This release does not make much sense to me.... Why is Alan's Christmas album coming out again this year with exactly the same songs on it and a different cover photo? I could see if they re-released it with extra songs on it like Martina did a couple of times, but this is pointless..??? I guess it's great for the people who cannot find his 2002 album, which might be out of print by now!

www.ghosttunes.com/trisha-yearwood/
Available through GhostTunes. PrizeFighter the song is only available if you preorder the album and you also get She's In Love With the Boy and How Do I Live now. I understand going with GhostTunes with this, I just think it's a HUGE mistake for her. Garth can get away with it, I don't think she can.
eta: according to this person from yesterday's press conference, Trisha's is expected in November too. music.blog.ajc.com/2014/09/19/garth-brooks-trisha-yearwood-talk-november-album-releases-at-atlanta-press-conference/

I wonder if "She Met Him In a Motel Room" is the same song that Gwen Sabation had out while ago also written by Joey+Rory

Long time reader, finally got around to creating an account.
Anyways, I saw Will Hoge at Joe's here in Chicago last night (great show btw), and he announced that his new album would be out in February. Didn't give any more details, but did sing a couple new songs, all of which sounded phenomenal. It's still several months away obviously, but this will be one I'm eagerly anticipating!

Glad that we have a tracklist for Trisha. I still wish that we were getting a full album of new material, but I'll take it. Interesting that "Victim Of The Game" is being included. I love that song (both her version and Garth's), and would love to see it finally get a release as a single. Maybe if she rerecorded it, there's a chance that it might be.

According to a friend who pre-ordered the album, it does sound as if Trisha did indeed re-record the tracks. We are hoping the liner notes will say something when the album is formally released. Glad that we have a tracklist for Trisha. I still wish that we were getting a full album of new material, but I'll take it. Interesting that "Victim Of The Game" is being included. Thought not a true album, Kip Moore put out four new songs (plus "Beer Money") on Spotify today. Sucks that he's struggled to get his second album out but cool that he was able to give his fans something in advance of the CMT tour starting this weekend.

Randy Montana will release an EP online sometime in October. He parted ways with Mercury at some point within the past year, so I'm assuming that the EP will either be released by an indie label or he'll just independently release it himself.
The EP will be titled Put Me In A Box. Randy posted a preview of the title track on his Facebook page.

about Lee Ann Womack's new CD? Is the CD out in Canada yet? most sites show the release as SEPT 30.??? I would like to get it for the bonus material, but I am not sure I can be patient! lol
Is the new cd full of remixes or the original versions of past singles? If it's new updated fresh stuff, I'll take it. otherwise, I already have two of her Greatest Hits that MCA released.

Trisha's is being released on 11/17. Thanks for posting! I'm actually surprised that it's not the other way around for Garth and Trisha's albums. Garth is releasing on Tuesday the 11th, and Trisha on Monday the 17th. I would've thought Garth would want a Monday release to get that extra day of sales. Just a curious observation, though. In the long run it won't matter, but I was just thinking Garth would want to get as many sales as possible in his debut week by opting for a Monday release. ETA: According to an email from Sony, Trisha's album is apparently actually titled PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit. The digital pre-order is available now on Ghost Tunes--the pre-order comes with instant downloads of "PrizeFighter" as well as "She's In Love With The Boy" and "How Do I Live".

I may be biased, but I think it's pretty awesome. Edit: Actually it looks like they might have accidentally put the full version up...now it's a minute and a half clip.

Yeah, I was also surprised the dates weren't reversed. Clever title for a glorified greatest hits album and sticking with the boxing theme. Is the new cd full of remixes or the original versions of past singles? If it's new updated fresh stuff, I'll take it. otherwise, I already have two of her Greatest Hits that MCA released. I'm not sure myself, but I've seen some mention that they think she rerecorded the songs. I can't remember which interview it was now, but I swear she mentioned that "How Do I Live" was supposed to be a slightly different version that they had recorded previously. I wish I could remember where I heard her say that at.

Collin Raye announced that he is finishing up an album of all love songs that he will be releasing in 2015 via an email blast out to fans today. He'll be unveiling one or two of them via a Stage-It show this evening.

So i looked on wikipedia today and it says Kip Moore's "Smoke" will be released on December 16th? Obviously not the greatest source but does anyone know anything? Yeah, I have my doubts about that right now, mostly because MCA has pushed back the album since they haven't gotten a hit, but also because December 16 is not a good date for an album release, and of course anybody can edit Wikipedia. Whoever put that date on there didn't link to a source, either, so chances are it's made up. Sometimes we get albums released in early December but you're not likely to see any major releases the week before Christmas. I'm sure December 2 and December 9 will have a few releases but there's always about a 4-week window around Christmas and New Year's where really no major albums come out, so this year it'll probably be the 16th, 23rd, 30th, and January 6th. MCA would need to release a single right now anyway for it to even have a shot at being top 30 in 2 1/2 months. And if they didn't release the album when "Young Love" was top 25, I don't think they'll want to release it with no big hit and a very unconventional release date of mid-December.

does anyone know what happened to Wynonna??? Her last original album was 2003? It's time for something new!! "Working on an album to be released later this year" seems to be her standard answer for the last few years. I think she was initially supposed to have a new album of original material in 2005 (with "Peace In This House" as the lead single), so no idea at this point.

According to HDD, Toby Keith will be releasing a new album on December 9th. There's no mention as to whether it's a new studio album or some kind of hits package. www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/sales_ur.cgi (scroll down to the very bottom of the page) If it's a new studio album, we can probably expect a new single within the next 1-3 weeks...a release any later than the 2nd week of October wouldn't make much sense. Some sort of "hits" album is another possibility. He released Greatest Hits 2 in November 2004 and 35 Biggest Hits in May 2008. Anything released since 2008's "She Never Cried In Front Of Me" could potentially go on a new hits album...so we'd be talking about songs like "God Love Her", "Lost You Anyway", "American Ride", "Cryin' For Me", "Bullets In The Gun", "Made In America", "Red Solo Cup", "Beers Ago", "I Like Girls That Drink Beer", "Hope On The Rocks", "Drinks After Work", etc (he's released a total of 16 singles since 2008, beginning with "She Never Cried...") I'm personally guessing that it's a new studio album but I don't think we can rule out a compilation album, either.
