Pretty song, not sure how it'll do on the charts, but I'd love to see it do well.

They'll do well with it on secondary/Music Row just like they did with the other two.

Actually, this is the fourth single, after "The Countdown", "Maybe Someday" and "Party All Day". I think this should have been the second single though. Great song!

This is so cliche, but I wouldn't expect less from Lonestar.
Also, I may be in the minority here, but it's always hard for me to take a band seriously when they breakup, find a new frontman, flop, and then the original lineup suddenly wants to make music again.
It just screams "we're desperate" to me.

This is so cliche, but I wouldn't expect less from Lonestar. I don't feel their desperate, but this line made me laugh.

As much as I like Lonestar, I don't think they're going to get the attention of anyone but their fanbase, which should be enough. I didn't approve of their effort to ape kick-starter by giving fans 'rewards', like a page of hand-written lyrics, in return for money.

I love Lonestar and the album is pretty good with solid music. I'd stack their catalog from 1997-2005 with anyone in the industry during the same time, honestly. This song should be a top 40 single, but I'd be kidding everyone on this board if I said it would/could ever happen. It likely won't hit the top 50.

Lonestar posted this on their Facebook page back on April 25th, seems like a new Music Video is forthcoming!!!! Lonestar April 25 · Edited It's late here in Nashville. Been a long day on site of our video shoot for our new single JUST THE RAIN. At the end of the day sitting down and reading your stories about how Just The Rain is reaching deep into the hearts of long time fans, fans that have been a part of our Lonestar family for a few years or brand new to the circle, is an eye AND heart opening experience. Some of you may be missing someone tonight so much it is indescribable. The emptiness, the hurt, the tears just below the surface and as much as you fight it...it is ok to feel it. When reading your stories of your loved ones there are so many things in common..even though you may feel like you're alone. Just The Rain allows you feel close, open to see the little things that remind us of them and their incredible life and love. brutal ALWAYS transforms into the beautiful. #justtherain #iTunes #musthave #inspiredtoheal Source: Lonestar's Facebook- www.facebook.com/lonestarnow?ref=stream

I like this. It's a lot mellower, Richie is singing softer again, and it's not the 493rd attempt to re-create "Amazed" or cater to the soccer mom crowd.

I really like this. It's just a really nice, simplistic song. Doubt it will do much of anything for them, but it's still a good song.

I remember back when these guys were still with John Rich. They've always had solid single releases, minus the weird stuff that happened back in the 2006-09 era. But it seems they're back to good old-fashioned Lonestar music. The stuff that kept them at the top after Amazed was released.
As someone said before, yes this should be a Top 40 hit for them. But it won't be. I just don't think they're concerned about the charts anymore. I mean, where do you go after songs like “Amazed”, “I'm Already There” and “Smile”? They're the country ballad band of the past 20 years, and they're okay with that.
And let's keep in mind how old these guys are. They're all approaching 50, and it's good to see them acting like it, versus trying to make a buck off the “I'm a creepy old dude in a hip downtown bar, hitting on young girls my daughter's age” scene.
