ANOTHER change at the top! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 4 | 1 | The Business of Emotion by: Big Data (feat. White Sea) | 1 (1) | 44 | 2 | 2 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 1 (1) | 98 | 6 | 3 | Something From Nothing by: Foo Fighters | 3 | 35 | 1 | 4 | What Are You Waiting For? by: Nickelback | 1 (4) | 96 | 5 | 5 | Shut Up and Dance by: WALK THE MOON | 4 | 57 | 3 | 6 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (7) | 92 | 12 | 7 | All This Could Be Yours by: Cold War Kids | 7 | 33 | 11 | 8 | Love Me Harder by: Ariana Grande & The Weeknd | 8 | 31 | 7 | 9 | Animals by: Maroon 5 | 6 | 41 | 8 | 10 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 173 | 9 | 11 | Blame by: Calvin Harris (feat. Angel Haze) | 15 | 28 | 13 | 16 | Revolution by: The Used | 9 | 62 | 14 | 17 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 4 | 73 | 15 | 18 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 330 | 19 | 19 | Jealous by: Nick Jonas | 19 | 25 | 16 | 20 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 5 | 54 |
Notes: - Surprise! "The Business of Emotion" by: Big Data (feat. White Sea) swoops into the top spot, flying 4-1 this week for its first week atop the chart. It gains a +9 play increase this week, one of the highest of the week. I have been starting to get addicted to this song, but it might not see the top for long. Two songs are trending upwards very fast and are looking for the crown, one is within reach and the other one has a bit to go. This and "Resonance" (#2) were battling for the top spot, but I decided to go with "The Business of Emotion" due to the play increase and it just felt more like a #1. This is both acts' first #1 on the chart.
- Foo Fighters hop into the Top 3 this week with "Something From Nothing", going 6-3. This has a lot of momentum at the moment due to Sonic Highways being released this week, and if it keeps trending like this, it could see the top next week. The Foo Fighters also have a potential debut next with "I Am A River" from the album.
- Nickelback slip with both of their singles this week, "What Are You Waiting For?" drops from the top to #4, while "Edge of a Revolution" falls 3-6. Both songs could get resurged next week with their new album No Fixed Address coming out on Monday (potential album of the year candidate for me). More on this in a bit.
- "All This Could Be Yours" by: Cold War Kids blasts into the Top 10, going 12-7 for a new peak. After a bit of an underwhelming second week, it makes up for lost time in its third week. This could see the Top 5 next week.
- "Love Me Harder" by: Ariana Grande & The Weeknd keeps moving right along, breaking the Top 10, going 11-8 for a new peak. After weeks of little gains, it has made two big steps these past two weeks, moving up 7 positions in that span. This will look for a new peak next week, Top 5 might not be in reach at the moment.
- Cold War Kids also move up with "Go Quietly" this week, moving 17-13 for a new peak. Like stated last week, this could play out very well for just an album track, considering singles are usually what dominate this chart. Next week it'll eye the Top 10.
- Nickelback debut yet another song on the chart with "Get 'Em Up" debuting at #14 this week. This is the first song from No Fixed Address to not debut in the top spot. After last week's chart, it was predicted it could hit the Top 10, but it faltered midweek. The next two weeks should see some Nickelback dominance with their new album coming out on Monday. Nearly all 11 tracks on the album can make the chart. I've listened to the album twice thus far (and all I plan till Monday), and it looks like "Miss You" will be the only one not to debut at this moment. That song blows.
- Nick Jonas scores the last debut this week, with "Numb" (feat. Angel Haze) coming in at #15. It made a +10 play increase this week, gaining a lot of momentum. The release of his album (surprisingly good?) also helped out. He also has two song on the On the Rise chart, with "Teacher" and "Nothing Would Be Better". "Jealous" holds at #19 for its third straight week, as it has not left that spot (it debuted there). The last song to spend 3 weeks at #19 upon its debut, rocketed to #9 in its fourth week, then #4 and #3 the following two weeks. Can anyone name that song? (If you're reading this lol).
