not so distant future of Craig finding a new label home.

So this'll be the last single from the album? He doesn't have a label and the album was released over a year ago and it's lead single was released in September of 2012. I'm fairly certain this will be the final single from Never Regret. Another label could decide to pick up promotion with a third single, where Bigger Picture left off but I doubt it. If he hooks on with another label (which I believe he will or already has) they will just put out a lead single from new material.

Unfortunately I don't expect Craig to make the Billboard top 10 when the chart comes out on Tuesday. He's got a chance but I like Blake's odds better. I'm working on my projections right now and here's what I have for songs 10-12: 10) Blake Shelton f/ Gwen Sebastian – “My Eyes” (26.120) 11) Craig Campbell – “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” (25.770) 12) Chris Young – “Who I Am With You” (25.730) A very close battle, for sure, but of course the Blake and Chris singles both have a lot more life left in them.

I was focusing on the Mediabase chart, even though many here choose not to follow that one. If Craig does not get that top 10 on Billboard, I fear he never will with Blake and Chris' songs on fire right now. "Keep Them Kisses Comin'" just won't have enough in it to keep its bullet without a label supporting him. I suppose there's a chance he could keep gaining because I haven't seen to many instances where a song on the cusp of the top 10 loses its label, so I don't have enough previous knowledge to base my prediction of Craig not lasting long enough off of. Top 10 on MB at least if anybody out there cares.

I was focusing on the Mediabase chart, even though many here choose not to follow that one. Well, of course--I knew that! He's already #10 there now and the MB week is over :) Up until today I was pretty sure he'd stay ahead of Blake and Chris on Billboard too, but I hadn't paid enough attention to the numbers to see just how much Blake and Chris had gained. I had to scale back Craig's audience a bit because some of his gains have come from Westwood One.

I was too quite surprised how much Blake has gained recently. The audience between the three is super close on both charts. Craig will likely not be top 10 on Billboard. I still enjoy the fight the former staffers at Bigger Picture are putting up though.

As for if this would be the last single from Never Regret, I believe he's announced that he's already working on new music for his third album, so I don't see his sophomore set spawning a third radio release.
