Does anybody know, why most of her singles are not charting in Sweden? Doesn't release them there or Swedes just don't like her music? Been looking that her 1989 singles (except Shake It Off #3) have not charted there.. And it seems weird as Sweden is also with quite big music industry. In my country (Spain) Taylor charted with Shake It Off (peaked #2), Out of the Woods (#22) and Blank Space (#3) when the chart was only based on digital sales. Beginning 2015 the streaming was added to the formula (250 streams=1 sale). Taylor dropped out the chart (when Blank Space peaked at #3). Since that Taylor never charted again here (because Spotify, obviously). In Sweden should be the same.

If you are not on Spotify, you are unlikely to chart there.

Being out of Spotify is hurting her chart positions pretty strongly..

Are Grammy nominations due soon? Call me skeptical but I have to think her recent string of viral appearances (dancing with that kid, the MTV VJ cover thing) are coordinated for something.

I agree that she was getting nominations (and will probably lead all nominees). Nonetheless, that timing makes sense. I see you, Taylor.

P.S. Ryan Adams' 1989 is down to 80 on Metacritic on 13 reviews.

You know what, this article does a good job of explaining my main issue with the critical reaction to Adams' reworking of 1989. Sexist implications aside, I think it's musical snobbery at its finest. Critics devaluing pop music simply because it's pop music. I've given his version a thorough listen, and some of his versions truly are better. But as an album, it IS NOT better than Taylor's, I'm sorry. www.newstatesman.com/culture/music-theatre/2015/09/ryan-adams-s-1989-and-mansplaining-taylor-swift

Took a listen to Ryan Adams' versions....Nah, not my cup of tea at all. A few of his reinterpretations kind of worked, but the rest just...don't. The fun/upbeat lyrics just clash with his heavy reworkings, imo.
I agree with the above article that Adams' versions are just depressing to listen to. Sucked the fun out of her songs.

First night in Nashville, and the special guests were: Kelsea Ballerini ("Love Me Like You Mean It) Steven Tyler ("I don't wanna miss a thing") Alison Krauss ("When You Say Nothing At All")

Oh no! Only an 80! I hope the Reimagination King doesn't start cutting LOL. Well people were pointing out the discrepancy between Swift (76) and Adams (91 at the time) to say critics don't give pop artists their fair due (true to an extent). Can't really use this as an example anymore. His score is now 74.

This song is currently #1 on Hype Machine and it's HOT! I'm just here bopping along until I get smacked by such lyrics during the second verse: I had a lover back in England She's a star, she's like Taylor Swift --- No worries love just comes and goes So I swear like a sailor And say screw you Taylor Swift

^ Where did you find that? I can't seem to find it anywhere on twitter. She looks fantastic. So Taylor posted a list of songs she currently loves last night on twitter/instagram... Over half of them are now charting on iTunes.

I have to agree with a number of points on this article. I love Taylor but there were times during this era when she got annoying. She has definitely been over-saturated and I hope she takes (at the very least) a one year break from whenever the 1989 era ends.
