Kind of ticked... Went to Best Buy and they only had four copies out. I looked in other departments and could only find four copies on the bottom of the shelf with the other Underwood albums. Target, However, had two rows on the top shelf of the "New Release" display.
The iHeart Radio thing... will we be able to see the entire thing? Someone is tweeting about it now, but I thought it was live at 8... so I'm confused.

iHeartRadio Release Party stream: news.iheart.com/articles/iheartradio-live-485840/carrie-underwood-greatest-hits-decade-1-13038120Set list: "Something in the Water" "Little Toy Guns" [not a single note off-key; she killed it.] "See You Again" "Cowboy Casanova" "Before He Cheats" "Good Girl" "Undo It" "All-American Girl" "Jesus, Take the Wheel" "Wasted" "Two Black Cadillacs" "Blown Away" Kind of ticked... Went to Best Buy and they only had four copies out. I looked in other departments and could only find four copies on the bottom of the shelf with the other Underwood albums. RE: Best Buy, they've confirmed that they're cutting their physical music section back severely, so it doesn't shock me at all that it's scarce there. Target and Walmart are amongst the only ones that still have a pretty healthily-stocked in-store physical music section anymore.

Her voice is sounding spectacular!
I'm really looking forward to this second decade. If SITW and LTG are any indication, we're in for some amazing years of music from Carrie!
Edit: Darn, I didn't catch the live stream... ughhh, are there caps anywhere? Or will they have the show posted on their website? I'm sure I could find the info myself but it's finals week and I've tapped out in terms of doing research...lol.

I hope it's being capped! I'm unable to watch at the moment. God, I hate school!

Her majesty sounded FLAWLESS at the iHeartRadio taping. My friend/co-worker who is a newer Carrie fan (thanks to me) came with me and he was blown away (no pun intended) by her vocals.
Also, I've met her 3 times and I'm pretty sure she noticed me in the (small) crowd as I was about 10 feet away from her toward the front of the audience. She looked directly at me and waved while she was singing, and then after the song said "So many familiar faces!". She's the greatest person alive. <3

I'm still only on the first couple of listens, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but does anyone feel like the production on LTG is kind of...messy? I mean, I love the song and Carrie can do little to no wrong in my eyes, but it just doesn't seem to work altogether. The live version works well, but the studio...it just seems a little off. Anyone else?

I've only listened in my car so far. My main issue is that it sounds so uneven toward the end . The vocals don't match wifh the music. That may be the intention, but on the first couple of listens it sounds off.

HITS: J. Cole (Roc Nation/Columbia) 320-350k sales / 335-360k SPS Carrie Underwood (19/Arista Nashville) 85-90k sales / 90-95k SPS K. Michelle (Atlantic) 75-80k sales / 80-85k SPS Smashing Pumpkins (BMG) 17-19k sales / 18-20k SPS [For those that don't know, SPS is for the new Billboard 200 Chart that includes Sales Plus Streaming]
If she could manage anything in that realm, I'll be THRILLED.

That's more like it! I'm thinking she'll break 100k, I just have a feeling!

That's more like it! I'm thinking she'll break 100k, I just have a feeling! If Carrie Underwood breaks 100k, the RIAA will consider it breaking 200k due to the fact it is a double CD set. I am definitely looking at double platinum here. I say get Little Toy Guns out to other formats after Something In The Water peaks.

I can definitely see crossover potential for LTG, it would probably smash on other formats. But the same was said for "Cowboy Casanova", "Undo It", "Good Girl" and "Blown Away" and nothing was ever done for those songs so I'm not even going to get my hopes up anymore.

If she wanted to crossover again, they would have tried with the Blown Away era, which had more potential than any of her previous releases for crossover success. It's a shame.

I'm shocked at J Cole selling that much. I knew he'd outsells Carrie, but that's a big total. Does he have a current hit?

Woah Carrie. Great numbers!! I predicted 75k at least, now i have feeling that it will open with 105k (115k with Streaming). By the end of the year it will reach 350-400k in sales and another 300k next year

I'm absolutely in love with "Little Toy Guns" and I think it will be the biggest female hit on country radio in 2015.

^That's not really saying much given the state of females on country radio....

PeopleAnd that HDD prediction is excellent! I was keeping my expectations low for the GH because of the sales climate + past Black Friday already + it's a GH set and those released each week prior to hers sold low. Go Carrie! Billboard's estimate months ago was 75k. She's already exceeded at least 1 industry expectation. Also, SITW was officially certified GOLD December 3rd. RIAA

Medley ending with SITW? I hope they execute it as well as the "Blown Away" medley at the 2013 CMAs. I haven't seen a better hits medley since...