- Fun fact: 3 album tracks (non-singles lol) are sitting next to each other on the chart! (#13-#15)
- Two potential crossover smashes, "Stolen Dance" & "Riptide", leave the chart this week. "Stolen Dance" by: Milky Chance had a short life, only staying for two weeks and peaking at #17. "Riptide" by: Vance Joy on the other hand, had a long life (since February 2014), but didn't get all that far like most long-runners. It only peaked at #7. It had a loooong time in the #12-#16 region, now nicknamed the "Riptide Region". Both songs could reenter at some point in the future.
- Next week could see a flurry of debuts. Beware.
On the Rise: "Heartbeat" by: Mat Kearney "I Am A River" by: Foo Fighters "All About It" by: Hoodie Allen (feat. Ed Sheeran) "Teacher" by: Nick Jonas "Somebody New" by: Joywave "Uptown Funk" by: Mark Ronson (feat. Bruno Mars) "The Feast and the Famine" by: Foo Fighters "Runaway (U & I)" by: Galantis "When We Were Young" by: Dillon Francis & Sultan + Ned Shepard (feat. The Chain Gang of 1974) "Nothing Would Be Better" by: Nick Jonas "Gotta Get Away" by: The Black Keys "Like I Can" by: Sam Smith Re-Entry Watch: None Dropouts: "Stolen Dance" by: Milky Chance (from #18) Peak: 17 "Riptide" by: Vance Joy (from #20) Peak: 7

Great debut for Nick. I hope both Foo Fighters songs, Uptown Funk, All About It, Somebody New, Like I Can, and Teacher will debut. I also hope LuvBug will re top the chart and Something From Nothing and Shut Up and Dance will get to number one. Great chart :)

Oh sh*t! 5 debuts this week, with 4 coming from Nickelback. Notes: - CRAZY week this week. 5 debuts (4 coming from Nickelback) come onto the chart and completely shake it up. This is the calm before the coming storm, as next week could see an even bigger shakeup.
- Amidst the huge Nickelback movement, "The Business of Emotion" by: Big Data (feat. White Sea) keeps the top spot for a second week. Next week it should fall off as it barely held on this week.
- "What Are You Waiting For?" by: Nickelback rebounds 4-2 this week, leading the No Fixed Address pack. This nearly got the top spot, but Big Data was able to barely hold on. This should be a major competitor for #1 next week.
- "Edge of a Revolution" by: Nickelback also rebounds this week, going 6-4 this week. This is also a big competitor for the top spot, as most of the album tracks are.
- Cold War Kids move up with both of their songs yet again this week, with "All This Could Be Yours" moving 7-6 for a new peak, and "Go Quietly" moving up 13-11. "All This Could Be Yours" had a pretty quiet week, but it should see gains despite their being some competition above it. This is a possible #1, but right now it might have to stay a little below.
- "Sister Sin" by: Nickelback takes the top debut this week coming in hot at #8. It leads the plays for the album (excluding the 3 singles obviously), but only due to the fact that this was my crutch for the album before it was released. I decided to listen to one song from the album, and I chose this. So this was my go-to when I wanted to cave and listen. This didn't show up on On the Rise last week due to it not being on my iPod. The plays were added once I purchased it.
- "Get 'Em Up" by: Nickelback flies into the Top 10, going 14-9 this week for a new peak. It should keep seeing gains, but it should tail off in a few weeks (as most of the album tracks will).
- "Million Miles an Hour" by: Nickelback debuts at #12 this week. Out of the album track debuts, this should be the only one that'll stick around for the long haul as this is slated to be the third single off of the album. #1 is a definitely possible for the track. When it gets there is unknown. Next week should be a certain Top 10.
