Random Album Cut Of The Day:
Artist: Trace Adkins Song: "Metropolis" Writers: Anthony Smith, Chris Wallin Album: Songs About Me Label: Capitol Nashville Release Year: March 22, 2005 Producer: Scott Hendricks
Trace Adkins released his sixth studio album Songs About Me in March of 2005. The record was produced mostly by Scott Hendricks, though Dan Huff who is well known for producing Rascal Flatts' albums helped produce three tracks including "Honkytonk Badonkadonk". There were three singles from the project; "Songs About Me" got to #3 on Radio And Records and #2 on Billboard, "Arlington" peaked at #15 on Radio And Records, and "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" reached #2 (Mostly thanks to Carrie's "Jesus Take The Wheel). Some highlights of the album were of course the huge hit "Badonkadonk" which was penned by then unknown Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser, along with Dallas Davidson. There was also a Shane Minor and Wendell Mobley song called "Find Me A Preacher" which many wanted as a single. Trace's album debuted at #1. It replaced Kerosene by Miranda Lambert and was replaced at the top by The Right To Bare Arms by Larry The Cable Guy.
"Metropolis" was track #9 and was written by Anthony Smith and Chris Wallin. Anthony Smith was actually a recording artist for Mercury Nashville in the early 2000's and charted three singles including the #26 peaking "If That Ain't Country" in 2002. "Metropolis" was also on Smith's only album for Mercury as well. He was briefly signed to James Stroud's Stroudavarious Records in 2009 and released one single for the label called "Bringing Back The Sunshine". Some of Smith's other co-writes include "What Do Ya Think About That" by Montgomery Gentry, "Run" by George Strait, "Kristofferson" by Tim McGraw, "Daisy" by Halfway To Hazard, and other Trace Adkins songs like "I'm Tryin'" and "Chrome".
One of my all-time favorite Trace songs here. I was actually at my Dad's place of work one weekend night. He worked at a place in which he had his own computer and allowed me during the Summer to download some songs (We didn't have a computer for my entire childhood). I decided to download this song purely on the cool title alone. After I heard the whole thing, I was so happy I did. It wasn't until later I listened to all of the album, and the only one that I would put close to this one were "Arlington" and "Find Me A Preacher". I wish this would have been released and perhaps it wasn't the best choice but I think it would have made the top 20 back then.

Phenomenal song, sabre14. This has always been one of my favorite songs by Trace Adkins as well. When he's recording smart, thoughtful material like this, he's really tough to beat.

Artist: Allison Moorer Single: "A Soft Place to Fall" Writers: Allison Moorer, Gwil Owen Albums: Alabama Song, Horse Whisperer Soundtrack Label: MCA Nashville Video Director: Robert Redford Year Released: 1998 Billboard Peak: #73 Little sis Allison recorded under her given name. Her first single, "A Soft Place to Fall," appeared on her debut album, Alabama Song (released in 1998). It was also used in the movie The Horse Whisperer (starring Robert Redford) and received a 1999 Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. The video for the song features scenes from the movie. The song peaked at #73 on the country chart. Great selection Old Fart In NC! You have a keen sense of reading my mind I think. Not just a week ago I randomly pulled out "The Horse Whisperer" soundtrack (always one of my favorite soundtracks and movies). It contains the great "Dream River" by the Mavericks and ends with King George singing "Red River Valley." My favorite song from the soundtrack, though, was "Still I Long For Your Kiss" by Lucinda Williams. Great, great soundtrack!

Random Sisters of the Day:
I am sure Shelby Lynne and Allison Moorer are just sisters. How random they are would be anyone's guess.

I like the ones you mentioned, and also Dwight Yoakam's version of "Cattle Call." My favorite would probably be "Dream River," because it's so relaxing and I really like the whistle part.

