Actually sounds pretty good! More "The Collapse"-esque than "Sick"-esque, which is great!

The radio edit is posted under Cool New Music. It also sounds pretty good.

Like all Adelitas Way, I don't love it, but there are more sections in this song that I'm into than I am for most of their singles. The bridge in this song is pretty friggin' cool. Everything else is okay but nothing draws my ire. I know that's a fairly unenthusiastic compliment, but the only Adelitas Way song that I've liked more than this one is "The Collapse" so I'd say this is fairly good all things considered.

It sounds great! I'm not saying it was worth all the delays, but it was worth the gap between albums. I just want to know what the radio changes, does it shorten the original album version, or is it just a clean version. Anyway, I am satisfied. :)

I rather like it, the chorus isn't instantly memorable but it may be a grower.

It hit top 10 though, I don't think that's necessarily a flop.

Thank god for that though.

Sure, some of their songs are cock-rocky ("Invincible" for example), and they have their sappy ballads as well ("Alive"), but in my opinion they are lyrically and musically more interesting than most of what Hinder could churn out, with stand-outs including "The Collapse" and "Dog On a Leash."

I wouldn't necessarily call a #8 peak a "flop" (though I'm sure the band and label were hoping for a higher peak). I think it's simply a victim of bad timing...considering the heavy hitters who make up the Top 7 this week (plus those that are muscling their way into the Top 10).
The plethora of "core" Active Rock artists (Linkin Park, Godsmack, Seether, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, etc.) currently releasing new material is something else...thus making the Top 10 a more volatile place to be at the moment.
Plan to track through Adelitas Way new cd during my break today.

They are in a much higher class and are far superior to Hinder in terms of quality, but stylistically, they ought to be grouped with the likes of Hinder, Buckcherry, Rev Theory, and Saving Abel. Bands that all draw major influence from 80s hair metal. Whether or not they incorporate "cock rock" into that is variable, but the musical style all lines up, in my opinion anyway.

I didn't think much of the new album. Too many slower songs that didn't lure me in much. I liked their last album though.

Their last album is still my favorite from them. I only liked 4 songs from this album (Dogs on a Leash, Different Kind of Animal, Undivided, and Something More).
