I hope this doesn't take 44 weeks to finish in the top fifteen like Wake Up Lovin' You did.

Yes! This is a great song and one I've been listening to non-stop for weeks now. I really think this'll be a hit for him.

What a pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting another single from the album since it was another hits collection with only four new songs, but I'm more than okay with this since this is a great song. I love when Craig Morgan puts his great voice to good music.
Anyone else think he sounds a bit like Toby Keith on this? His vocals on the chorus remind me a lot of Toby's voice (the "When I love you / When I hate you" part of the song).

Finally, a Craig Morgan song that I can enjoy. Although I must say that I too am a bit surprised they are going with another single release from The Journey (Livin' Hits). The album didn't really sell anything at all and I'm sure it was somewhat expensive getting "Wake Up Lovin' You" up the chart, considering it didn't become a huge digital hit (meaning that their returns were probably somewhat low given how much effort they had to put into radio promotion).
But this is a great song so I can't complain. I guess I just thought Black River would take this time to really focus on John King and perhaps Kelsea Ballerini and Glen Templeton as well.
This is probably my 2nd favorite single of his. I don't like most of his songs but still, putting this 2nd on my list of Craig Morgan favorites should show how much I enjoy it. The only single of his that I like more is "Almost Home" and that probably won't change. That song is just stunningly good. WCBA is really good but not on that level, at least for me.

^ I agree, nothing will beat "Almost Home" (one of the best country songs I've ever heard), but "We'll Come Back Around" is easily in my top 3-4 singles from Craig now. The other two being "This Ain't Nothin'" and "Every Friday Afternoon".
This was always the song I wanted released from the three other new songs on the album, and I'm so excited that Black River threw a bone out to us and is releasing this to radio.

I didn't like Wake Up Lovin' You. I found the chorus too loud and aggressive, like Love Remembers was. This is okay, but I can't see it doing much. I really liked his That's Why album, but not much the one after that. He's never really broken out into the mainstream. I like him, though; I think he has a good voice and I wish him all the best.

Pleasantly surprised by this decision. I've never been a fan of Craig Morgan's, so this might just be my favorite of his.

Very strong choice, my favorite from Craig for some time. That said, the na na na na's start to wear a bit thin by the end of the song. Craig has done quite well with a pair of I thought were quite mediocre, so I'd love to see a stronger tune like this find the top 20 as well.

I love this, easily my favorite Craig song. The delivery is perfection IMO.

They've sent out an alternate version of this too. the only difference is that it features slightly different production and cymbals opening up the track.

I love this!!! I do admit I am a bit of a Craig Morgan fan and there are very few of his singles that I haven't liked (there are a few). I like pretty much everything here: lyrics, melody, production, delivery.

Just 18 adds for Craig on impact day. Not bad but still nothing to write home about. I fear with the absurd amount of new singles from established artists and newcomers alike that "We'll Come Back Around" might get lost in the shuffle. I hope that my worries are incorrect and Craig can get at least top 20 with this single but perhaps this might be a bad timing situation. He has had some slow, and I mean sloooow chart climbs lately with "Wake Up Lovin' You" and "This 'Ole Boy" so only time will tell.

I'm still shocked that "Wake Up Lovin' You" held on as long as it did and made it well into the Top 20, so I'm not going to be quick to count this one out. But my initial sense is that this will not do nearly as well. It's a good song but still comes as a surprise imo that they went for another single off his latest Greatest Hits package, and with all the competition out there from other artists, I wouldn't exactly mind if this one decided to spend less time on the chart and peak a little lower for the sake of chart movement.
For the hell of it, I'll throw out a prediction and say that I think this'll scrape the Top 40, but peak somewhere in the mid-30s.

It's been charting on Billboard for 5 weeks and MB's top 60 for 4 weeks and only has gotten to the mid 50's thus far with a very small amount of adds the past three weeks (3 this week on MB). There's just zero buzz on Craig or his Livin' Hits album right now, and he much to my fear, has gotten lost in the shuffle. The fact this was released in the summertime didn't help things either. I love this song and is right up there with "This Ain't Nothin'" and "Paradise" for me in terms of Craig songs (nothing still beats "Almost Home"), but I think releasing another single from this hits package was a mistake. However, Black River probably knew that this might falter going in and decided to give this song a try since the label (which has many resources even though they are independent) has nothing to lose and Craig probably doesn't have new music waiting in the wings. The fact that "Wake Up Lovin' You" and "This Ole Boy" lasted forever and a day on the singles chart gives me some hope, but right now I don't see this reaching the top 40.

Wow, just realized this was a Brandy Clark co-write. No wonder i like it so much. I haven't listened to this since it was announced as a single, and I listened to it 3 times yesterday and I must say, might be one of my favorite single releases of 2014 now. Such a great song, and Craig sounds at home. So glad he got away from screaming at the top of his lungs a la "Bonfire". It's a shame this isn't flying up the charts. I hope he can get another full length LP from Black River Entertainment and include songs like this

Not surprising to see that this is floundering on the charts. There must be some unwritten rule among PDs that Craig Morgan can only have one hit on each album.

Craig never 'evolved' into a consistent hit-maker, and with this single essentially coming off a repackaged hits album, I'm just not surprised. His last single took forever to make the top 15 (a good effort on Black River's part) but it never really sold much digitally. "We'll Come Back Around" is a great song--a well-written song about real life. And that's another big reason why it's struggling on today's country radio...this is a song with actual meaning.

If "We'll Come Back Around" was released first off the greatest hits album, I think it would've peaked at least as well as "Wake Up Lovin' You" if not better. "We'll Come Back Around" sounds more radio-friendly to me, it's just that Craig has absolutely no momentum right now.

That's one of my least-favorite songs, ever. I agree with zjames--I think if Craig and the label had led the album off with this, it would've gone at least top 30 if not top 20, but right now he has no momentum. I mean, this "hits" album is probably selling a couple dozen copies a week, if that.

There should be a mandate in Craig's recording contract that states he must only sing the likes of "Almost Home", "Paradise", "Every Friday Afternoon", "This Ain't Nothin'", and "We'll Come Back Around" - Or at least a mandate that those songs be singles and the likes of "Bonfire", "Still A Little Chicken Left On That Bone", and "Corn Star" are not. I like jhomes87 am not surprised this song is struggling. I thought top 40 would be a pretty reasonable top end goal and anything beyond that would be gravy. Unfortunately even that may have been too optimistic. It does make me sad to think what might have been if Black River had lead with this instead of "Wake Up Lovin' You", but it is what it is. I too hope that Black River and Craig don't feel the need to go back to the bargain bin of novelty songs to achieve another top 20 single, cause "We'll Come Back Around" is clearly where he shines as an artist.