Random Videos Of The Day: 2007
Artist: Miranda Lambert Single: "Famous In A Small Town" Writers: Miranda Lambert, Travis Howard Album: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Label: Columbia Nashville Video Director: Trey Fanjoy Year Released: April 2, 2007 Mediabase Peak: #13 Billboard Peak: #14
Artist: Josh Turner Single: "Firecracker" Writers: Shawn Camp, Pat McLaughlin, Josh Turner Album: Everything Is Fine Label: MCA Nashville Video Director: Peter Zavadil Year Released: June 25, 2007 Mediabase Peak: #2 Billboard Peak: #2
Artist: Little Big Town Single: "A Little More You" Writers: Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Roads, Jimi Westbrook, Wayne Kirkpatrick Album: The Road To Here Label: Equity Music Group Video Director: Roger Pistole Year Released: February 19, 2007 Mediabase Peak: #19 Billboard Peak: #20
Artist: Flynnville Train Single: "Nowhere Than Somewhere" Writers: Brent Rodgers, Craig Wiseman Album: Flynnville Train Label: Show Dog Nashville Video Director: Stan Morse Year Released: June 11, 2007 Mediabase Peak: #47 Billboard Peak: #50
2007 was a event fulled year for country music. Probably the biggest event was the amazing debut for Garth Brooks' single "More Than A Memory". The song debuted at #1 on Billboard and #4 on Mediabase. After it would settle down towards the bottom of the top 10 it would crawl back up to #2 before the end of the year. The year started with Brad Paisley's "She's Everything" being #1 and finished with "Our Song" by Taylor Swift being #1. Th longest stay at the top spot this year was held by two songs on Mediabase. Both of Kenny Chesney's first two releases off his Just Who I Am: Poets And Pirates album spent 5 weeks at #1. "Never Wanted Nothing More" was first in July, and "Don't Blink" was in late October (Though it should be noted that "Don't Blink" only spent 4 weeks at #1 on Billboard). The song that finished #1 for the year though was "Watching You" by Rodney Atkins.
We would also see the comeback singles from both Trisha Yearwood and The Eagles. Trisha had been off the radio for nearly two years before "Heaven, Heartache, And The Power Of Love", while The Eagles hadn't made a full studio album in 28 years. They hit the top 25 with "How Long". Some of the debut artists we saw this year was Bucky Covington, Lee Brice, Flynnville Train, Stephen Cochran, Sarah Johns, Chuck Wicks, Cole Deggs and the Lonesome, Halfway To Hazard, and Luke Bryan.
Decided to try and diversify my selections. Tried to have a top 10 hit, and top 20 hit, and a lower peaking single as well. Along with having a male, female, and group covered. Hope I picked some good videos. "Famous In A Small Town" might still be my favorite from Miranda. I unfortunately never hear "Firecracker" anymore by a great vocalist in Josh. Same goes for "A Little More You" which was a great step back for me to that summer of 2007 hearing that one on the radio. Finally Flynnville Train I saw live when they opened for Toby and was very impressed. This is my favorite song from their only album with Show Dog. Their debut single was earlier that spring with "Last Good Time".

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Love and Theft Single: "Runaway Writers: Robert Blackledge, Stephen Barker Liles, Canaan Smith Album: World Wide Open Label: Carolwood Video Director: Kristin Barlowe Year Released: March 16, 2009 Mediabase Peak: #10 Billboard Peak: #10
Love and Theft started out as a trio back in 2006. The three of them (Stephen Barker Liles, Eric Gunderson, Brian Bandas) decided to share lead vocals. After performing at small venues in Nashville, they landed a show in front of ASCAP executives who decided to recommend them to Lyric Street Records. After meeting with the head of the label, they were signed to Lyric Street's sister label named Carolwood Records. Their debut single "Runaway" was released as a spring/summer single in 2009. The song would manage to climb all the way to the top 10, were it squeaked out one week at #10 in October. The song was off their debut album World Wide Open. The only other single from the album was "Dancing In Circles" which peaked at #24 on Mediabase in the spring of 2010. Unfortunately Disney closed Lyric Street for good in 2010, leaving numerous artist without a label on both Lyric, and Carolwood including Love and Theft. It was in between record deals when Brian Bandas decided to leave the group.
They were able to land another deal with RCA in 2011 as a duo. The first single "Angel Eyes" was released in late 2011 and induced a slow climb up the charts, but by the spring of 2012, the song had picked up enough steam to become a huge hit. It made it to #1 and was easily one of the biggest singles of 2012. The song was off their self-titled sophomore album. The follow up "Runnin' Out Of Air" though only peaked at #32 on Mediabase in early 2013, and the third single "If You Ever Get Lonely" peaked at #33 on Mediabase. The duo will release a brand new single to country radio next moth called "Night That You'll Never Forget" which will be off a new studio album.
"Runaway" is my favorite Love and Theft song and easily in my top 10 singles for all of 2009. I actually have enjoyed all 6 of their singles so far, especially "Dancing In Circles", "If You Ever Get Lonely", and "Night That You'll Never Forget". "Runnin' Out Of Air" was the only one I was hesitant on, but eventually grew on me. I wish that Brian Bandas had stuck with them, but to luckily their music hasn't faltered all that much. "Run a parallel line with the railroad tracks" is one of my favorite lyrics ever. Really the entire chorus is nearly impossible not to sing along to.

