I doubt Shape Of You/Despacito/Believer will be making it. Their gains will end soon. I think SOY could, since it was gaining before it got the year-end boost, due to Perfect being so successful.

I don't think it has a chance to return to #1. Billboard is going to adjust sales giving it a bigger impact on the Hot 100 and that's bad for rockstar.

Yeah, it'll be the first song since Uptown Funk to get over 52 weeks, and UF probably would've only got 52 if the rule had been introduced earlier.

Week 52: #37 Week 53: #36 (Would've been recurrent with the new rule)Week 54: #24 (Should return with the new rule) Week 55: #21 Week 56: #22 (March 5th, 2016. Super Bowl boost)

^ Actually, I think Uptown Funk re-entering was courtesy of the Grammys. The Super Bowl boost I think was the week before that dated chart.

So... From what I've read up, it seems as if people that do the YE charts often end up quiting pulse. I think that I have a solution.
It stresses the people and purse them under a lot of pressure, and I can't imagine calculating points being a lot of fun.
We should introduce rotation: we set 3-4 people to edit it. Now, don't count me in, as I have my top 10 thread (updated every 2 weeks).

Hugo! is very correct, I can't speak for everyone but my short time doing the predictions was not fun, it was very stressful especially when I got the math wrong many times and had to go back and fix the list. There's a lot of pressure on you, because everyone here wants the predictions as accurate as possible and sometimes it's a big workload to get something like that done. I could jump back on for a couple weeks I guess, but I will not go full time again. I like the idea of having 3-4 people do the predictions and have it rotate, so every week a different person does the predictions and then passes them off next week to another person. It would definitely take the stress off people who are doing the predictions.

What if we do 1 predictor every month, or every 2 months or somethin? I can be available in the summer. I can also probably be available to do 01/06 & 01/13.

Yeah it does seem to be a very stressful, taxing job. Another idea is maybe we could just try to be a little more lax, and not too intensive and obsessive about the calculations. It might lower the accuracy a bit, but in a way it might make it more fun because it would lead to a higher element of surprise to see how it matches up with the official year-end.
