She put some official remixes to her youtube! As soon as I read this I pegged Four Tet to be on the billing but... god, that was horrible. Tragic mix from him. I don't remember what the other was called but it was cute. I'm not sold on it though.

it's finally charting at AAA, where it should be top 10 by now... but #45 is a start!

Fun fact: Lana Del Rae has never had a song chart more than 1 week without a remix or movie.
Don't belive me?
Solo artist songs that charted
West Coast - 1 week at #17 Video Games - 1 week at 90-100 Born To Die - Did Not Chart Shades Of Cool/Ultraviolence/Brooklyn Baby - 1 week or not charting
Help from a movie
Young And Beautiful - Top 20 peak, 20 weeks on chart Once Upon A Dream - TBA
Help from a remix
Summertime Sadness - Top 10 peak 22-26 weeks Young And Beautiful - the remix kinda flopped here

TBA adds date on FMQB, so I guess a pop push for this is coming eventually.

Are they pushing the radio mix or an edit of the album version? The former is obviously more radio-friendly and mainstream, but it isn't a patch on the latter.
At this point I almost wish they would just move on to another song, preferably 'Brooklyn Baby'.

I do think Brooklyn Baby would have a shot on radio, but unfortunately would probably require a remix like SS. Anything else on the album is 99% likely to not do anything on radio.

The problem is I don't really think there us anything on the album that sounds like it could be remixed into a dance track except maybe Ultraviolence.

West Coast is her best song ever. I cannot decide which version I like the most though; on the one hand the album version is euphoric and as dark as a Lana song can get but on the other hand the 'radio mix' is a pure journey to paradise. Either way I'm glad that I can alternate between the two and appreciate the different approach they have.

I remember when everything first came out people were on her YouTube channel complaining that everything was too dark. Honestly I do not see what they are talking about. Which video did you like the most from this era? "West Coast", "Shades of Cool", or "Ultraviolence"? I'd have to say SOC.

West Coast but that's not saying much cause I was pretty disappointed by all 3 of them, especially the title track but I get what she was going for so it's alright. I just wish we get one more video out of the era. I'd love to see Brooklyn Baby or Money Power Glory get a visual as well.

MPG as a video would be everything. I think the best video was SOC because it had the most visuals and seemed to go okay with the song. Kind of wish it was a bad LSD trip type video, because that's what the song reminds me of. "Guns and Roses" would be a nice change in the video department. I don't think it was released as a single, but it would be a cool video. Cause I have a whole story line in my head of how it could go. Maybe I'll write LDR video fan fiction lmao! @ Keelzit

I love GNR as well! I don't get the hate it gets from lots of fans at all. Some of the fans don't like it??? Sure, people are allowed to have opinions, but GNR is really good! This kind of reminds me of the comments on Ultraviolence's videos. Everyone shat bricks because it was "another homemade video". LOL like every artist has millions of dollars to waste on videos and Prada shoes.