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Martina McBride Single: "Whatever You Say" Writers: Ed Hill, Tony Martin Album: Evolution Label: RCA Nashville Video Director: Deaton-Flanigen Year Released: February 22, 1999 Billboard Peak: #2
Martina McBride released "Whatever You Say" as the fifth and final single from her Evolution album in early 1999. The previous four singles from the album were "A Broken Wing" (#1), "Valentine" f/Jim Brickman (#9), "Happy Girl" (#2), and "Wrong Again" (#1). The song would finish at #17 on Billboard's 1999 year end chart. The follow up to "Whatever You Say" was "I Love You" (#1) from Martina's Emotion album. The song was written by Ed Hill and Tony Martin. Hill is a well respected writer that has had many single credits including "It Matters To Me" by Faith Hill, "Georgia Rain" by Trisha Yearwood, "Somebody's Hero" by Jamie O'Neal, "Songs About Me" and "Just Fishin'" by Trace Adkins, "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" by Tracy Lawrence, "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls" by George Strait, and "Spoken Like A Man" by Blaine Larsen. Tony Martin has also written many singles including "Ain't What It Used To Be" by Megan Mullins, "Third Rock From The Sun" by Joe Diffie, and "Just To See You Smile" by Tim McGraw.
One of my favorites by Martina. The only other song I might have liked more from her was "Cry On The Shoulder Of The Road". Unfortunately for me, she had "I Love You" follow which is easily my least favorite Martina song. Most of the songs I enjoyed from her were pre 2005. I wasn't the biggest fan of songs such as "Teenage Daughters", "How I Feel", "Ride" and "I Just Call You Mine". I would love though for her to come back with a strong presence at country radio again.

Just to comment on yesterday's, I love "Runaway". One of my favorites, and easily the best Love and Theft song to date IMO.

Random Album Cut Of The Day:
Artist: George Strait Song: "One Step at a Time" Writers: Earl Clark, Luke Reed Album: One Step at a Time Label: MCA Nashville Release Year: 1998 Producers: Tony Brown, George Strait
"One Step at a Time" is not only my favorite album cut from King George but one of my favorite songs from him, period. It is the title track from his 1998 album, which reached #1 on the country album chart and #2 on the Billboard 200, eventually achieving double-platinum status (his last studio album to do so). There were 3 singles from the album: "I Just Want to Dance with You" (#1), "True" (#2), and "We Really Shouldn't Be Doing This" (#4). This isn't to be confused with his similarly titled "One Night at a Time," his #1-peaking lead single from Carrying Your Love with Me in 1997.

^Again, another great selection Old Fart In NC. I always enjoy putting this one on from time to time. "Maria" and the almost single "You Haven't Left Me Yet" are great album cuts (as are "Why Not Now," "Remember The Alamo," and "That's The Breaks" and...heck this entire album is great. I remember reading back then that the album almost wasn't called One Step At A Time, though, as George almost named it True from the #2 hit single (four weeks it spent in that position I believe!).

