YOUR TOP 15: Fall back to earth after a somewhat strong Easter week that saw Disney’s Frozen soundtrack score its best-ever tally. A number of retailers were closed on Sunday, so please expect a greater than usual margin of error. Here’s how it looks headed into the weekend: 1. Frozen (Disney) 100-110k 2. Iggy Azalea (Grand Hustle/Def Jam) 50-55k 3. Future (Epic) 45-50k 4. August Alsina (NNTME/Def Jam) 20-22k 5. Pharrell Williams (Columbia) 19-21k 6. Luke Bryan (Capitol Nashville) 18-20k 7. Neon Trees (Island) 18-20k 8. Lorde (Lava/Republic) 16-18k 9. Shakira (RCA/Sony Latin) 16-18k 10. 5 Seconds of Summer (Capitol) 14-16k 11. Fracesca Battistelli (Word) 13-15k 12. Jason Derulo (Warner Bros.) 13-15k 13. John Legend (Columbia) 12-14k 14. Bethel Music (Bethel Music) 11-13k 15. Nashville on the Record (Live) (Big Machine) 11-13k 16. Eric Church (EMI Nashville) 11-13k 17. Florida Georgia Line (Republic Nashville) 11-13k 18. Ingrid Michaelson (Cabin 24/Mom+Pop) 11-13k

I-G-G-Y! I hope to see steady sales from her once the epic smash Black Widow gets released.

Wow wee. These numbers suck for Future.
Surprised at Iggy, doing better than I expected.

lol. you guys thought future was going to get 100k? No. He's opening just as much as Pluto did. No improvement despite the slew of singles.

Slew of hit features and flop singles of his own. The album could have legs, but this is completely expected.

I can't be the only one who sees nothing special about "Frozen". God I'll be happy when this sh*t goes away. Not even a rap fan, but I would've been happy if Iggy or Future took the #1 spot.

Even when it falls from #1, it still has the inside track for #1 album of the year
So we may be discussing this album here next January

I can't be the only one who sees nothing special about "Frozen". You wouldn't even be the only person who hates Frozen. I'm here for you, man.

Great sales for Iggy, but thought Future's would be a bit higher.

Future should've released Honest a bit earlier. He's getting more hype in the media but his single success has gone nowhere.
If Miley Cyrus had released My Darlin' instead of Adore You, he'd open slightly better.
Pluto has sold 365k, 100k would've been very well possible but I guess the demand just isn't there.
---
No news about Kelis? Thought she'd had a fanbase to sell at least 20k.

Glad Frozen continues to sell well because as a chart geek I don't like seeing #1 with such low total sales ;)

WOW sales are so bad. Thank god for Frozen. So I guess it'll be NEXT week that it becomes the best selling album released in 2013.

What does stores being closed on Sunday mean?
Sunday's sales were counted in this week's charts.

As far as 2014 albums, this coming week will bring some movement in the total sales rankings: Pharrell will pass Rick Ross to hit #3, 5 Seconds of Summer will pass Beck to hit #8, Shakira will pass Jennifer Nettles and Romeo Santos to hit #12, and August Alsina will reach #30. These projections will only cause one significant rank change among 2013 albums: John Legend passes A$AP Rocky to hit #35.

Yah- not sure why HITS mentioned this past Sunday.

Some retailers (like Best Buy) end their reporting week on Saturday. That might be what HITS is talking about.
But, all digital retailers' Sunday sales are counted.

I thought all retailers were on a Monday-Sunday sales week since the change in late 1998 (when Garth Brooks' Double Live sold 1m+). Some were on Saturday-Friday, but Billboard made mention of the change at the time (and how, without it, Brooks' album probably wouldn't have passed 1m that week).

I read that Best Buy's reporting week ends on Saturday. Don't know why. It's one retailer, Jim. Not all of them.
This info came out when one of those off cycle albums (Friday/Saturday releases) debuted.

You aren't. I finally saw the movie this past weekend, and the only song that stuck with me at all is "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?" This soundtrack has nothing on the likes of The Little Mermaid or The Lion King when it comes to memorable songs. I am dumbfounded by its success (of course, I don't like "Happy" either). Having said that, I can't see another album topping it for best-seller of 2014.

^That would be more plausible if "Work", "Bounce" & "Change Your Life" took off.
