I like the song, but his voice is bland.

Pharrell doesn't have feature credit Nice to see this getting a US release! Should do well.

Oh, right - Republic probably just put it in there to note that it's another Pharrell production. Wouldn't be entirely surprised to see them elevate him to feature credit later, heh.

Why is everyone hating Pharrell, he can't help it that he's killing the charts! :) #butthurt

From HITS Daily Double's B-Side column:
21 year-old singer/songwriter Cris Cab’s single “Liar Liar”, co-written and produced by Pharrell, is top 10 all over the world and now David Massey and his team are readying a US push with Sirius XM Hits 1 already on board.

I'd be surprised if this became a big hit in the US if something like "Sing" is kind of floundering right now.

I love this song, although the fact that this just missed the top 40 in the Mediabase Canadian CHR chart a few months ago doesn't give me high expectations for its success.

No way it's this dude!? He caught my attention back in '11 with a cover of Kanye West's "All Of the Lights" (need to revisit that!) and then I forgot all about him til... now.
I really like this; its light reggae influence is enough to tip the balance for me to prefer this over "Sing." It's odd that he broke out in Europe ahead of the US. He's got a very American look and sound (I mean he's Euro accessible too; I just would have thought he'd happen at home first).

This is on the US iTunes now (I'm pretty sure it wasn't before?) along with the pre-order to his debut album. This will probably be released to radio soon.
ETA: Actually this was just taken off of Republic Playbook. Not a good sign... or is it?
