I don't think I have ever seen an explicit song on the iTunes country chart. "Automatic" and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" are tagged "explicit." Ah, that's right, I did know that. But even so, those songs have a much different feel to them than Chase's song does.

"We Goin' Out" added to iTunes off the upcoming Chase Rice album Ignite The Night. He also sent a free download of "Carolina Can", another track off the album, to his email subscribers. And iTunes denotes the song as "explicit". I don't think I have ever seen an explicit song on the iTunes country chart. Not that I'm completely offended by cussing or anything, but it just goes to show the changing of the culture of country music and country music fans.. Yeah. There's a line in the chorus "Driving our sh** just like we stole it". I didn't even notice the "explicit" label on iTunes, but the line caught me off guard on first listen

Two songs from Chely Wright's "Lifted Off The Ground" album are listed as explicit.

September is going to be such a great month for album releases. I'm going to have a lot of shopping to do (Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Lee Ann Womack, Maroon 5, possibily Train and Lady Antebellum. Good thing I get paid again in September, haha.

So no one's buying this "leaking" campaign from Brad Paisley, right? It seems really fabricated to me, haha. Quick question (I hope) I have been wondering about a chart on ALL Access called Country Street Pulse. Does anyone know how this relates to album sales for an artist? I see that there is a percentage in regards to units, but was curious how this impacts the overall album and if it is a viable chart. Thank you. The StreetPulse FAQ should cover most of that: www.allaccess.com/streetpulse/faq

So no one's buying this "leaking" campaign from Brad Paisley, right? It seems really fabricated to me, haha. It does seem somewhat fabricated, but I'm not sure that it is. Brad and Sony have had lawsuits filed against each other in the past (I don't believe they've come to terms; basically, Brad feels the label hasn't paid him everything he's owed), and the label might not be all that happy that Brad is sending out a bunch of tweets and Facebook posts so quickly if he's not supposed to yet. I really don't know. It could go either way. It definitely is a good way to create a little publicity, so perhaps it's all been set up. But there is a bit of a rocky history there to consider.

Blake Shelton Bringing Back The Sunshine September 30th, 2014 I'm assuming this is a brand new album? If so, this release would be barely 8 weeks from now, which means we should expect a brand new single any day now.

Blake cut Anthony Smith's song "Bringing Back The Sunshine" for his upcoming album. I'm not sure this will be a lead single

Seems like slowly, but surely Blake Shelton is going in a more creative direction judging from the album cover to the title track he cut. Heres to hoping the rest of the album is that way as well.

Killer song. Can't really picture Blake Shelton cutting this, but that may also be good news.

Creative Direction? Naw. His image just doesn't need to be plastered on his cover for people to know who he is!

What's going on with Kip Moore? no release date yet? There won't be a release date set til they can get a hit from this album. So far "Dirt Road" looks like it's not going to do much more than what it's already done thus far. I too would love to see his sophomore album get released but they have to get a single up the charts first.
