From BuzzJack Music Forum: 1 Calvin Harris feat. John Newman - Blame (26.8k) * 2 Ten Walls - Walking With Elephants (20.5k) * 3 5 Seconds Of Summer - Amnesia (19.6k) 4 Lilly Wood and Robin Schulz - Prayer In C (18.5k) 5 Chris Brown feat. Usher and Rick Ross - New Flame (14.4k) * This is the Tuesday update in the UK and "Blame" is currently at #1 with 26.8k sales. The gap it has with "Prayer In C" is only 8.3k, but it has been revealed that "Blame" is currently at #15 on Spotify UK, which I wasn't expecting it to be so high already, while "Prayer In C" is still atop. On the other side, I'm taking out "Walking With Elephants" and "Amnesia" out of the contenders because I don't think they are going to do much damage in my opinion. Don't blame it on me ETA: Sales have changed by 0.1k for "Blame" and "Prayer In C".

Looks like I need to retract my words regarding its US performance on iTunes because it's currently at #11. Sh*t!

this is really really good, way better than Summer and I enjoyed Summer. John Newman's vocals are fantastic, I'm still upset Love Me Again didn't make a huge impression in the US.

I wanted to love this, but for now, I only tolerate it... I hope it grows fast! This. I'm no Calvin Harris or John Newman diehard, but I thought this was the perfect collaboration just like Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding was. For now it's just average to me, but I think it'll grow.

I can see Blame sweeping the entire chart and going to #1 after Taylor Swift's big run

His voice/tone/pronunciation is kind of grating tbh, but Calvin's good. This has grown a bit on me though.

I can see Blame sweeping the entire chart and going to #1 after Taylor Swift's big run Puff, i think it's too soon for a prediction like that (of course if it happens your fame as visionary will skrocket). Summer was his biggest hit by far, this was promoted so it's no surprise the start of the run is so promising. But it's impossilbe to predict right now how the song is going to do (in fact i think it's even not that sure Taylor's number one, it won't be the first sure shot that ends blocked out of the top). Anyway, predict a top 10 is not difficult, because all his songs (with one exception) ended there. John better prepare a single on his own to release after that to profit of the new exposure, maybe something to preview his new album

Ok, obvi I love this song but how many times do I have to tell Calvin...I need shirtlessness in his videos. Not here for this Victoria's Secret ad he's passing off as a video. >:(

There is not really something like a story line in this music video but I still like it Actually, there's one (around 0:50) according to him. I don't know if he was messing up though~
From Music Week/BuzzJack Music Forum: The information is out and it's confirmed that "Blame" started with 60,933 sales and it was streamed 937,900 times, which gives the remaining 9,379 points/streaming sales to the total of 70,312. Obviously, it's less than "Summer" did in its first week, but if it's considered that it only had three days of buzz when the track received its first play, I think it's great. Also, it's really uncommon to have a sort of OA/OS release in the UK and enter straight to the #1 nowadays. A second week atop is out of the bag because of "Changing", but I guess it will be inside the Top 5 this week. Moreover, "Blame" debuts atop on the Singles Sales Chart and it enters at #6 on the Audio Streaming Chart.
Oh! And I'm going to leave this here, although it should be more appropiated in the General Artist Discussion thread.