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Dwight Yoakam Single: Intentional Heartache" Writers: Dwight Yoakam Album: Blame The Vain Label: New West/Columbia Video Director: Dwight Yoakam Year Released: May, 2005 Radio And Records Peak: #51 Billboard Peak: #54
Dwight Yoakam from the mid 80's through the early 90's was one of country music's biggest hit makers. The 57 year old was born in Pikeville, Kentucky. After a failed run at Nashville, Dwight moved to Los Angeles to try and market his style of country to a broader audience. He was able to finance his own debut EP called Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc, Etc. through independent Oak Records. He would soon catch the attention of Reprise Records and they would launch a full album of the EP in 1986 with the remake of Johnny Horton's "Honky Tonk Man" (#3) has is debut single. His follow up would be "Guitars, Cadillacs" (#4), and the album would be closed out with "I Won't Hurt" (#31). Dwight would land twelve top 10 singles over the next 7 years including "Little Sister" (#7), "Streets Of Bakersfield" (#1) with Buck Owens, "I Sang Dixie" (#1), "It Only Hurts When I Cry" (#7), and "Fast As You" (#1)to name but a few.
His success in the 90's would slow down with just three to 20's to his credit from 1995 to the present day ("Nothing", "Things Change", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"). He would move to Audium for his Population Me album in 2003, and Blame The Vain was off New West/Columbia. His latest album was with his former parent label Warner Bros. entitled 3 Pears in 2012. Dwight has also been a credited film actor, appearing in movies such as Sling Blade, Panic Room, Hollywood Homicide, Crank, and Wedding Crashers. He also had a reccuring role of Bruce in FX's Wilfred.
"Intentional Heartache" was the first single off Blame The Vain, and was a regular throughout June and July of 2005 on Radio And Records New And Active. Dwight is one of the few I've seen that wrote, sand and directed the music video himself. The song would only reach just over 20 stations that year and the follow up "Blame The Vain" would only reach #58, while the albums last single "I Wanna Love Again" never charted. Dwight Yoakam's music was first brought to my attention by my Dad, but I never fully took to it till I got older. For some reason this song made it click for me, and I decided to go back to his earlier material, and it was very good. Maybe my favorite is still "Guitars, Cadillacs".

If I recall correctly, "Intentional Heartache" was my introduction to Dwight (with the exception of maybe a couple radio recurrents like "Guitars, Cadillacs" and "Fast as You"). Since then he's become one of my favorite artists. Great pick.

Random Single Of The Day:
Artist: Steve Holy Single: "Come On Rain" Writers: Pat Bunch, Doug Johnson Album: Brand New Girlfriend Label: Curb Year Released: October, 2006 Mediabase Peak: #36 Billboard Peak: #35
Steve Holy is a 42 year old singer from Dallas, Texas. Steve auditioned at the Mesquite Opry in Dallas. LeAnn Rimes' father Wibur was in attendance that day and saw him live. He soon would ask Curb to look into Steve, and by the late 90's he would officially sign to the label. His debut single was "Don't Make Me Beg" in late 1999. The song would peak at #29. He would then have back to back #24 singles ("Blue Moon", "The Hunger"). But it was the final single from his debut album Blue Moon that would make his name well known to country fans. "Good Morning Beautiful" was released in July of 2001 and would spend 5 weeks at #1 and finish at #4 on Billboard's year end chart for 2002. It was at this time however that Steve would become one of the Curb artist that was joked upon in regards to his inability to get a successful single or album out. He would have 5 singles from 2002 to 2005 with no album. It started with "I'm Not Breakin'" (#27), followed by "Rock-A-Bye Heart" (#37), "Put Your Best Dress On" (#26), "Go Home" (#43 on Radio and Records), and "It's My Time (Waste It If I Want To) (#52 on Radio and Records).
In January of 2006, Curb released the Jeffrey Steele co-write "Brand New Girlfriend" to country radio. After a sporadic chart run that winter, including a week where the song would lose 7 positions #43-#50 and barely retain it's bullet; The single caught fire and soared up the charts that spring. It peaked at #1 in September of 2006, and it took 36 weeks to get there. "Come On Rain" would be the second single from Brand New Girlfriend, but couldn't continue Steve's momentum and peak at #35 on Billboard in early 2007. "Men Buy The Drinks (Girls Call The Shots)" would be the third single, peaking at #38 in the late summer of that year. After two unsuccessful singles ("Might Have Been" (#56), "Baby Don't Go" (DNC)), he would have his most recent top 40 single "Love Don't Run" (#19) in 2011. His last three singles have been "Until The Rain Stops" (#57), "Hauled Off And Kissed Me" (#55), and "Radio Up" (DNC).
"Come On Rain" was co-written by Pat Bunch, who also co-wrote "Wild One" by Faith Hill, "I'll Still Be Loving You" by Restless Heart, "Living In A Moment" by Ty Herndon, "She Didn't Have Time" by Terri Clark, and "Better I Don't" by Chris Janson. Doug Johnson also is a well credited songwriter and has many songs of his own like "Love Like Crazy" by Lee Brice, and "Three Wooden Crosses" by Randy Travis. My two favorite Steve Holy songs are still "Go Home", and "It's My Time (Waste It If I Want To)". "Brand New Girlfriend" is a guilty pleasure as well. But "Come On Rain" is a very underrated song by him and I was fairly surprised it flamed out when it cracked the top 40, especially following up a huge #1 hit. I also find it pretty hilarious he is still on Curb records after 15 years and so many failed single attempts.

