I'll be excited to hear this. I just hope BG's music isn't taking a turn for the worst.

This is terrible. But Justin Moore sounds great, (probably because Gilbert/Rhett sound really bad). Going to be a huge hit though.

I'll be excited to hear this. I just hope BG's music is taking a turn for the worst. An interesting combo. You're excited to hear this, but you hope his music is taking a turn for the worst? ;) I'm wondering if "is" was supposed to be "isn't" here..? I don't mind the sound of this one, but the lyrics are not very good at all. I don't think any of the 3 of them sound good either; Rhett sounds especially terrible. At the end it sounds like he's trying to emulate Ronnie Dunn or Randy Houser with a strong high note, but Rhett crashes and burns before he even gets off the ground. The 2nd verse with Justin might have the worst lyrics. I only listened twice so I don't have them memorized, but I heard a bunch of talk about "growing Daisy Dukes" and their "rockin' little bodies" who aren't afraid to show off their long tan legs. Although I guess the first-verse references of a party back in the trees, a bunch of girls, and a keg of beer aren't exactly original either. I thought Brantley already sang about "rockin' this quiet little country town" in his last song, whatever that was called... ;)

Justin Moore is extremely underrated. He's one of my favorite country singers. I have all 3 albums. Not bad for a 'new artist'.

Not bad for a 'new artist'. Underrated on Pulse. You guys never give him any credit. Brian, I like Justin too-but you have to admit that comment by Buffalo was pretty funny ;) Justin's twang used to bother me with its exaggerated style, but Ive grown to really enjoy his voice-he has a much better voice than a lot of the hot country guys out there (looking at you Luke Bryan). His songs are a little uneven lyrically (he's had some great ones like Heaven) but I even enjoy his current single and forgive the subject matter of once again cruising in the truck with a girl (he also gets props for no sleazy female references like Rhett, Chase et al) just because he sounds so good. ETA: As for this song-I can never get the media players to work on my MAC so I will have to wait until radio......with this combo or artists I'm sure I'll hear it

For the record, I like Justin Moore. However, his win at the A.C.M.s was a laughingstock. They couldn't find newer artists that have been out less than six years to get nominated (like Kacey Musgraves?).

They couldn't find newer artists that have been out less than six years to get nominated (like Kacey Musgraves?). They should have renamed that award something like CMA's old "Horizon Award." I still don't understand why CMA changed to "New Artist" since "new" implies 'new.' The ACM did break their 'rule' for Justin's award but he's another 'good guy' so I was happy he was able to get some sort of award for his consistently selling records and tours.

Brian, I like Justin too-but you have to admit that comment by Buffalo was pretty funny ;) I didn't know it was a joke. I have know idea what he's referring too. The fact Justin won the ACM New Artist Of The Year and it's been 6 years since his debut single. That's what he was referring to when he said "not bad for new artist".

Heard it for the first time on one of the radio stations websites today.. Honesty not that bad at least from production/sound stand point. All three did a good job with it for whats it worth.

All I'm saying is that obviously there a lot of songs with the Small Tow themes. Not a bad theme, but its hard to be unique. Personally believe they were in this one. So if that is minimum standard then so be it.

This song doesn't blow me away but I won't turn the station when it comes on. I just can't wait for the rest of BG's album.

In other words, exactly what I was expecting.

Lyrically I don't want to like this song, but the beat is catchy and I know it will get stuck in my head haha. Sure beats Bottoms Up though.

It looks like this one got the Clear Channel debut yesterday, albeit a bit of an abbreviated one. It pops up at #44 on MB with 6.1 mil in audience and 637 spins, all from just one day.

I just can't get into Brantley Gilbert's voice...or his "I-Wanna-Be-A-Badass" look.

I actually kind of like this song, but I wish they didn't release back to back party singles to start this album off. Some of the other titles on the album sound intriguing, I'm guessing there has to be one song with some type of story/message. This song would have been fine being released as the 3rd or 4th single. I just want a little more variety in the singe choices, is that too much to ask for?

Brantley is coming off a big #1 hit, plus it features a fellow BMLG artist in Thomas Rhett who just had two big #1 hits. Throwing Justin Moore's name in there doesn't hurt either. Plus it's May and Summertime is right around the corner, which is the time of year these type of songs thrive off the best. With the success of "Bottoms Up" along with those other factors, there really is no point not to have this be the second single if your Scott Borchetta and Valory/Big Machine Label Group.

It is Valory's tour de force so to speak. Think of it as this year's version of The Only Way I Know. Except the star power of that collaboration was much bigger (Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Eric Church). Besides, two artists (Brantley Gilbert and Thomas Rhett) are coming off #1 hits. Justin Moore is currently in the top ten with his single.

As soon as I saw the track listing for the album, I had a feeling this would be released as the 2nd single, following the Jason Aldean blueprint. I'm sure this will easily go platinum with digital sales with all their names tied to it.

I can't see this thread title without instantly thinking of this as the B-level artists' version of "The Only Way I Know."

I'm sure this will easily go platinum with digital sales with all their names tied to it. I bet there's a song on their just like "1994" that'll be released third. Luke, Luke, Luke Bryan.. Will the real Luke Bryan stand up? I think you mean Jason Aldean This was actually pretty decent! I was half expecting a rap section, but thank God they decided not to do that on this single. I thought Justin Moore's part was the best, vocally though. Is it just me or does it sound like Brantley just smoked a pack of cigarettes every time he sings?
