I don't get it. I hear this song so much on radio. It must be under-played in some places because I swear this should be so much higher by now.

That would explain her flawless figure. She always looks very in shape and toned.
I think she's a good vocalist, but her material still isn't that strong imo. I've heard this several times on the radio and out with my friends, and I've never heard anyone comment or make mention of it at all. It just goes in one ear and out the other like background music.

This song is life! The throwback 90s so fun and upbeat. Her vocals are really strong, gives me a dance-Florence vibe. What's with these EPs why not a full album

What's with these EPs why not a full album Kiesza will be releasing her debut album later this year. She announced on Twitter a couple of weeks back that she had finished recording all of the songs for the album. I guess the EP served as a showcase for the various styles she is capable of. It was mostly Dance/Pop plus her ballad cover of Haddaway's "What Is Love".

Until it has a +200 bullet again tomorrow. I don't understand how this is fluctuating so much on a daily basis.

This is dropping/stalling now and I just started hearing it on our local Top 40 station here in Boston Kiss 108. I'm still into it and I hope it can rebound some.

The call out scores are pretty bad, but it also has low familiarity.

I don't get it. I hear this song so much on radio. It must be under-played in some places because I swear this should be so much higher by now. Where do you live? I'm in the Midwest (in a large metro area) and I've only heard this once, if at all. It's very odd how songs make their way to the radio here. First off, trends always start at the coasts and trickle inward, reaching the Midwest last. Second, I've noticed that the pop stations stick with more traditional tracks. Chandelier was rarely played, for instance. If I'm remembering correctly, I didn't start to hear Latch being played regularly until it was already close to top 5 on pop, whereas stay with me hit the ground running. I don't know where you live, but I guess my point is that this song probably wasn't doing well in more musically conservative areas.

I legit do not get the resistance. Even though there have been countless Dance/Electronic tracks that have done well by unknown artists and many by major artists who dabbled in that style (i.e. Britney, Katy, Rihanna, Usher etc.), there could still be resistance to it as this is more House than anything else on radio now. Clean Bandit's track is close to that style too, but it's more Pop than this is. Perhaps there is only room for one Dance crossover at a time. Or it is a consequence of the 'disco sucks' mentality. The call out scores are pretty bad, but it also has low familiarity. The song was briefly on our store's Dance/Alternative playlist (IDK how they thought those styles should be put together but that's a whole other topic) but there had been complaints from some who thought the vocals were too shrill. Some found it embarrassing. It seems these complaints came in nationally too as the same music is used in almost every one of our stores so the song was dropped. :( "Giant In My Heart" is on there now though.

There can't be many people who like both (unless the playlist is just Avicii - Hey Brother on repeat lol).

I posted a sampling of it a few months back in my personal chart/picks thread: pulsemusic.proboards.com/post/4656174I will have an updated version of that soon. It's like we are trying to sound like a mixture of Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister's playlists, but we want to appeal to the Club Monaco and A|X Armani Exchange crowds.

The call out scores are pretty bad, but it also has low familiarity. The general public does have some bad limited tastes! That's right, but in this case it was bound to happen. I really really tried to like this, because it's obvious she is talented, but the lack of melody in the song it makes it very difficult. It's the kind of song the polarize, not in the same way that Chandelier, wich is a song that the more you hear it the more you get used to it, this was bound to have bad callout scores. The only way this could get higher (it had a very decent peak) it was with bigger sales. Here nobody can blame radio, they really pushed for this song (other good songs with way better sales were ignored by radio) but the reaction to that airplay was simply not good enough

Im one that loves that combination and their are great songs that are sorta like this besides Hey Brother.