If Steve Holy were a bigger name like Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, and Jo Dee Messina, he would be out of Curb. I still can not decide who is the bigger devil in Nashville: Mike Curb or Scott Borchetta.

Anything-But-Random Video for April Fool's Day:
Artist: Lee Ann Womack Single: "The Fool" Writers: Marla Cannon-Goodman, Gene Ellsworth, Charlie Stefl Album: Lee Ann Womack Label: Decca Nashville Video Director: Gerry Wenner Year Released: 1997 Billboard Peak: #2
"The Fool" was the second single from Lee Ann Womack's self-titled debut album, following up the excellent "Never Again, Again," which reached #23. "The Fool" peaked at #2, as did the follow-up, "You've Got to Talk to Me." After the fourth and final single, "Buckaroo," stopped at #27, the first two singles from her second album, Some Things I Know ("A Little Past Little Rock" and "I'll Think Of a Reason Later") also reached #2, giving her a streak of four #2's out of five singles. The third and fourth singles from the album missed the Top 10, but then came her biggest success. The title track and lead single from her third album, "I Hope You Dance," (featuring Sons of the Desert) became a crossover smash. It reached #1 on the country chart (her only #1), #1 AC, and #14 Hot 100. It achieved Platinum certification (her only single to be certified Gold or Platinum) and won a Grammy Award for Best Country Song and was nominated for Song of the Year. It also won CMA and ACM Song of the Year honors. The follow-up, "Ashes by Now," reached #4. That song was written by Rodney Crowell, whose own version had previously reached #37 on the Hot 100 and #78 on the country chart in 1981. Unfortunately, Lee Ann's chart success then started to wane. She ha only one Top 10 hit since then, "I May Hate Myself in the Morning" (#10 in 2004). Her last Top 40 song was the non-album single "There Is a God" (#32 in 2009). In a major crime against humanity Lee Ann has not released an album since 2008 or a single since 2009. All told she has 21 Top 40 songs, 7 of which made the Top 10.

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Jamie O'Neal Single: "Somebody's Hero" Writers: Jamie O'Neal, Shaye Smith, Ed Hill Album: Brave Label: Capitol Nashville Video Director: Trey Fanjoy Year Released: April 4th, 2005 Radio And Records Peak: #3 Billboard Peak: #3
"Somebody's Hero" was the second single from Jamie O'Neal's second studio album Brave, and first for Capitol Nashville. It was released in April of 2005, and would spend roughly 7 months on the singles chart, reaching a peak of #3 in October. "Somebdy's Hero" would be the final time she would get a top 10 single, and the second to last time she would get a top 40 single ("I Love My Life" (#26) would follow in late 2005). The song was co-written with Shaye Smith and Ed Hill. The two wrote Trace Adkin's hit that year "Songs About Me", and also wrote along with Jamie O'Neal, "How Far" by Martina McBride. Jamie will have a new album due out in May called Eternal.
The music video was directed by Trey Fanjoy. She is one of the top music video director's in country music. Her very first directed video was in 1997 when she teamed up with The Buffalo Club for their single "Heart Hold On" (#53). Since then some of her nearly 200 credits include "Amazed", "Prayin' For Daylight", "A Good Day To Run", "Brokenheartsville", "Speed", "It's Five O' Clock Somewhere", "He Gets That From Me", "Nothin' To Lose", "You're My Better Half", "Kerosene", "XXL", "Our Song", "Trying To Stop Your Leaving", "The Call", "The House That Built Me", "Just Fishin'", "Long Hot Summer", and her latest "Automatic".

Great pick, Old Fart In NC. It just doesn't get any better than Lee Ann Womack. More music from her can't come soon enough. Also a great pick, sabre14. I love the third verse - the daughter and mother swapping positions as the daughter takes care of her elderly mother is a very nice touch.

