Where do you think this will peak? It's at #27 on MB today.

Don't care for the repeated "later on later on", but otherwise I really love this song! It's such a jam. Hope it continues climbing for them. I'd love to see this get into the top 10 at least. It would certainly be worthy of making it to #1, although I think that probably won't happen.

This has quietly become a top 15 hit on MB. Not sure how much gas it has left, it's been moving slowly but I could see it going top 10.

These guys' voices are so thin and weak that I thought they were teenagers. But they're in their late 20s. What the heck.
That's really what kills it for me — I don't like their voices very much.

I like this. It doesn't stand out as anything remotely groundbreaking and I'm a little surprised it's been doing as well as it has, but it is catchy and a good example of a light-hearted, fun radio song that actually sounds like it belongs on country radio. Not something I'd go out of my way to hear probably, but I enjoy it well enough when it comes on radio and I'm at least a little interested to see what else they come up with.
And, unrelated to the song, but I must say that the thin one is incredibly easy on the eyes.

I enjoy this when it comes on the radio. It's a pleasant listen, but I'm not going to go out of my way to listen to it. I'm also surprised this has done so well.

This has actually had a chart run I expected. Remember they got 70 first week adds for "Later On". It was announced that this would be their debut single two or three months before the add date, and there was a ton of buzz surrounding them with of course the name recognition of The Voice. Plus they were very impressive on their radio tour. Arista really managed their debut very well IMO.
This song has slowed down a bit inside the top 20 but I think it might have a couple weeks left, since it's 23 weeks old and I feel Arista will fight for a top 10 peak. Either way, I'm not surprised about how well this has done thus far.

This has actually had a chart run I expected. Remember they got 70 first week adds for "Later On". I know I'm quoting this about 3 weeks later, but I'd say this chart run is actually quite atypical. I personally expected it as well, but industry research has shown that the song that's most added on its impact date has about a 65% chance of going to #1. And these guys had a huge add day back in March and a quick start up the charts, but now with all the huge releases, this one's just gotten stuck. The big thing to take away here, though, is that this hasn't sold much at all. Total track sales are only around 125k--it's consistently had one of the worst sales per spin ratios throughout its entire climb up the charts. Still, it's #15 on Billboard now, and you would think that Arista would have learned from The Henningsens situation to release an album. And yet here we are, with the song barely clinging to life (down over 300k on MB today), and no album release date in sight. Like I said, the single isn't selling all that well, but there's no guarantee that a 2nd single is going to do much better. In fact I'd say its chances aren't very good. So I think it'd be in the label's best interest to release an album this fall to at least make a little money and to get some music out there. The album probably wouldn't sell well but it would at least do something. For whatever reason the fans just haven't responded to this track like radio did, and I really think that that's why this one started off so fast (initial excitement from radio) but then came screeching to a halt. We saw that with The Henningsens and we saw it with Charlie Worsham too :'( Fortunately for Charlie his label at least released his album. I don't think "Later On" is going to get too much higher on the radio charts so I wish Arista would release their album soon while this is at/near its peak, because it could take a long time for another single to catch on--or it might not happen at all, and then they put in all the effort promoting "Later On" for nothing.

I wbhiy the verses if this song, they have a nice meledy, but the chorus is uncatchy and lyrically uninteresting.

The more I hear this song, the more I can look past their weak, thin singing voices. This is actually a pretty solid, if unoriginal song.

When I first heard this song I kind of rolled my eyes at the thought of another bro-artist, trying to sound like FGL (although I love FGL). This song is pretty good by itself.
Saw these guys live last week and they put on a great show. One of the better I've seen, and I've seen a lot this year. They definitely have their country roots in the right place.

I hate this song. The verses are quite pleasant. The chorus though is annoying bothlyrically and mmelodically. I mean it doesn't even try to be charming.

I really want to see the Swon Brothers win a CMA Award for Vocal Duo of The Year, but FGL will probably win like usual.

Their pronunciation of words just sounds like a couple 12 year olds! I wouldn't poke fun of it if they absolutely couldn't help it, but that's something they can clearly fix...

Surprised this song is still hanging on by a thread. Every time I look at Mediabase, it's not even in triple digits for increases.
I've always thought this song was very FGL-copycat-ish, but there's nothing definitively bad about the tune.
Saw these two live last month and man were they rocking! They have some really great stuff and in my opinion, this was their choice for a safe first single based on the current tastes of radio. These guys could be around for a while.

I'm really hoping this song falls off the chart, or essentially gives up, once their album comes out. It's not that I have a problem with this song, but it hasn't been selling well at all, and there's no way it becomes a #1. It's kind of just taking up much needed space on the charts. "Look At You" is in a pretty similar situation as well.

Yeah, this song's sales are absolutely abysmal. It's not even in the top 500 overall on iTunes. You have to go clear down to pretty much outside the top 40 on the radio charts to find a song that's selling less than "Later On" is, and this one has 5x the audience that songs near #40 have.
I'm fairly certain that if this was 2004, "Later On" would've faltered and disappeared as many as 2-3 months ago already. I think it's plainly clear that Arista has been doing all they can to keep this in the top 15, even though it's barely moved over the last few weeks/months, because otherwise they couldn't release the album in a couple of weeks (they would've had to release it a month or two ago). In other words, the label has probably been working very hard to keep this alive so that it's still top 20 when the album comes out. They could've probably bumped up the album release but maybe mid-October was the earliest they could have it ready, or maybe they were confident enough that they could keep this on the charts just long enough to get them up to the album release, and then drop a 2nd single while also having the album benefit from a Q4 release.
"Later On" will drop in a hurry when the label finally does pull the plug. I could see it happening within the next 1-3 weeks, since the album is out in less than 2 weeks. Arista put "Top 10 Bound" ads in Country Aircheck a few weeks back but I could see already by then that this wasn't very likely to get there, and sure enough, "Later On" got passed by Blake, Sam, Frankie, LBT, and now Keith. Maddie & Tae should pass them on the next Billboard chart as well, and pretty soon after that, they'll have to deal with Brad, Tim, and Carrie.

This song is definently nowhere near great though it's nothing to hate. Looking at the titles of the songs on their debut it looks like it could be interesting. I've kinda learned to see through the facade new artists make. That facade being that the artists releases a below average debut song but has a stellar album(examples being Jon Pardi, Eric Paslay, and Joel Crouse)

I think it's pretty interesting at least that we've seen songs that really don't have business being top 15 or 20 hits lately with "Later On" and "Song About A Girl". They have sub-par to bad sales digitally and aren't testing that well. Yet the label is able to push the heck out of it and radio bends over backwards to obey their wishes. I agree that if "Later On" was released 10 years ago, you would have seen a peak of #22 or #23 and not top 15. It's another example of how times have changed chart wise so drastically in such a short period of time.
