Whoever brought up a Pitbull remix a few days ago totally jinxed it.
He just released a Blank Space remix. I can't.

HMM I have to be honest I can't stand that instagram of her party. It's like the epitome of fake friends and "the cool kids" from high school acting like their life > anyone elses. Taylor is 25 though so it's par for course. I'm gonna go listen to l OOTW and cleanse my palate. To be fair, there are several quite unknown artists like Joy Williams and HAIM in the pictures so it comes off as more natural and not really staged. It's a case of damned no matter what you do. To put in perspective : these artists, famous or otherwise, are Taylor's PEERS. It should be natural to invite and hangout with your peers/colleagues/co-workers at your own birthday bash. The fact that several of those peers happen to be international superstars is incidental.

1989 Tour update...
First Levi's Stadium date sold out in a day and a second date was added (which is close to selling out already), Ziggo Dome date sold out in 20 minutes, first date at 3Arena in Dublin sold out in a few minutes so a second show was added...which sold out within the hour.

Jay-Z also helps manage Rihanna. It would be cool if Taylor has a feature on Rihanna's upcoming album.

Is 'Style' the next single? 'Cause that'd be great.

One more year-end ranking... Pitchfork - #31 The highest ranked pop release, easily. To be clear, she is the only album on the entire list that Pitchfork did not review upon initial release. I think the album would have gotten something in the 8-point range if they had reviewed it.

Pitchfork can f**k off for all I care, but I'm curious to see if they'll acknowledge her existence finally outside of news articles or year end lists. I guess not! Two songs in their Top 100 songs of the year, and the highest ranking pop album on the year-end albums list...and no review. Lol.

Shake It Off is one her best singles tbh. I don't give a fuck.
It hasn't gotten old for me at all. It's just very...fresh.

Did anybody else watch Taylor on her ETalk Canada Special a few days ago. Taylor comparing "Red" to "1989" herself is interesting in the interview. Taylor said about "Red" you hear Guitar in one song then the next song on the album you hear Dubstep calling it herself not a consistent album as "1989" is.

Bad Blood is currently sitting pretty at #25 on iTunes rising by the hour. What kind of post-Christmas slayage? Who would have thought? :'(

This is greatness what Taylor's management has done to keep this album offline. You go to Youtube and any track from "1989" is either very pitched or sound like a chipmunk singing the songs. There is no real version of any of the tracks of "1989" on Youtube. You gotta hand it off to Taylor's management they done a wonderful job with this. They have made Youtube a wasteland for music. :)

I came home for the holidays and won't head back for about two weeks, which means I'm also away from my music until then. I just went out and bought myself another physical copy of 1989 to circumvent the inevitable and excruciating withdrawal I'd experience, considering the absolute and thorough removal from Spotify and YouTube. I figured I could collect another Polaroid bundle, too. They know what they're doing.
