The full Without You performance... It's great!! The lipping is far more convincing on this song than others. It sounds very consistent.

YDKWTD is such a jam..I really wish it had followed #Beautiful and had received the promo that YM(E) received prior to the album launch. It deserves to have been heard by more people.

Ebony ran a great article on Mariah's career that you can read here. I am going to highlight these two parts:

The irony is that she has never won in the rap/sung collaboration category either.

The irony is that she has never won in the rap/sung collaboration category either. She hasn't even been nominated, but to be fair the category came about after his biggest collaborations were released. "Breakdown" and "Heartbreaker" would have been her best shots in the '90s ("Fantasy" with ODB was a remix and likely not eligible). I was surprised "I Know What You Want" didn't get a Rap/Sung nod, but other than that she hasn't had a big hit with a rapper since the category was introduced.

The Acclaimed Music site had its annual update. Her overall artist rank dropped to 1,099 (I think it was in the 700s with the last update). I don't have the previous rankings from the last update handy.
Two of her albums- Butterfly and The Emancipation of Mimi are "bubbling under" the top 3,000 albums.
These are her song rankings (top 6,000): 3,238. Fantasy 4,394. Dreamlover 4,727. We Belong Together 4,817. Vision of Love 5,184. #Beautiful 5,660. One Sweet Day 5,991. Emotions
Songs- Bubbling Under Honey Heartbreaker

That's his opinion and there's nothing wrong with that. It would be like the other's latest flame showering her with public praise and name-dropping someone that doesn't compare. No need for drama.

She is THE most influential singer of the past 25 years, hands down. I mean, right? Is that even debatable? Her treatment on these lists is just outrageous and disrespectful. Her music has changed music, period.

"Side Effects" could have sound pretty great live imo! So many missed opportunities for that album! Oh well. A "Migrate" release wasn't even indispensable, when you got songs like "For The Record", "Side Effects", or even the fun "Cruise Control". I don't think "Bye Bye" irreparably killed the album's momentum, I love "I'll Be Lovin U Long Time" and thought it was a great single but there are a few examples of eras that were saved by a massive hit that followed up a flop second single.
