I don't really personally invest in any showmance. This one reeked no less than all the others. Already friends? Check. Strong collaborative chemistry? Check. Young and on the rise? Check. But yeah, better end it now than later, I guess. For Ariana, it's probably just on to the next.

Devastated. Least favorite breakup since Will Arnett and Amy Poehler split.
RIP to the nasty bedroom jam that never got made.

Those sales are a bit disappointing, given her promotion and airplay. But it does seem like streaming has affected her pure album sales A LOT.

LOL why does Japan always receive all the remixes in the world??? That thing's not even worth it, there are no exclusives or previously unreleased remixes. EVERYTHING on it is easily available online if you know where to look.

The seasons thing is interesting because I remember a thread on here where people were arguing over if seasons actually matter regarding a song and it's vibe or tempo, and apparently even labels DO think about it! (Although that guy was almost speaking exactly like someone on Pulse would lol)

Before streaming got popular, didn't Yours Truly barely scan 500k? Although I(the consumer) don't mind purchasing physical copies still, streaming is another great option for music. I just hate that it affects the artists sales.

I just hate that it affects the artists sales. Yes, "Yours Truly" scanned a little over 500k, which makes the sales for this album look even worse, IMO. That album only had one real hit. This one had 5, and she was virtually EVERYWHERE. I wonder what's not clicking? Streaming has most definitely affected her raw album sales, but, overall, I'm not a fan of the singles they chose for this album.

(Although that guy was almost speaking exactly like someone on Pulse would lol) That's usually how I sort music. When I hear a song it just reminds me of a certain season. More uptempo dance songs for the summer and more ballads/mid-tempo songs in the winter. And if you look at when certain types of songs are popular, it seems radio follows seasons too. Of course there will always be exceptions. I feel Ariana's team did a prefect job with the single releases this era.
