Jammed to this last night and enjoyed it more than I remembered. Id love White Teeth Teens and Buzzcut Season to be released in the future.

yayyyyy this is the best thing she's ever done. She annoys me at times, but I agree. This song is pretty great. If the boring Team did so well, this should do great.

People seem to be big fans of "Tennis Court" but I like "Glory and Gore" a lot better. Sure, it's being used in TV promos but not every song takes off like G&G has; it seems like the GP is here for it. We'll see...

Her range is boring (it is almost like she is talking half of the time) and all her songs sound the same. I really hope she changes the formula next album because she does have some great lyrics.

I think the reaction to Glory and Gore was less stellar than they were expecting and they are going to try a song that people show they like.
Anyway Glory and gore position on itunes is not bad, it's top 200 (better than a good bunch of song on the top 50 pop right now) and it's climbing on Alternative and AAA

I love both this and 'Glory & Gore' so it doesn't really matter to me which is the next single. Whatever they end up choosing, I hope it smashes.

Mess. But, hey, another excuse to chart two Lorde songs at the same time!

This is still a mess IMO. But good that they're going with "Tennis Court".

Glad they switched back to this. "Glory & Gore" just is not a pop hit.

Awesome. My favorite song of hers and I really do think it's a way better single choice.

This isn't a mess. I'm sure they kept the adds date so far away to gauge PD's reactions to "Glory & Gore." It probably wasn't very positive. "Tennis Court" is the right decision to send to pop.

I sense Lorde becoming the next Kesha in terms of how her sales will pan out.

This is the better song although I wonder if they've botched this roll out now. Still they've got to be happy with her album sales.

I actually prefer "Glory & Gore." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Have never really heard the big deal around "Tennis Court"; it's a good song, but this is a great album and there are better songs that people should be obsessing over.

I'm glad that "Tennis Court" is being released instead of "Glory And Gore". I like both songs, but "Tennis Court" sounds like a better Pop hit to me.

I'm so annoyed. It should have been "Tennis Court" with an April 8 adds date all along: no switch and no delay.
"G&G" continues to climb on AAA and Alt., which is great, but I don't want to see this song harmed by the confusion

You mean Royals version 2,3,4,5,6, or 7? This along with Ribs are one of the few very distinct and unique songs on the album.

I've found the album very diverse (moreso than the one to which its most commonly compared, the wonderful Born to Die), and honestly "Tennis Court" sounds the most like "Royals" to my ear.

I don't think Tennis Court is even close to the best song on the album, but it's the one that sounds like the most pop-tailored hit to me.
