I have to admit that this is extremely catchy, but I'm sure this thread is going to turn into another "This isn't rock! It's dance pop crap! Why is this getting released to Alternative?!?!" thread.

I like this better than most of the dance/pop songs on Alternative right now. It's got a cool sound

This is ridiculously catchy. I don't like it nearly as much as I like Dangerous and I can't see it being all that successful on Alt. I don't mind it being in the Top 50 though, my guess is it will stall out in the mid-high 20s.

The word catchy was invented to describe this song.

This is truly a great song. The video's a bit strange, but it works with this song!

I've really been digging this lately. At first, even I thought this was too much of a dance track for the format. But this morning I heard it on the radio played after "Dare" and it really didn't feel out of place. First impressions can be wrong. :)

First impressions can be wrong. :) Now there's a classic hit that doesn't feel out of place in the current climate. But wait, how did we feel about it at the time? It's like stepping on another planet.

This song reminds me a lot of C2C's "Down the Road", and I actually liked that one a lot. There's no reason this shouldn't reach Top 30 at least, with Joywave's name factor and the fact that "Down the Road" almost made Top 20.
That said, "Down the Road" shits on this completely, but this is rather unique and stands out, so I really don't have that big a problem with it.

This is alright , but "Dangerous," which is amazing, more than fulfills any Joywave craving I may have.

Is Kopps the singer on this? No, Daniel Ambruster of Joywave is the lead vocalist in both this and in "Dangerous"

This sounds like the alter ego of Nu Shooz (ie. "I Can't Wait"). But, the 80's haven't been as cool as they are today since 1989, so we get songs like these.

^ That's nothing. In grade 7 I thought the opening of Smash Mouth's "All Star" was "She was looking kinda dumb with her finger in her bum and the shit coming out out on her forehead"
Then I grew up.