- "Satellite" and "She Keeps Me Up" are the other debuts coming from No Fixed Address, coming in at #13 and #19 respectively. These will both stick around, with "Satellite" a possibility for Top 10, next week. The other 4 tracks are all possibilities for debuts. "The Hammer's Coming Down" might have some ground to cover, but it is definitely achievable. "Miss You" is probably going to be the only one to miss the chart. It's one of my least favorite Nickelback songs ever... 7 songs from No Fixed Address debut this week, probably being somewhere around where Dark Horse placed its songs. Most songs from that album debuted also, potentially all.
- Foo Fighters score the lone non-Nickelback debut this week with "I Am A River". It only debuts with 18 plays with two weeks under its belt, but it is also worth nothing the song is over 7 minutes long. So really if it were normal length, it'd be in the 30s. This might be shunned next week considering the circumstances.
- Maroon 5 takes the biggest hit this week. Both "Maps" and "It Was Always You" fall off the chart. "It Was Always You" could make a return once it gets released as a single (hoping it doesn't get Lucky Strike'd). "Animals" take a major blow, falling 9-18 this week. It started its run flying up the chart, but came to a screeching halt a few weeks ago. After being a contender to top the chart, it now turns into the lowest ranker from V.
- "Blame" by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) rockets off the chart, falling all the way down from #11. This is the biggest dropout of the year, beating "Rather Be" by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) which fell off the chart from #13 earlier this year.
- Let us all take a moment of silence and bow our heads down for the ones that were lost this week . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . amen
I'm alive.
On the Rise: "Make Me Believe Again" by: Nickelback "Meltdown" by: Stromae (feat. Lorde, Pusha T, Q-Tip & HAIM) "Got Me Runnin' Round" by: Nickelback (feat. Flo Rida) "All About It" by: Hoodie Allen (feat. Ed Sheeran) "Heartbeat" by: Mat Kearney "The Hammer's Coming Down" by: Nickelback "Somebody New" by: Joywave "Uptown Funk" by: Mark Ronson (feat. Bruno Mars) "Tears in the Ocean" by: Jay Sean "Miss You" by: Nickelback Re-Entry Watch: "i" by: Kendrick Lamar "Jealous" by: Nick Jonas Dropouts: "Blame" by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) (from #11) Peak: 5 "Revolution" by: The Used (from #16) Peak: 9 "Maps" by: Maroon 5 (from #17) Peak: 4 "Jealous" by: Nick Jonas (from #19) Peak: 19 "It Was Always You" by: Maroon 5 (from #20) Peak: 5

Happy Thanksgiving! New #1! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 2 | 1 | What Are You Waiting For? by: Nickelback | 1 (5) | 111 | 1 | 2 | The Business of Emotion by: Big Data (feat. White Sea) | 1 (2) | 49 | 5 | 3 | Shut Up and Dance by: WALK THE MOON | 3 | 62 | 4 | 4 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (7) | 106 | 3 | 5 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 1 (1) | 101 | 6 | 6 | All This Could Be Yours by: Cold War Kids | 6 | 37 | 12 | 7 | Million Miles an Hour by: Nickelback | 7 | 23 | 7 | 8 | Something From Nothing by: Foo Fighters | 3 | 36 | 8 | 9 | Sister Sin by: Nickelback | 8 | 28 | 11 | 10 | Go Quietly by: Cold War Kids | 10 | 29 | 9 | 11 | Get 'Em Up by: Nickelback | 9 | 38 | 10 | 12 | Love Me Harder by: Ariana Grande & The Weeknd | 8 | 33 | 19 | 13 | She Keeps Me Up by: Nickelback | 13 | 19 | 14 | 14 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 334 | D | 15 | All About It by: Hoodie Allen (feat. Ed Sheeran) | 15 | 24 | 13 | 16 | Satellite by: Nickelback | 13 | 19 | 15 | 17 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 174 | 16 | 18 | Numb by: Nick Jonas (feat. Angel Haze) | 15 | 32 | RE | 19 | She Knows by: Ne-Yo (feat. Juicy J) | 19 | 50 | 17 | 20 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 91 |
Notes: - "What Are You Waiting For?" by: Nickelback reclaims the top spot yet again for a 5th nonconsecutive week. This might be the last time it sees #1, as some songs are making gains for #1 and the single is done now on radio, which usually means a fall on my chart. Next week it could stay atop, or give it up, it's really a 50/50 shot.
