I love it. Capitol outmuscled Republic Nashville for their artist.

I'd love for "This Is How We Roll" to not hit #1 on either chart, but unfortunately I don't find "Play It Again" to be any better. I hate both songs almost equally, so I really don't care what happens here. I'm not a fan of either song, but I would definitely prefer "Play It Again" to stay at #1 if it kept FGL out of the record books.

Is anybody else having troubles accessing the Billboard RTT? I couldn't access it yesterday and I just tried again now but still no luck. I keep getting a page saying "Oops! Google Chrome could not find the [webpage]". I have the link bookmarked in my favorites: cclamp.radioandrecords.com/RRWebSite20/My guess is that the url either underwent a slight adjustment or the site is just experiencing some technical difficulties...or, it could be that we've finally lost the RTT for good. I sure hope not. It's not in real-time anymore, but even just the once-a-day update was very nice to have. I'm guessing "Play It Again" is still tracking #1 but unless anyone else is able to get on or solve the issue I'm having, I can't be sure.

Well I don't have access to the Billboard tracker either today so all I can do is take kml567's word for it but Luke has leapfrogged FGL for the Mediabase #1. "This Is How We Roll" is still barely edging "Play It Again" on spins but has blown past them in audience (about 2.2 million) gaining more total points in the process Hopefully Capitol will keep pushing this as hard as possible through tomorrow to assure the top position on both charts. I really don't like Luke's song but anything to block "This Is How We Roll" from being #1 on either chart will be fine by me.

Hopefully they don't shut down this website also.

Luke managed to make it to #1 by a mere 87 points @ Mediabase, so I expect him to start sinking tomorrow, clearing the way for FGL to rise to #1.

PIA going to #1 means we can finally hear "Roller Coaster" as the next radio single. Best country sounding song he's released since "Do I".

He said that Luke shot a video for it already. The song to me is the best option at this point and is easily the best thing on this album. It's not official but I really would be surprised if it wasn't next, with or without the allegedly video shoot.

I'd much prefer "We Run This Town" or "Dirt Road Diary", but "Roller Coaster" is another good option. It seems to be a huge fan (or maybe just Pulse) favourite, too.
"Play It Again" has turned into quite the monster hit. I never thought it'd block FGL from #1, but that could end up being how this plays out. It would be quite something if he could hang on to #1 until Miranda Lambert is ready.

I think Luke will get a 3rd week at #1 then Brett Eldredge takes over. Because of the new Miranda/Carrie duet I don't think Automatic will make it to #1 based on this morning's update.

A "#1 and going strong" ad in tonight's Aircheck Weekly. Looks like Capitol is going for a 3rd week at #1 on BB and a 2nd week at #1 on MB, and I don't blame them. This song likely won't be able to improve much (if at all) on its current audience total, but on Billboard it's 6.5 million ahead of Brett and a full 8 million ahead of Miranda. Even if PIA starts falling this week, that's probably too much ground for the others to catch up. I can see Luke losing 2 mil or so and still hanging on to #1 quite easily.
Anyway, I was surprised to see this one over 49 million on BB. I'm wondering if new audience estimates came back from Nielsen BDS (I know they did for MB recently), resulting in a slight uptick all across the board? Most of the higher-ranking songs are about 1-2 million higher than I would've guessed based on my projections, which were based off previous ratios of MB to BB audience. I had Luke projecting to about 47.5 million, so 49 came as a surprise. For another example I had Joe Nichols' "Yeah" projecting to just over 20.2 million and he came in a hair below 22 million.
Just an observation, that there may have been a slight adjustment. Either that, or the MB to BB ratios were a bit better and somewhat unusually higher this past week. Definitely a possibility that I just underestimated with my projections :)

"We Run This Town" or "I See You" will be released, if they send something else from the album (and they should). I honestly think "Goodbye Girl" would be pretty cool to hear on radio but these seem like the obvious choices. I don't see "Dirt Road Diaries" being sent to radio

Roller. Coaster. That is all. I don't mind that one either. :) I just think if they wanted to release "Dirt Road Diaries" they'd have done that when his tour was called that (since it's now something else).

I like "Dirt Road Diaries" and "We Run This Town" well enough, but I'm 100% with carriekins. "Roller Coaster" is a fantastic song and to me it would be Luke's best single since his debut album. It also sounds absolutely stellar on the radio, and is a perfect end of summer song. Do the right thing Capitol.

I don't see "Dirt Road Diaries" being sent to radio We Run This Town is too generic and boring in my opinion. Roller Coaster makes the most sense and is the best song on the whole album in my opinion. I See You Is pretty strong too though, and is one of the few edgier and more rocking songs on the album, so I could see that getting released as well.

All in all, I'm sure Capitol has little regrets releasing it.

I'm probably the only one that feels this way or even thinks this but IMO Luke deciding to release TMKON as a single will end up hurting his career. Up until he released that song, I was a casual fan of his music. I loved every single he released from Tailgates and Tanlines. That song completely turned me off from him and his music and left me with a whole different impression of him as an Artist.

I miss the Luke Bryan between 2007-2011 with his first two CDs, I'll Stay Me and Doin' My Thing. That time stretches from All My Friends Say in 2007 to when Someone Else Calling You Baby peaked in early 2011. Tailgates & Tanlines was a transitional CD for Bryan, meaning his style began to change with that CD.
