The Highwaymen's music is incredible. All three of their albums are in regular rotation at my house. I wish there were more examples of great artists teaming up like that in country music history. I agree. Out of their three top 40 hits, I like them in this order: Highwayman, Silver Stallion, and Desperados Waiting For A Train. If you're not familiar with their non-singles, give this song a listen. It's similar in structure to "Highwayman" but equally great in my view:

^I am familiar with the entire Highwayman CD from 1985. The video you picked is from Highwayman 2, the other song I like from that CD is Angels Love Bad Men (how appropriate for those four men to sing that one). The three tracks from The Road Goes On Forever that are my favorites is the title track, The Devil's Right Hand (Waylon Jennings recorded the Steve Earle tune as a solo artist), and I Do Believe. I am sure you are familiar with the Essential Highwymen, which contains various matchups of their greatest hits.

I didn't get into Country music until I was about 12, which was in 2004, so my list is of those who really made me fall in love with country music:
Kenny Chesney Carrie Underwood Keith Urban Sugarland/Jennifer Nettles
