I like it. It's not as good as "Counting Stars" obviously, but I hope it does well.

Both career-saving singles belonged on alternative in my books too. Honestly, I feel like they would have made several appearances on alternative if "Stop And Stare" came before "Apologize" and if each of the past two albums' 3rd singles were the lead singles. I really can't wait for their next album's first two singles to flop though, because I expect another amazing 3rd single

Sent to AAA for airplay today according to Play IGA. I can't believe they're still going with "Native". I haven't been to a OneRepublic thread in the pop forum in awhile...are all of those fools still crying about how "If I Lose Myself" flopped and if re-released would be guaranteed to be the most successful and popular song in the history of the universe. EVER?

EVER? With how busy he is, I think Ryan would have to clone himself to have another album already done by now! To expand on this and answer your next point, we've mostly moved on from IILM while also recognizing that the album still has two or three more suitable single options left in it; now that "Counting Stars" and "Love Runs Out" have given them two hits in a year and seemingly ended their odd streak of singles that take forever to climb, I think it's a good plan to let Native run its course with a few more singles while they're on a hot streak.

EVER? lmao they're over that now. It did undeservedly flop, but it still wouldn't work if re-released. But why not milk the hell out of this album? It's a great album with numerous potential singles still left.

Fair enough. I've just always found the "If I Lose Myself" stanning to be ridiculous. It's a decent song, but it's pretty much a "Say (All I Need)" clone, and I don't see how anyone could think it would tear it up on a re-release.

I prefer the first two, although I find "Counting Stars" to be their best song by a significant margin. Even in the singles... Apologize: A- Stop & Stare: B Say (All I Need): C+ Mercy: B+ All The Right Moves: B Secrets: B+ Good Life: A- Feel Again: B- If I Lose Myself: C Counting Stars: A+ Love Runs Out: B- I Lived: C

I've liked this one since I first heard the album. I have no problem with milking the album, who says there has to be a limit on an era?