- "Shut Up and Dance" by: WALK THE MOON moves 5-3 this week for a new peak. It's finally starting to gain life again, as a few weeks ago it was looking to start dropping. It set a #4 peak quite awhile ago, and now finally it surpasses it. I guess the song can thank the Single of the Week promotion on iTunes since that kind of restarted the song for me.
- Nickelback has some ups and downs this week. It was originally thought last week that most, if not all, of the album would be on the chart this week, but the album floundered in its second week for me. Nickelback sees big gains for both "Million Miles an Hour" (12-7) and "She Keeps Me Up" (19-13), but the rest of the album tracks fall, "Sister Sin" (8-9), "Get 'Em Up" (9-11), and "Satellite" (13-16), though none fall off. Also most songs fall of the On the Rise chart, except for "The Hammer's Coming Down" and "Make Me Believe Again". "Million Miles an Hour" should see big gains as it is officially the third single. #1 is pretty inevitable for the track. There's also the possibility that "She Keeps Me Up" is the fourth single (it was promoted in Canada as that), so that could also see gains once it's officially announced.
- "Go Quietly" by: Cold War Kids moves into the Top 10, going 11-10 this week for a new peak. Cold War Kids are now 2 for 2 on their lone two entries. "Go Quietly" is starting to become a strong album track on the chart. It should see gains for awhile.
- Hoodie Allen scores a debut this week with "All About It" with a little help from Ed Sheeran at #15. I've been starting to get really into this song lately, so this should also see gains over the coming weeks. Top 10 is not out of the picture for the song, as the songs above it could be falling next week. This is Hoodie's third entry on the chart, following "No Interruption" which hit #2, and "No Faith In Brooklyn" at #16. This is Ed's second, following "Lego House" which hit #6. Hoodie also has a song on the On the Rise chart this week, "Dumb For You".
- "She Knows" by: Ne-Yo (feat. Juicy J) re-enters the chart this week at its previous peak #19. It has been on the Re-Entry Watch chart quite a bit, but last week it wasn't, but nonetheless it'll re-enter this week. Last time we saw it, it only had 31 plays. It has upped that to 50, moving 19 in a month's time. This should stay on the chart, as it has been making gains back to the chart since it left.
- Uh oh. "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo is on the Re-Entry Watch this week. It's starting to get life back to it, and now that it has been announced as a single, it could see a re-entry quite soon. It has fallen off the chart a record 4 times. "Dirty Love" by: Wilkinson (feat. Talay Riley) also makes an appearance.
