I love this. He has a nice voice- kind of a mix between Justin Moore and Rodney Atkins. Hope to at least hear this on the radio. It's catchy and radio friendly while managing to sound unique at the same time.

Love this song and am especially rooting for him after meeting him at his merch table at a concert he was an opener. Super cool guy.

He had 29 monitored adds today. I like the song. Its not overly traditional, but he at least as an undeniable country twang to his voice and the song is a nice change from the country rap and bro country.

I've kinda had this song mixed in with Joey Hyde and Canaan Smith's in terms of them being kinda forgettable. With Joey's looking like a dud I think one of the other two will take off. I'm placing my bet that this one will join Joey in flopping. Shame too as his other song from two years ago "Moments" was pretty good.

I'm placing my bet that this one will join Joey in flopping. Shame too as his other song from two years ago "Moments" was pretty good. I have my doubts any of them will take off. Joey's is all but done and really has been for two or three weeks now. Canaan's got no adds this week, which is never good for a song that hasn't cracked the top 50 on MB yet and has been out for 8 weeks. Finally, I think Dean's has a slight chance to take off, but in the end I see this scraping the top 40 at best. This song is okay (it has grown on me some since I heard it on the Highway late last year), but his vocals get really rough on some of the notes in here. Too bad The Farm couldn't get a chance to get their lead single from their sophomore album out there and "Live A Little" did. #stubbornlybitter.

Well for the first single promoted by Warner's new WEA imprint, this one sure tanked. It fell out of the Billboard top 60 tonight, indicating that the label pulled it. It still had a bullet 2 weeks ago before losing it last Monday, and then tonight it's not on the chart, meaning that it had to have fallen below 627k in audience (which is what the #60 song from Kelsea Ballerini has).
I actually heard this one 2 or 3 times on the Phoenix stations and it just seemed really generic to me. It seemed the label was really working this hard (I saw quite a few ads for it) but it spent 11 weeks on the chart and only got as high as #50.
Let's see what happens next with Dean. It looks like WEA will also be promoting Josh Abbott Band's "Hangin' Around".
