Got some rare pickups yesterday and some not so rare. The two Mark Wills albums had song that went on to become hits for other artist. "Somebody" from Loving Every Minute was a top 10 hit for Reba and "What Hurts The Most" from And The Crowd Goes Wild was a #1 for Rascal Flatts. Makes you wonder if Mark would've had the same success had he released them as singles.
Rare albums 4 Runner - 4 Runner Tammy Graham - Tammy Graham Matraca Berg - Lying To The Moon Daron Norwood - Daron Norwood
Not so rare albums McBride & The Ride - Burnin' Up The Road Mary Chapin Carpenter - A Place In The World Ryan Shupe & The RubberBand - Dream Big Mark Wills - Loving Every Minute Mark Wills - And The Crowd Goes Wild

Just purchased Darius Rucker's new one "When Was The Last Time"...he's one of the few artists I will buy without a preview. Not disappointed at all! Stories & personality...I've listed to it all the way through twice already...and enjoyed it.

Well, my first country album was probably Taylor Swift's Fearless. I haven't bought a lot especially country, as of late, but the most recent was Life Changes by Thomas Rhett.

Marty Stuart - my personal favorite tracks are "High on a Mountain Top" (he opened with this song when he was on tour with Chris Stapleton last year), "Just Between You and Me," and "The King of Dixie." I've also long been a fan of "Hey Baby" which was released as the fourth single. RVS - "Life's Little Ups and Downs" has long been a favorite of mine; he also does a great cover of "Oh, Pretty Woman" on this one. Confederate Railroad - I remember seeing them perform "Elvis and Andy" at the ACM's that year...always like to come back around to this album now and then. This was not as good as their debut album (I also think When and Where might be a bit better), but "Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind" is a classic song.

Going to start a classic album collection soon. Just bought a record player so I picked up some of my favorite albums from the last couple years on vinyl.
William Michael Morgan -Vinyl (Now I can hear it on vinyl lol) Luke Combs - This One’s For You Keith Urban - Ripcord Jon Pardi - California Sunrise Old Dominion - Happy Endings Midland - On The Rocks Got all these on vinyl but now I’m going hunting for classic stuff. Anybody else collect vinyl? If so how hard is it to come across Conway Twitty and Johnny Cash’s studio albums?

He NEVER told me which two.

One of my best vinyl finds was Eddy Raven's 1980 album Eyes, released on a small independent label. My copy is even signed by him, too. The single "Dealin' with the Devil" is fantastic and one of the first hints of the Cajun sound he would perfect later on.