On the Rise: "S.T.O.P" by: David Guetta (feat. Ryan Tedder) "Hey Mama" by: David Guetta (feat. Nicki Minaj & Afrojack) "Meltdown" by: Stromae (feat. Pusha T, Lorde, Q-Tip & HAIM) "Somebody New" by: Joywave "The Hammer's Coming Down" by: Nickelback "Dumb For You" by: Hoodie Allen "I Bet My Life" by: Imagine Dragons "Uptown Funk" by: Mark Ronson (feat. Bruno Mars) "Here We Go" by: Alex & Sierra "Make Me Believe Again" by: Nickelback "Karaoke" by: Smallpools "Mess is Mine" by: Vance Joy "Untraveled Road" by: Thousand Foot Krutch "Bed of Lies" by: Nicki Minaj (feat. Skylar Grey) Re-Entry Watch: "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo "Dirty Love" by: Wilkinson (feat. Talay Riley) Dropouts: "Animals" by: Maroon 5 (from #19) Peak: 6 "I Am A River" by: Foo Fighters (from #20) Peak: 20

The legs on "What Are You Waiting For"!! I'm glad Ne-Yo came back and I like that Hoodie Allen debut. I'd like to see 'Walk the Moon" or "Go Quietly" hit the top. That's my vote :)

ANOTHER NEW #1! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 7 | 1 | Million Miles an Hour by: Nickelback | 1 (1) | 40 | 3 | 2 | Shut Up and Dance by: WALK THE MOON | 2 | 66 | 6 | 3 | All This Could Be Yours by: Cold War Kids | 3 | 44 | 1 | 4 | What Are You Waiting For? by: Nickelback | 1 (5) | 115 | 2 | 5 | The Business of Emotion by: Big Data (feat. Talay Riley) | 1 (1) | 102 | 10 | 8 | Go Quietly by: Cold War Kids | 8 | 31 | 13 | 9 | She Keeps Me Up by: Nickelback | 9 | 26 | 8 | 10 | Something From Nothing by: Foo Fighters | 3 | 36 | 12 | 11 | Love Me Harder by: Ariana Grande & The Weeknd | 8 | 34 | D | 12 | Karaoke by: Smallpools | 12 | 26 | 9 | 13 | Sister Sin by: Nickelback | 8 | 32 | 17 | 14 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 177 | 15 | 15 | All About It by: Hoodie Allen (feat. Ed Sheeran) | 15 | 25 | 14 | 16 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 334 | 18 | 17 | Numb by: Nick Jonas (feat. Angel Haze) | 15 | 35 | 11 | 18 | Get 'Em Up by: Nickelback | 9 | 39 | 19 | 19 | She Knows by: Ne-Yo (feat. Juicy J) | 19 | 51 | 20 | 20 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 91 |
Notes: - And another new #1!! "Million Miles an Hour" by: Nickelback moves faster than the speed of sound this week, flying to the top from #7. It picks up a +17 play increase! This become Nickelback's third #1 from No Fixed Address, as they are now 3 for 3 on singles hitting the top. Next week should be a good indicator on how long it can stay atop. As of right now, its grip is not so tight, as the Top 3 are tightly knit together. The cover is made by my friend @nickelbackworld on Twitter! This'll be the cover for my profile picture until one surfaces (or until it leaves the top ).
- "Shut Up and Dance" by: WALK THE MOON lifts 3-2 this week for a new peak. It was trending at #1 at the beginning of the charting period up until about Monday when "Million Miles an Hour" started picking up rapidly. This could see #1 next week as previously stated. If it doesn't hit #1 next week, it could easily see it any time in its future since this will likely be a long-running song as it hasn't even been pushed to Pop yet (where it'll crush).
- Cold War Kids just keep battling. "All This Could Be Yours" lifts 6-3 this week for a new peak. This is another song that could hit #1 next week, as it might have a better trend than "Shut Up and Dance" does. This could have hit #1 maybe even last week or the week before if it didn't have that stale second week where it hardly moved. "Go Quietly" also moves up 10-8 this week for a new peak. This has the potential to hit the Top 5 next week since the 4 songs above it are declining.
- Nickelback scores another Top 10 hit with "She Keeps Me Up" moving 13-9 this week. Most of the album tracks are falling, as this is the only one that is keeping its pace. It'll definitely see a fall soon, but when is unknown. The other songs aren't having as much success as SKMU and MMAH are: "Satellite" falls off the chart this week from #16, "Get 'Em Up" landslides 11-18, and "Sister Sin" falls 9-13. On a side note, "The Hammer's Coming Down" is making some gains, as now it is turning into one of my favorites from the album.
- Smallpools lands the lone debut of the week with "Karaoke" coming in hot at #12. I've been really into this song, and it can have a run like "All This Could Be Yours" if it can hold up. This is Smallpools' third chart entry, as their other two singles to chart were minor hits: "Dreaming" peaked at #14, and "Over and Over" peaked at #12. This also gives Ricky Reed yet another song to his catalog on my chart, as he has been dominating this year with productions and Wallpaper.
