I've overused this but IDGAF: I need some new music from her, Strip Me was such a great album.

That picture alone would already make a great album cover.

I was listening to Strip Me at work today and wondering when we would get something new from her. She's no longer with Epic so I suspect she's independent now. I'm excited regardless.

Oh no! No label!! Well, whatever, TashBed can do WTF she wants and I will still purchase. I will never forgot how she almost brought me to tears when I saw her at a small theater and she performed Purple Rain. One of the premier live vocalists of her generation and extremely underrated. SWIMMING POOOOL!!

OMG YAY!!!!!!!!!! Strip Me is one of the best albums I've ever heard, and I was so sad it underperformed.

All three/four of her albums are absolutely amazing. Excited for her return! It still pains me that nothing from Strip Me caught on. Especially "Touch." That song was literally flawless. "Weightless" and "Neon Lights" were smashes as well. It also saddens me that "Angel" and "Single" flopped in the US and "Piece of Your Heart" was never a single and omg, she just has bad luck.

I always felt it was too "urban" for pop programmers to play it seriously even though Natasha has some serious soul in her pipes.

The one great thing about the album was the many tie-ins it had in advertising, so it felt like I was hearing Natasha for like a whole 2 years after the album's release. I thought Strip Me was pretty subpar compared to the perfection that was Pocketful of Sunshine. I wonder if she'll try to work with another major label this time or actually stay independent (her mainstream stuff was always much more listenable IMO).

I thought PoS and Strip Me were both a step down from the one before it, but they both have grown on me. I wish SM had been more successful though, just so new music would be more certain. Sometimes it's hard to listen to her pre-SM stuff, not because any less amazing, just because I've played it all to death.

i thought Strip Me was horrible except for 2 or 3 songs. Pocket Full of Sunshine was great though. i suspent this next album will be terrible without a label guiding her.

^She very much seems like an artist that needs label direction to polish her music, kind of like Nelly Furtado.

I really loved Strip Me with the exception of a couple of songs. All of her albums have been incredible to me. I do agree though, she needed some more/better direction and there really weren't any incredibly single-worthy songs on there except maybe "Weightless" and they waited to release that til 3rd and they kind of just tossed it out there with no promo. On second thought, I wonder if it even got an official release.

Sounds like it has a lot of potential! The production sounds pretty decent.
Also, the Chicane remix of "Angel" is a complete bop, I've been listening to it regularly since it came out. Posted for those who haven't heard it since it totally destroys the original for me.

I heard Strip Me in Bed, Bath & Beyond on Friday and it made me wonder how long before we get new music from her. I adore her.

That way they can still recoup some of their losses from the project

One of the best live vocalists I have EVER seen. When she did Purple Rain during the Strip Me show, I almost started bawling like a baby.
