On my Bedtime Stories tip today. I LOVE Urban Madonna. i lbegan to appreciate the album with time. In fact it has two of my favorite tracks ever on it. Secret and Human Nature. I'm sure some may disagree but I Have to admit that I loved Take a Bow at first but it seems dated to me now.

I'm not sensitive but just saying, your comment was tasteless though IMO, and I am pretty sure you only did it to get a reaction out of people. Madonna has done far more for those two children then anyone else could or would have done. Well, some have called comments or things Madonna has done tasteless but...of course none of her stans here would dare even THINK such a thing. Nothing I said was outside of the realm of good taste, but a mere observation. Take that as you will but please do not deign to question my motives or make assumptions. I don't know how many times I can praise this woman's albums as I have done in the past before some people in this thread can stop questioning my motives, but of course, you are not sensitive at all! Anyway, as this thread is about Madonna and Madonna alone, I'm not sure how one could make the statement that she has done far more for David and Mercy than anyone else could or would have done. I'm sure there are other celebrities who have adopted even MORE children from underprivileged countries (Angelina Jolie immediately springs to mind) and yet, they are not posing for questionable photo ops. Let's not make Madonna out to be a saint or Mother Theresa for the simple act of adoption, LOL. As for the music and Rebel Heart: aside from juvenile lyrics, Heartbreak City has grown on me, especially the vocals. The warmest, most genuine lyrics she has put on this record. I am coming around to the "heart" songs more (although I have a hard time distinguishing them from the "rebel" songs, as it sounds like some are intertwined) but I have a weakness for the beats and the overall wackiness of the "rebel" songs. Madonna has had so many cringeworthy moments, like have other pop Icons, like everyone else, I am not here to judge them or anyone else. Do you read what I write or are you just stuck in your own little bubble or maybe I am just not understanding you(cause girl it is way too hot today in Georgia), but she has done far more for David and Mercy than anyone else has, how can I not make that statement, I don't see Angelina Jolie doing anything for them. You get where I am going with this. Madonna loves instragram, so do millions of people so why not post photos, I don't think Angelina has an account otherwise she would be posting stuff about her kids as well. No one said Madonna is a saint, she is far from it but she does good when she can. She spoke about gay rights when no one else would, she has done alot of work with AIDS charities way before it became a cool thing to do etc. Anyways, I think a tall drink of something awaits me at his house. Okay bye.

I don't think Wendy was wrong it just that many feel Madonna does this stuff to stir the pot. I don't think I have seen her other kids massaging her feet, bringing her food or anything of that nature. Those kids are cute tho!

Do you read what I write or are you just stuck in your own little bubble or maybe I am just not understanding you Actually, you are not understanding your own posts because you said that Madonna has done more for David and Mercy that anyone else COULD or WOULD. This would imply that no one else has the capacity (moral, financial, emotional, etc.) to adopt and raise these children or even worse, if they could, they would not. What exactly would lead you to make that assumption because, like I have already proven, others have. For David and Mercy, particularly? Of course not, but...my point stands. Anyway, I would only ask that when addressing me, you refrain from personal attacks. You can disagree with me without stooping to using phrases like "lame-ass" or "tasteless" to describe me or my posts or calling me outside of my gender. Thanks. Although, I'm glad you are #livingforlove today, tasting that holy water, working at the body shop, etc.

Diplo in new interview with Rolling Stone You co-produced several songs on Madonna's new one, including her new single. What do you make of the ageism she faces? She created the world we live in. It already sucks to be a woman in the music industry, but to be a boss woman is even harder. She sold out her tour in minutes, but no one seems to want her to succeed — "Madonna, we've been there, done that, now we're about Kim Kardashian." Her song "Ghosttown" was a guaranteed Number One for anybody else, but she didn't get a fair shot. With "Bitch I'm Madonna," everyone said there's no way it will go anywhere, but I'm like, "Screw it, it represents you more than anything." In what world is Ghosttown a guaranteed Number One for anyone else though? Oh Diplo...he really needs to keep his mouth shut. Madonna is not even trying to get #1s now because she knows the current climate and the types of artists who get #1s these days. Let her speak for herself. She doesn't need protecting, especially from the likes of Douchelo.

Good for her. That video is great! OMG, S.E.X just came on. This song pops up on my phone on shuffle like once a day, which is crazy given how many songs are on my phone.

I am sorry if you felt as though I was personally attacking you.
But that conversation needs to be laid to rest, btw pretty witty line( I'm glad you are #livingforlove today, tasting that holy water, working at the body shop, etc.), loved it. :)

A) we should be able to have fun (within reason) on this board and B) like I said, I own a lot of her music and support her musical output. I am not always on board with the way she depicts certain things or whatever and when I see those things, I will make comments but it's harmless. I'm not showing up to her NYC apt, throwing eggs and picketing LOL. Plus, I would make similar comments in ANY one's thread if I felt the spirit. I don't discriminate just because Mariah is my favorite artist. I think I have proven that. So yeah, roll with it like your Queen would do. I won't deny (nor could I) deny that she is one of the most resilient, toughest women in the music biz and so much stuff rolls off of her, even though she's not Joan of Arc. She has to have a thick skin to still be putting herself out there, 30 years later.

If anyone, stan,, fan, or not, remotely questions the love between a family based on a picture and you've not met them or even know them personally, YOU are insensitive and extremely narrow minded. Sorry, I just had to speak what I feel. If you disagree with this, I will not even bother with you.

How much time have you spent with Madonna and her family to even be attacking others for making comments. Just wondering. I mean...maybe you are her personal assistant and I'm missing something but if you are, I would think you have a tour to help prepare.

^Why u so obsessed? You seem to be well-meaning but this is a losing battle...go to the Donald Trump thread if you're really looking to out a racist because "our queen" is just showing she loves her kids and that they love her. Maybe unintended racism is evident in the self-loathing of those divas who desperately straighten their natural curls and slice off their noses in their failed attempts to look like something they are not by birth. But Madonna has always been true to herself and embraced other cultures and races as they are.

OMG....Please tell me a foot rubbing did not turn into Madonna being Joan Crawford? Or was it about something else that I'm not aware of?
I have to say I'm somewhat letdown because you guys took something so basic and innocent and made a big deal of it when you could have been talking about how rude and inappropriate Madonna is in theatre settings!
Im going to hold my judgement on her motherhood since I believe most who adopt do not do it for sinister reasons until when or if David or Mercy are left out of the will and write a Mommie Dearest!

The fire, passion and urgency of ITG exemplify why her music is a cut above the rest. She is the most exciting artist ever, sonically and visually.

Borderline came on in the supermarket last night and I audibly said "Yaaas!" (I'm in Hells Kitchen, it's far more common to hear that than you might think). Get it Madonna and Amish Market!
