Holy crap, Rihanna sounds amazing on this! :o Their voices also blend really well together when they harmonize and such. Decent track. I see it being more of a grower than an instant track.

I love Rihanna's voice on this. I can't understand Shakira. I can't remember the song much at all after a few hours passed.

I love this song. Probably my favorite lead single of Shakira's since La Tortura. Their voices meld together well. And it sounds current and different from anything on the radio now. I love when Shakira does her own thing and doesn't fall trends. And for the first time since Laundry Service, the mix is right on Shakira's songs with the music being loud enough. Her work since LS, have had a problem with getting the music loud enough IMO.
I think Shakira sounds fine. I have no problems understanding the lyrics from either one of them.

The verses are amazing...such a good melody. The chorus is a bit meh... I think it would work if it was poppier. I think it's produced way too heavy and I think it's going to hold this back on radio. I really hope there's a decent Major Lazer remix of this and they can put a Push N Shove style chorus on.

For such a hyped single I'm kinda disapointed in it maybe it will grow on me and I will like it in a few days.

I like it but it does feel over produced. It's almost makes you wonder if they were in the same room together when making this because it's kind of detached for a duet. I have my doubts how this would sound live. But I did like it on first listen which probably means it'll do really well once on the radio.

This is okay. Maybe it will grow on me? Rihanna makes the song. Does this have a radio deal today?

Not overly impressed on the first listen. It isn't bad, it just doesn't really grab me. Could definitely see this growing on me. I would love for Shakira to see more success stateside--"Give It Up To Me" and especially "Loca" should have done that for her without a problem--but I tend to find her English material lacking. Sale el Sol was one of my favorite albums of that year.

Overhyped song. This is nothing more than a 5 rating out of 10. BYE. The song is more and more flawless with every listen. I won't take anything but a #1.

I love both their voices on this and I love the verses but the chorus doesn't impress me. I'm sure it will grow though. On first listen I like it but the chorus just seems weak.

I like this a lot. It may not be the most updated sounding song but it's still hot.

This is moving much slower on US iTunes than I expected. Currently #72.

She looks fantastic, especially in the second pic. I can't believe she's almost 40!

BYE. The song is more and more flawless with every listen. I won't take anything but a #1. Was that really necessary? Anyways, Rihanna's vocals are actually the highlight on this. Color me surprised.

You have no choice but to accept my thoughts on the song. Have a nice one, dear. I have no choice but to wonder if you know what "overhyped" means. Right, because calling one thing overhyped completely eliminates anything else in the world from being thought of as overhyped. [Flaw #1] And this song had hype going for it before it was released, as opposed to the other project in question, which built hype based on the material and the nature of its delivery. [Flaw #2] Completely fucking irrelevant to anything. [Flaw #3]

Which leads me to my own opinion on this song...

I think at the moment it's at a decent position without an ad or anything.
It took "The Monster" 17 hours to hit #1. Eminem is a bigger draw than Shakira, and that had been the first new Rihanna song in awhile where this is coming directly off her last.

My feed hasn't updated yet. It's still showing #72 in iTunes and #48 on the kworb site. Thanks for the correct update. now its #36 in the US, #24 in the UK, #21 in Canada and top 10 in France. It's moving quick to #1 in the Shakira hot spots. But yeah, the US is what she truly wants. #1 on musicload.de GERMANY, which is apparently more popular than iTunes in Germany.

Let them get themselves banned. No reason to take the thread off track.
Did anyone find out if this has any kind of radio deal?

I said all I was going to say to her. She'll live.
Anywho, I would assume this has a deal? I heard this 2x in a span of 30mins on the same station. I kinda forget how those deals work & if they somewhat changed over the course of 2yrs.

Meh. It's okay on the first listen. It's not bad by any means but I was bored while listening to it. Perhaps it will grow on me. With a few exceptions, most of the songs I like from either artist were growers.

I like this. Like somebody said, this is Shakira-by-numbers type of song but Rihanna is the spice here. There's nothing beneath the surface though.