- Tove Lo finally has herself a positive week as "Habits" lifts 17-14, as it climbs up for the first time in weeks. "Not On Drugs" also finds itself on the Re-Entry Watch again.
- Next week could see a plethora (big word!) of debuts. "#icanteven" nearly hit the chart this week, but just missed it. It has a chance to debut next week, but if history repeats itself for The Neighbourhood like "Jealou$y", it could stall after this week. "Jealou$y" started off really hot on the On the Rise chart, then lost all of its steam the following week and fell off a few weeks later. Also fun fact, almost all of the songs on On the Rise are in the Alternative and Rock genres (excluding "S.T.O.P" obviously).
On the Rise: "#icanteven" by: The Neighbourhood (feat. French Montana) "The Hammer's Coming Down" by: Nickelback "Somebody New" by: Joywave "Carnivore" by: Starset "I Want Out" by: Young Guns "S.T.O.P" by: David Guetta (feat. Ryan Tedder) "Figure It Out" by: Royal Blood "Salt" by: Bad Suns "Avalanche" by: WALK THE MOON "Ink" by: Coldplay "Untraveled Road" by: Thousand Foot Krutch "Up 2 U" by: WALK THE MOON "Aquaman" by: WALK THE MOON Re-Entry Watch: "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo Dropouts: "Satellite" by: Nickelback (from #16) Peak: 13

Come on Cold War Kids! So close. The power of Tove Lo - love it! And, of course, perfect debut this week for Smallpools! I'm hoping for big things for this song. I might have mentioned this before but add "Something New" and "Salt" - that would be awesome. Great chart!

Notes: - "Million Miles an Hour" by: Nickelback keeps the top spot for its second week. It's pretty much the same as last week, as anyone in the Top 3 can take the top spot next week. This may be able to take the top spot for the rest of the year, but again, it's anybody's game.
- The Top 3 stays the same this week, as it may look like this could turn into the Super 3 like the one we saw earlier this year with "Habits", "Rude", and "Words as Weapons". Though, the next two songs could breakthrough the Top 3, as it is much closer than it was back then.
- Cold War Kids just continue their domination, as now "Go Quietly" nails the Top 5, rising 8-4. They now have two songs in the Top 5 this week, but they aren't the only artists to do that.
- While the Cold War Kids are seemingly dominating, Nickelback is doing it too. "She Keeps Me Up" keeps trucking along as it rises 9-5 this week for a new peak. This should probably be as high as it can get, as the Top 4 are a little ways off, but totally reachable. With this move, "She Keeps Me Up" becomes the highest charting album track on No Fixed Address, beating "Sister Sin"'s (13-20) #8 peak. This could also be a future #1, as it is rumored to be the next Pop single off of the album.
- "Karaoke" by: Smallpools takes a leap into the Top 10 this week, moving 12-7 this week for a new peak. As said last week, this could pan out like "All This Could Be Yours", but so far it is having a better trend in its second week than "All This Could Be Yours" did. This could have a shot in the tight Top 5 next week.
- "All About It" by: Hoodie Allen (feat. Ed Sheeran) moves 15-11 this week for a new peak. Top 10 is practically secured next week, even without a play increase, as the 3 songs above it are dwindling down fast.
- Starset pick up the top debut of the week with "Carnivore" coming in at #14. It comes in with 21 plays, the lowest of the debuts, but did pick up all of them in 2 weeks, whereas the other two picked them up in a lot more time. This should be a moderate hit on the chart. This is Starset's first song on the chart, and possibly their only. I've only listened to some of their album, which I have liked from what I have heard, but none of them are songs I'd play regularly like this ("My Demons" is one, but that has already passed its single run).
