Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift have quite a few of these:
Off Let Go, I thought that "Mobile", "Anything But Ordinary", and "Things I'll Never Say" sounded like smashes but "Losing Grip" kind of killed the era so :/
Under My Skin had "Fall to Pieces" which I thought could've been a signature song of hers as well if it were released properly, it also had a cut called "Daydream" that never fully leaked but would've been a way better single choice over "Don't Tell Me"
Off The Best Damn Thing, "I Will Be" (I believe it was actually a bonus track, not even on the standard) sounded like an absolute smash the first time I heard it, as did "Runaway" and "Innocence".... that whole era was mismanaged in my opinion
"Give You What You Like" was one of the only good songs on her self-titled and should've been the single after the trash "Here's To Never Growing Up", it could've saved the era
For Taylor, "You're Not Sorry" and "The Way I Loved You" were standout tracks on "Fearless" and I feel like they could've been huge on HAC radio but.... missed opportunity I suppose
Speak Now has "Enchanted", "Better Than Revenge", and the bonus track "If This Was a Movie" that all sounded like hits to me
She should've released "All Too Well" off of Red when she performed it at the Grammy's... best song on the album
Some others:
Adele - Turning Tables (this should've been released after Set Fire to the Rain, the public was definitely here for this song)
Adele - Don't You Remember
Adele - One and Only
Kelly Clarkson - Long Shot
Kelly Clarkson - Gone
Kelly Clarkson - Addicted
Kelly Clarkson - Don't Let Me Stop You
Britney Spears - I've Just Begun Having My Fun
Britney Spears - Cinderella
Britney Spears - Inside Out
Miley Cyrus - F U (feat. French Montana)
Miley Cyrus - Nightmare (This didn't even make Bangerz yet had more potential than 95% of the album)
Demi Lovato - All Night Long (feat. Timbaland and Missy Elliott)
Daughtry - One Last Chance
Daughtry - Crashed
Eminem - Won't Back Down (feat. P!nk)
P!nk - Heartbreaker (Bonus track on the Platinum edition of I'm Not Dead, yet is better than a lot of the album)
P!nk - Long Way to Happy
P!nk - It's All Your Fault
Justin Bieber - Die In Your Arms (Lolll I'll get judged for this one but I thought this had potential)
Justin Bieber - All Around the World (feat. Ludacris)
Katy Perry - Mannequin
Kesha - Blind
Kesha - Crazy Beautiful Life
Rihanna - California King Bed (I know it was released WW but the US release was either cancelled or just really bad)
Lady Gaga - Speechless (Easily one of her best songs and the fact she performed it at the AMA's and the Grammy's as a duet with Elton John, yet, never released it STUMPS me)
Lady Gaga - Dance In the Dark
Lady Gaga - Starstruck (feat. Flo Rida)
Bruno Mars - Marry You (This has sold over 2 million copies despite not being a single, pretty impressive)
Bruno Mars - Count on Me
Bruno Mars - The Other Side (feat. Cee Lo Green)
Bruno Mars - Talking to the Moon
Paramore - Pressure
Paramore - For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic
Maroon 5 - It Was Always You
Lorde - Glory and Gore
Lana Del Rey - Diet Mountain Dew
Ariana Grande - Honeymoon Avenue
