Imagine Dragons nominated 13 times (14 if you count the milestone) (and twice in the same category (lol)).
Justin Timberlake nominated 12 times (and also twice in the same category (lol)).
Katy Perry nominated 10 times
Lorde nominated 10 times
I think those are the only 4 with 10+ nominations, but correct me if I'm wrong.
also, none of of the billboard milestone nominees had a #1 hit, what the heck?

Along with Jason Derulo, Luke Bryan, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic and John Legend will also be performing.
Personally I want Phillip Phillips to get a performance spot because his new album is coming out the day after and it would really help its sales.

Jennifer Lopez will receive the Icon Award; past recipients were Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond and Prince. She has a new album coming out, and at times "awards" such as this are promo vehicles. Factors other than what the organizations say go into these selections at times.
In any event, Lopez also will perform (solo and with Pitbull), as will the following: Luke Bryan Jason Derulo 5 Seconds of Summer Florida Georgia Line Imagine Dragons John Legend OneRepublic

More shade from HITS: www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgiBIBLE THUMPERS: Following the strong showing of the first-ever iHeartRadio Music Awards on NBC last Thursday night, all TV eyes now turn to the Mark Shimmel-booked Billboard Music Awards show, scheduled for 5/24 on ABC. Lots of chatter about whether the airing of the Michael Jackson single, which had its world premiere on the iHeart Awards, accompanied by Usher’s show-stopping dance moves, could give a boost to the super-expensive MJ hologram planned for the bible telecast that Shimmel has gone on the line for, sight-unseen. Lots of bashing of the iHeart Awards by the Billboard crew in the weeks leading up to the telecast, as they attempted to block various aspects of the iHeart show. But as it turned out, the relationships between Clear Channel’s Tom Poleman, John Sykes and the rest of Team iHeart with the top artists in the business was readily apparent, as all involved seemed to enjoy being part of the show. Stay tuned, boys and girls—this oughta be interesting. (5/6a)

And, I like JLO, for what she is - a great dancer, fashionista, etc., but really. At least someone is calling this out for what it is.

Good Morning America just announced that Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood will perform together. That's surely gonna be their duet "Something Bad" which will be on Miranda's upcoming album.

Beyonce is so fucking arrogant. Is she too good to perform anywhere? Quiet as it is kept, she needs to be performing everywhere with those flop singles of hers.

ITA - After the bomb (in a good way) that she dropped with "Beyonce" release, she could get a prime spot on every single program. I just don't get it - after all the acclaim and goodwill she received upon the release - especially after the tepid response of "4" - one would think she'd capitalize on it and grab some hits - even pushing the more R&B/Hip-hop leaning songs to pop because audiences would demand it. I'm perplexed here.

"Drunk in Love" was a pretty decent hit for Queen B.- just because she's not scoring major hits at mainstream top 40 radio doesn't mean she's lacking for hits.

If it didn't go top 10 on Pop then it wasn't a hit. [/pulse]
