Been listening to Ray Of Light on repeat this past week. I just never get tired of it, it's such a masterpiece. Those opening notes of "Drowned World" set the tone of the album so perfectly. The album just gets me in the mood for Spring and takes me on a journey that no album has done since...
I have such vivid memories attached to this album. I still remember being 16 years old and buying it the day it came out at Future Shop. lol. I've since bought two more copies and even scored the reflective digipak special edition too (which I've kept sealed). Now I need the vinyl! Same. I have the vinyl and while it's nice, for me this album is best experienced without having to stop every 3 or 4 songs to flip or switch records. The journey is real with this album, I just prefer mine without all the pit stops.

Apparently some comments on her Instagram are pissed that Madonna is working with Starrah and Billboard on her new album. Billboard produced Ghosttown ( need I say more ) and Starrah wrote Swish Swish , Havana and has worked with artist the Weeknd, Rihanna, Calvin Harris,Halsey, Maroon 5 and more. I say bring it on. http://instagram.com/p/BeHQ8yZh--c

I have always loved this performance of "Ray of Light" on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Two things: 1)she clearly has a little help on the vocals, as I have never heard her sing this song so well live 2)it cracks me up that whenever Oprah senses that the camera is on her, she suddenly starts singing and dancing.
Here is her performance of Little Star.

I've always loved that ROL performance too! The crowd is SO into it. For it being a talk show performance, its actually really nicely edited/directed. Love the lighting, the wind machine, the whole thing.
