Sugar and/or Trap Queen could pass Blank Space yeah, i was looking at that this morning. not really a fan of either song, so i hope not. To each their own, but I feel the opposite way haha. I really loved Blank Space at one point but after the first 4-5 weeks at #1 is started to feel overrated to me lol. I totally don't mind/am willing to accept top 10 but #4 is a bit high IMO lol

Sugar and Trap Queen are good, but I hope Blank Space is at least #5, if not #4. It appeared to be her first Year End top 5 since Love Story in 2009 at the beginning of the year, and I would be quite dissapointed if it came up juuuust short at #6.

Sugar was Maroon 5s worst song in my opinion, was very annoying and very overplayed. At least Animals was sort of catchy in a way.

I'm hoping Centuries can make the top 30, and Elastic Heart can get at least 10-15K points before it falls off :/

I feel bad for the song "Blame" It was popular at the worst time making it barely miss the 2014 and 2015 charts, if it was released in Spring or Summer, it could have possibly reached top 50 one year, right? I've thought about the same thing too! So upsetting as it's my favorite single from Motion :'( idk about top 50 but 100 would be for damn sure I think LMH was released at a bad time too :'( Or at least the video. Same as The Heart Wants What It Wants, and maybe even Jealous

The top 3 is already determined that it is Uptown Funk, See You Again, and Thinking Out Loud in that order

"I think LMH was released at a bad time too :'( Or at least the video. Same as The Heart Wants What It Wants, and maybe even Jealous [/quote] "
but at least LMH and THWWIW will make the year end list and both songs peaked after the cut off date, they just went down pretty fast after peaking. "Jealous" on the other hand did pretty well, charting all the way through late May, and you should expect it to see it in the top 50 on the year end list.

Revised year-end predictions (projected total points in brackets)
1. Uptown funk (1620k) 2-3. See You Again (1100-1150k) 2-3. Thinking out Loud (1100k) 4. Trap Queen (960k) 5. Cheerleader (850-900k) 6. Sugar (850-875k) 7. Blank Space (835k) 8. Shut Up+Dance (800k) 9-11. Bad Blood (720-740k) 9-11. Earned It (725k) 9-11. Can't feel My Face (700-750k) 12-14. Love Me Like You Do (675k) 12-14. Take Me To Church (675k) 12-14. Watch Me (650-700k) 15. Shake It off (550k)
Well well..... it seems #2 isn't so much locked anymore. In the past few weeks, See You Again has been dropping like a rock, while Thinking Out Loud has held pretty well. See You Again still has the upper hand, but if it doesn't stabilize soon, it could face an upset.
Cheerleader seems to have peaked already, so it will not be able to beat Trap Queen, which has been holding pretty well. And if it starts crashing like See You Again, then there is a slight chance it might even finish behind Sugar!
Blank Space and Shut Up+ Dance have berths locked in Top-10.
For the remaining two spots. there are three contenders. It would be interesting to see which artist gets 2 songs in the Top-10, Taylor Swift or The Weeknd. Only one of them will.

Is there a chance Animals will make the top 40?

Is there a chance Animals will make the top 40? It's doubtful. It is at #25 right now. Another 11 songs which I have mentioned will easily pass it. So even if 5-6 more songs overtake it then it will go outside Top-40.

On my predictions so far it seems like Night Changes may be ahead of She Knows, Prayer In C, Waves, Ghost, and maybe even Dont. It had a better run and a more balanced run.

On my list I can definitely see Shake it Off being top 10 on year end charts.
So far I have INTOO higher than Lips Are Movin by a slight margin. Reason is because it lasted a week longer.
There could be a chance GDFR ends up higher than Style on my list.
Riptide is a bit too low on your list. On mine so far the scores ended up higher than 7/11.
Night Changes is too low, it had a good and balanced run, on my list it finished off barely higher than Tuesday.
Does This Summers Gonna Hurt have a chance to reach top 100?
Anyways these are my chart sorta spoilers so far, what do you guys think?

On my list I can definitely see Shake it Off being top 10 on year end charts. Definitely in the top 10? How? Unless my estimations are WAY off, I just can't see it happening. Top 20, yes, top 10, no. It's days on the Hot 100 are over as soon as next week. Songs like Bad Blood and Cheerleader are bound to have more points than SIO in this chart year. Bad Blood is probably only 2-3 weeks away from beating Lips Are Movin', and probably 4-6 weeks away from beating SIO.

Because it has been on the charts since the start of the year. I said its a possibility. What do you think of my other sorta spoilers that I have right now?

1 On my list I can definitely see Shake it Off being top 10 on year end charts. 2 So far I have INTOO higher than Lips Are Movin by a slight margin. Reason is because it lasted a week longer. 3 There could be a chance GDFR ends up higher than Style on my list. 4 Riptide is a bit too low on your list. On mine so far the scores ended up higher than 7/11. 5 Night Changes is too low, it had a good and balanced run, on my list it finished off barely higher than Tuesday. 6 Does This Summers Gonna Hurt have a chance to reach top 100? Anyways these are my chart sorta spoilers so far, what do you guys think? 1 You use the word "definitely" which seems like more than thinking it's a possibility. :) 2 Could go either way I suppose, but I, like Daniel, give LAM the edge here. 3 Not seeing it. Considerable point gap by my estimations. 4 This particular area of the chart is difficult to predict, but I have 7/11 with a considerable point lead over Riptide... so based on an objective point scale, I disagree. 5 I'm not sure what your criteria is, but when you say things like "it had a good balanced run", you lose me. It's vague and seems a little too subjective. 6 Probably not. It'll fall out of the YE top 100 by the time the chart year ends, imo. It's gonna be off the Hot 100 probably within 2 weeks, but holding on for an extra week could make or break it. But I'm betting it will not make the cut.

For Well Balanced run, I mean it stayed around same positions for a long while, I believe Night Changes High and Low was 31 and 63, thats what I call a Balanced Run, unlike Songs like lets say The Heart Wants What It Wants where it Rose fast and then Fell fast, get what I mean? Riptide, Elastic Heart, and Take Your Time had or are having good balanced runs too.

I hope Elastic Heart can get to #34 before it falls off very soon (I thought it would this week). Basing off Daniel's predictions, there are at least 4 songs in the top 100 right now that will more than likely get above it. The top 40 would be very nice for it to finish out in, but I can see top 50 being realistic.

I feel like that can be ultimately very deceiving. It all depends on context. Song X may spend four weeks on the chart, each week 50K points, but never crack the top 3, song Y two months later may spend five weeks on the chart, all at #1, but may only gather 30K points each week. Does that mean song Y still performed better?

^ yep. it ultimately comes down solely to point totals - not peak, number of weeks, or balance. <---- and all of those things mean something different every week in terms of points.

You can have a song like Harlem Shake only staying for 20 weeks (which are less than lots of songs) and with a clearly unbalanced chart run(1-1-1-1-1-2-4-6-13-17-22-30-38-50-53-54-63-60-64-70), but having 5 huge weeks (all with 100K+ points) secured it a spot on top songs of the year.