''The Fool'' is a great tune. I really need to get more into Lee Ann Womack. I've only heard one of her greatest hits but loved every second of it. Also, I'm not sure if I had ever heard the song "Somebody's Hero" before. Great song, though. I agree with what andythedrifter said. Very sweet song.

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Dan Seals Single: "Bop" Writers: Paul Davis, Jennifer Kimball Album: Won't Be Blue Anymore Label: EMI America Video Director: George Bloom Year Released: October, 1985 Billboard Peak: #1
Dan Seals was a country pop artist from Rankin, Texas. After high school he joined longtime friend John Coley, and formed the group England Dan and John Ford Coley. The duo would go on to have four top 10 pop singles and two other top 25 singles throughout the 70's. Seals would soon go his separate ways, and became a country pop artist in 1980. Dan would see no singles from his debut solo album Stones (under his name England Dan) chart on the country singles chart but did mange a few top 100 Billboard appearances. His second album Harbinger did not see any charting singles as well. But in 1983 he signed with Capitol and finally would see success with his pop style country. His first charting single "Everybody's Dream Girl" would peak at #18, but his first top 10 hit would be the final single from his Rebel Heart album entitled "God Must Be A Cowboy" (#10). The song would start an impressive streak of 16 straight top 10 singles, and 9 #1 singles within that time. His first #1 was "Meet Me In Montana" with Marie Osmond in 1985. His second was his crossover hit "Bop" in late 1985, early 1986. Some of his other #1's included "Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)", "Three Time Loser", "One Friend", and "Big Wheels In The Moonlight".
By the early 90's however Seals' pop style of country saw a decline in demand, and he would not have a top 40 single after his song "Good Times" went #1 in 1990. The highest charting single for him in the decade was "Mason Dixon Line" (#43) in 1992. Dan would make two albums with Warner Bros., then an album for Intersound Records in 1995 called In A Quiet Room, and another for TDC Records in 1998 called In A Quiet Room II. His final album was Make It Home for Lightyear Records in 2002. Unfortunately Dan Seals would fall ill to mantle cell lymphoma in 2008, and passed away in March of 2009.
I first heard "Bop" in 2003 on WYRK's short lived All-Time favorites weekend. I had no idea who sang it but I know that it was one of my favorites I heard that night. "Bop" is still my favorite song from Dan, with "One Friend" being a close second. If I recall, "One Friend" was the milestone hit from Bob Kingsley's countdown after Seals had died. His style of country was very successful in those times as the likes of Eddie Rabbit, Kenny Rogers, and Dan Seals dominated the charts with a pop leaning country music. In the early 90's there would be an influx of more traditional artists like Alan Jackson, Clint Black, and Travis Tritt. It was very sad to see Dan pass away in 2009, and was far too early to see him go.

^Bop reminds me of Paul Davis' biggest pop hit, "65 Love Affair." Probably not surprising since Davis co-wrote "Bop."

^ Paul Davis actually passed away one year before Dan in 2008. They both were born in 1948 as well.

^ Paul Davis actually passed away one year before Dan in 2008. They both were born in 1948 as well. I had covered Bop by Dan Seals in my weekly column in January, 2012 (during the 26th anniversary of the song hitting #1). I had also covered the death of its songwriter, Paul Davis earlier this year when I saluted the vocal collaboration, I Won't Take Less Than Your Love between Tanya Tucker, Davis, and Paul Overstreet. Sabre14 and I chose the same Bop video!

Adam Gregory is a Canadian country singer/songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. Adam made three albums in Canada with great success before signing a record deal in the U.S with Midas Records in 2007. His debut American single was "Crazy Days" in April of 2008. During "Crazy Days" chart run he co-signed with Big Machine Records. Since then he has made another studio album in Canada entitled Different Places in 2012. In all Adam has sent 18 singles to Canadian country radio. His debut was "Horseshoes" in 2000. He also released a single called "When I Leave This House" in 2003 with some help from Billy Ray Cyrus.

I wanted to post something here the other day in remembrance of my mother, which even after nine years seems like yesterday. To anyone who has lost their parents too young, this random video is for y'all. This has always been one of my favorite songs by Carlene Carter.