- "Something From Nothing" by: Foo Fighters is still going nowhere fast, dropping 10-15 this week. It hasn't picked up a play in weeks, and is looking at the final week(s) of its chart run. The song has really burned on me, as it wasn't as immediate as I would have liked for a lead Foos single. Their past two lead singles were big hits, "The Pretender" nailed #1 for numerous weeks, and "Rope" only hit #7, but it had a more lengthy chart run than what this one will end up with. Hopefully the second single (possibly "Congregation") could do better, but it may not since that one hasn't really stuck with me yet. If "The Feast and the Famine" or "I Am A River" (#20 peaker) get released as singles, they should fare better than this.
- "Somebody New" by: Joywave picks up the second debut of the week at #16. The song has been making monstrous strides the past few weeks, as this may turn into a big one. This is Joywave's second song on the chart, but first as a main artist. They saw the chart this year with Big Data on the undercharted song "Dangerous" which only hit #10, but probably should have been a Top 5 hit if I debuted sooner than I did. Lahey would have been so happy to see this song debut lol.
- Well Nickelback has been having an up and down past few weeks. As songs fall drastically ("Satellite", "Get 'Em Up", "Sister Sin", "What Are You Waiting For?", "Edge of a Revolution"), some are dominating ("Million Miles an Hour", "She Keeps Me Up"), and then this. "The Hammer's Coming Down" debuts at #18 this week, coming pretty far to this point. It started off as my second least favorite song on the album to probably in my Top 5. Something about the dramatic feel of the instrumental has made me fall in love with this. It feels like it could be a theme song for a superhero and/or post-apocalyptic movie. This might be the only week it stays, but it could stay for a few more.
- Former 2 week #1 "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer falls off the chart this week. After the Nickelback domination from a few weeks ago, it hasn't been able to rebound as some songs have. This had a very nice run, and probably would have lasted a lot longer had Nickelback not released an album. "Get 'Em Up" by: Nickelback and "Numb" by: Nick Jonas (feat. Angel Haze) also fall this week.
- Next week should see more debuts, as there are potentially 3 more incoming.
On the Rise: "Salt" by: Bad Suns "I Don't F*ck With You" by: Big Sean (feat. E-40) "Wet Dreamz" by: J. Cole "Untraveled Road" by: Thousand Foot Krutch "Ink" by: Coldplay "Aquaman" by: WALK THE MOON "#icanteven" by: The Neighbourhood (feat. French Montana) "Figure It Out" by: Royal Blood "I Want Out" by: Young Guns "Avalanche" by: WALK THE MOON "I Lived" by: OneRepublic "I Bet My Life" by: Imagine Dragons "Crystallized" by: Young the Giant Re-Entry Watch: None Dropouts: "Numb" by: Nick Jonas (feat. Angel Haze) (from #17) Peak: 15 "Get 'Em Up" by: Nickelback (from #18) Peak: 9 "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer (from #20) Peak: 1 (2 weeks) Ooh also before I forget: vote me for Best New Poster at this year's PMAs.

I'll post this now before I totally forget ~~~~~
So instead of doing a year-end chart that everyone else is doing, I'll be doing my own award show! I did this last year also (on my Twitter). I'm still debating on whether or not I should do it on this thread, or make a whole separate thread. If I do it here, I'd make it just one post. If I do it in a thread, I'm not sure how I'd post it (all at once or over a span of a few days). But nonetheless, something is coming. :)

For the past few years, I've had one, and I decided to bring it to Pulse. (Tip: DON'T spam the Polling Booth like I did, just make a survey on another site for the purpose of voting or something) But it would be best to make another thread for this, as it would get more attention! I will be following! :)

Notes: - "Million Miles an Hour" by: Nickelback will lead the chart for its third week. The lead is getting slimmer and slimmer as the Top 5 are currently tied tightly together. The Top 5 stays the same as last week, though there was almost a switch up between the #4 & #5 tracks. Next week will be yet another week "Million Miles an Hour" could be in danger of losing the #1 spot.
