The difference is that Sara has had a pop hit from each album and two #1 albums? (or did TBU not hit #1?). TBU hit #2 behind Jay-Z's MCHG.

The difference is that Sara has had a pop hit from each album and two #1 albums? (or did TBU not hit #1?). All of the other examples hopefully can and will improve with their next respective records. Brandi I have my fingers crossed tightest for. Bear Creek was an awesome record. Yeah Sara's clearly on a different level of name recognition, but the two artists are pretty closely linked. I think Regina may have peaked in album sales, but yessss Brandi is still building a following over time I'm anxiously awaiting her next album!!!! The difference is that Sara has had a pop hit from each album and two #1 albums? (or did TBU not hit #1?). TBU hit #2 behind Jay-Z's MCHG. Oh ok. I had forgotten. I knew it was a big surprise when she did make it to #1 that one time.

www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/chart-alert/6062667/frozen-soundtrack-set-for-biggest-week-yet-thanks-to-easter'Frozen' Soundtrack Set For Biggest Week Yet Thanks to Easter By Keith Caulfield, Los Angeles | April 18, 2014 Thanks to Easter-fueled shopping, the "Frozen" soundtrack is on course for its biggest sales week yet. Industry sources forecast the album to sell between 225,000 to 250,000 copies in the week ending April 20, Easter Sunday. That would easily surpass the album's best frame (202,000), logged the week ending March 23, when the movie was released on DVD and blu-ray. "Frozen" should easily earn an 11th week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart -- the top 10 of which will be revealed on Wednesday, April 23. Related Articles The album, which was released last November, has sold 2.1 million copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. It is by far the biggest-selling album of 2014. So far this year, it has sold 1.74 million -- 1.11 million more than the second-biggest album of 2014, Beyonce's eponymous release, which sold 628,000. Also helping "Frozen's" sales this week: The album is now being stocked at Starbucks stores. The coffee giant started carrying the album on April 15, though some stores began selling it a day or two earlier. "Frozen" has little competition on next week's Billboard 200 chart, as it could sell between 160,000 and 190,000 more than the likely runner-up title -- August Alsina's new "Testimony." The singer's debut set will perhaps bow at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Rock act NEEDTOBREATHE could see its "Rivers In the Wasteland" start with about 40,000, while Ingrid Michaelson's "Lights Out" may launch with around the same amount. Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" could be the third-highest new entry, with around 30,000 to 35,000. Also in the mix is singer/reality TV star Jessie James Decker's "Comin Home" EP, which was released on Friday, April 18. As the set has been on sale less than a day (as of this writing), it's too early to tell how many copies it will sell through the close of the tracking week on Sunday, April 20. (Though, it seems unlikely it will pose a threat to "Frozen's" No. 1 rule.) James has charted one previous album, "Jessie James," which hit No. 23 on the Billboard 200 in 2009. It was supported by her hit single "Wanted," which climbed to No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Pop Songs chart. The album has sold 99,000 to date. On SoundScan's Building chart (below), "Frozen" is No. 1, followed by Alsina, NEEDTOBREATHE, Michaelson and Derulo at Nos. 2-5, respectively. The Building tally is a precursor to the final Billboard 200 ranking -- reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week as reported by six major merchants. Pharrell's "G I R L" is No. 6, while the "Now 49" compilation is No. 7. 5 Seconds of Summer's "She Looks So Perfect" EP is No. 8, while Shakira's self-titled album is No. 9. Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" closes out the top 10 at No. 10. Nielsen SoundScan Building Chart Rank LW BB 200 Artist Title 1 1 Soundtrack "Frozen" 2 NEW August Alsina "Testimony" 3 NEW NEEDTOBREATHE "Rivers in the Wasteland" 4 NEW Ingrid Michaelson "Lights Out" 5 NEW Jason Derulo "Talk Dirty" 6 2 Pharrell "G I R L" 7 13 Various Artists "Now 49" 8 9 5 Seconds of Summer "She Looks So Perfect" (EP) 9 9 Shakira "Shakira" 10 8 Luke Bryan "Crash My Party" The Building Chart reflects the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week (which ends Sunday) as reported by six major merchants: iTunes, Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, Starbucks, Target and Anderson Merchandisers. Billboard estimates that they make up about 85% of all U.S. album sales.

'Frozen Karaoke' has outsold expectations, regardless of the remaining 43% (obviously an arbitrary number) of the update.

Why are we thanking iTunes for a sale?! $6.99 album sale last week. But, back to reality next week.

I have a feeling some of those numbers will be adjusted down. Ingrid isn't even the highest on itunes. ARE people really going to get that much of her album from retail? You were right; Ingrid didn't meet projections.

This should be a record, karaoke albums generally don't do very well.
