@ the clips sounding better than most of TPAB. Some are very good but I strongly disagree. TPAB was amazing and while I see where a lot of these unfinished songs would have fit in, they are just that - unfinished. Some great lyrics, great ideas, but in most cases, they don't come together in the fully-formed way that most of TPAB does. That said, this is a great treat.

Again, I only listened to clips but what I noticed immediately was what was lacking from a good chunk of TBAB: accessibility and enjoyability. I'm not saying K Dot needs to be making a bunch of Mike Will ratchet bangers but I think it's about time to give the drunken slam poetry over freeform jazz a bit of a break.

So, this was released in physical form today and I picked it up. I hadn't heard any songs in full prior to tonight. I stand behind my earlier assessment that this is better than TBAB. In fact, it's MILES better.