- "Karaoke" by: Smallpools moves up 7-6 this week for a new peak. It was a pretty small week for it this week, but next week it might not see any. It is pretty far off from the Top 5 at the moment, so it'll look to cut the deficit it is behind. There is a shot it could pass "She Keeps Me Up" (#5) since it is only an album track, making it very vulnerable to falling.
- Ariana Grande & The Weeknd increase this week for the first time in a few weeks with "Love Me Harder" returning to its #8 peak from #12. It has had a pretty weird run thus far, it climbed slowly to start, then rapidly, then started to fall a little, picked back up, then fell, and now it's back to positive. It'll look to move up next week to finally pass its peak.
- "All About It" by: Hoodie Allen (feat. Ed Sheeran) moves into the Top 10 this week, 11-10, for a new peak. It is starting to move very slowly now, as it might be able to move up next week with some songs falling, but it won't move up for very long if it continues this pace.
- Starset moves 14-11 this week with "Carnivore" for a new peak. It'll seek the Top 10 next week.
- J. Cole scores the top debut this week with "Wet Dreamz" coming in hot at #12. This track leads the way for his latest album 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which sees 3 other songs on the On the Rise chart. This will definitely be able to climb as a strong album track since it has a lot of momentum into it already. Top 10 should be fairly easy grab for it next week, unless it doesn't hold up through this week.
- Bad Suns make their chart debut this week with "Salt" coming in at #14. They have one of my top albums of the year this year, but this is the only song from it to chart. "Cardiac Arrest" and "Dancing On Quicksand" (and this) hit the On the Rise chart upon the album's release date, but weren't able to push into the chart. "Dancing On Quicksand" could easily make the chart if it gets released as a single. This one could be a huge hit on my chart for Bad Suns, as this could hit the Top 10 next week. Next week should very interesting.
- "Somebody New" by: Joywave climbs 16-15 this week for a new peak. It was looking like it could hop pretty high at the beginning of the charting week, but faltered towards the middle. Next week is questionable if it will move up or not.
- "Bats" by: James Wolpert will score the third and final debut of the week, skipping over the On the Rise chart, and coming in at #19. It was looking like it was going to nail the top of the On the Rise chart, but with the 3 dropouts this week being fairly easy to drop, it was able to make it. This one is also another questionable one for how long it'll stay.
- Next week could see 3 more debuts, making it 9 debuts in 3 weeks.
On the Rise: "Talking Body" by: Tove Lo "Lampshades On Fire" by: Modest Mouse "I Don't F*ck With You" by: Big Sean (feat. E-40) "I Am Machine" by: Three Days Grace "Untraveled Road" by: Thousand Foot Krutch "No Role Modelz" by: J. Cole "Work It Out" by: Knox Hamilton "Fire Squad" by: J. Cole "Ink" by: Coldplay "Apparently" by: J. Cole Re-Entry Watch: None Dropouts: "Something From Nothing" by: Foo Fighters (from #15) Peak: 3 "She Knows" by: Ne-Yo (feat. Juicy J) (from #19) Peak: 19 "Sister Sin" by: Nickelback (from #20) Peak: 8 {Tags!} If you would not like to be tagged, feel free to ask. :) surfyJuan Carlos@jf816 AlbieFancylyhomH.Zeebz@jakelmmrs44
In other exciting news, I will be having my own year-end award show celebrating my top picks of 2014! I made a separate thread for it, which you can view here. I will probably start posting awards on New Year's Day and lead them into the next few days. I haven't totally figured out what I will do in announcing this, but you'll be updated by next week's chart! :) Also, you may have noticed this last month, but I will be doing a ranking of every Nickelback song ever soon. Since I have been in Nickelback mode this second half of the year, I think it's pretty necessary lol. I will start this sometime next year (thinking mid-January), as I am still compiling the list. I have my sort of order, just don't have them ranked in certain numbers yet. You can stay up to date with that here. Hope everyone did good on their finals (if you're in school lol)!
