Does anybody else hear a part of "This Kiss" by Carly Rae Jepsen in this track? In the chorus when she says "This is..." I can hear Carly saying "This kiss"... The words "kiss" and "is" sound pretty much the same, lol.

I love this! The beginning reminds me of California Gurls, but I still really like it.

This has grown on me over the past day. The lyrics and the song itself are great, but I still think that Zedd's production is sloppy and amateurish.

LOVE the single artwork.
Verses are obviously stronger than the chorus simply because they're a bit more clear. The more I listen to it, the more it sounds like Katy Perry. The lyrics and melody, anyway; not her voice or the production neccessarily.

I don't know, this beat is hot and her voice sounds clearer (?) than in Problem but it could be way catchier. It'll have to grow on me.

This is pretty dull. It sort of reminds me of "People Like Us" in that it's so clearly made to be this dance hit that it's just a little too transparent--there's nothing organic, compelling, interesting, or fresh about it. Sure she sounds pretty good and you can dance to it and it's inoffensive, but I think the initial "LET'S BOP!" flush will evaporate and you won't be left with much. Should do better than "People Like Us" because she's newer, younger, and coming off great momentum, but yeah, I don't think this is a sure-fire smash by any means.
As for the sound, I think this is a little different than the Taylor Swift argument because, for one, this is only her second album, so establishing some kind of sound is usually sort of important at this stage of one's career. Also, Taylor Swift introducing "We Are Never..." was appropriate because the album itself was far more pop-leaning than anything she's ever done; so that was more like a transition, or a bridge. This and "Problem" feel like they belong on different albums entirely.

Her voice resembles Rihanna in certain places! And agreed with it sounding like Katy Perry could sing it, but I FREAKING LOVE THIS! It gets better with each listen!!!!!!!!!!!! #legendariana

Yeah, I love it after only 2 listens. Slay, legend, iconic, bop, etc etc
They have to release an extended mix with more of that beat in the end plz~

Comparing Break Free to Stay the Night is like comparing drowning to burning alive.

Heard it for the first time while driving today. Sounded pretty good. Not as good as "Problem", but it could be a "Slow Down"/"Neon Lights" sized hit.

I also wouldn't be surprised if sales didn't hold up too well, and spent most of its run in the teens and 20s on iTunes

Nothing too grand (no pun intended). Fits right in with all the other pop/dance tracks from the last several years. Which means it will probably fare decently at radio.

Ugh her label sucks. This should have been the album release and this should have come out in August. >:(
"Problem" hasn't even peaked yet and they're already sending this for adds? Releasing it to iTunes is *somewhat* understandable, but they're just throwing away a lot of money they could be making from "Problem."

This will smash because of her young fan base. Her vocal tone sounds very much like Cher Lloyd on this song. It's strange to me that she sounds different on almost every record she makes.

I don't think they'll drop Problem immediately.
