This single has a SiriusXM ONLY release right now. That being said, it's a great song.

There are a few radio stations playing it currently. My local radio station has played it. Hopefully with some airtime on The Highway, it will be added to other radio stations

I have a couple friends who LOVE Logan and have seen him live a gillion times, so I've been hearing about him for a few years now. I'm really happy the Highway has been spinning his songs, because I enjoy his music quite a bit. I've only heard this particular song a couple of times on the Highway and enjoy it, but I absolutely LOVED "Used Up."
I would like to see Logan have some breakthrough success because I know how hard he's worked to break out of the Midwest. :)

XM has been playing this a lot lately.
I thought "Used Up" was damn near a masterpiece, too.

"Having ice cream for supper on a Saturday night, and I told you right then, for the rest of my life" "That I would love you. And nobody else. So I gave it all away, yeah I gave it all away" ;)

It's a really good song. Wish he was on a bigger company that could promo better. He's selling and doing well just based on SXM airplay though.

Logan has been signed to Arista Nashville and "Can't Get Away From A Good Time" will officially be reshipped to radio on November 17th, with the add date being set for January 19th, 2015.
Yay. Now as long as "Used Up" is his second single, I'll be on cloud 9. ;)

So we have "Can't Get Away From A Good Time" and "Raised By A Good Time" (Steven Lee Olsen) going to radio at the same time. Nice. :)

Officially redelivered to country radio this afternoon. Logan re-recorded the song for its official release (why, oh why?). Anyway it sounds perfectly fine so don't worry. It's just I had become used to the original recording. The new version is edited to 3:55 in length.

I'm glad to see Logan finally made things happen for him, since he's been going at it for years and really working hard to build up his fan base.... but for the love of gawd, this town needs a serious overhaul in the A&R departments. I think the song is awful and they could have picked a better song to push to radio for his major radio debut! I just think it's boring and kind of irritating. So hopefully this won't fall flat on it's face and Sony gives him a second chance.

It's NOT Bro-Country and it's nice to hear a harmonica incorporated into a track for a change (lately); so I'll give it that but like I said, for me it's just Blah (nothing original or new here to me). Don't know what it is, just something about it that doesn't catch my ear (could be the delivery of the vocals, not really sure). Good thing is that there WILL be other listeners that love this song, so what I think won't really matter much in the long run :)

Yeah, and the production seems to be toned down from the more 'rocky' aspects of the originally released single.

It'll be a shame if "Used Up" doesn't get a national release. I like CGAFAGT enough but, as I'v said before, "Used Up" is a damn masterpiece.

Arista has pushed the add date of "Can't Get Away From A Good Time" to March 9th. The original day was January 19th but as you can see, there are a massive amount of singles going for adds that week.
This push back was quite long though which makes me wonder if Arista is prepared for Logan to perhaps position himself to be an "On The Verge Artist". We'll get one before then (A Thousand Horses, Mickey Guyton, or someone else) but I think Arista has this planned out since March 9th is quite a ways off here.
Again, that's just speculation on my part.

I really hate everything about this song: the abrupt opening, his voice, and especially the lyrics. So I hope it doesn't get the OTV treatment.

Logan Mize dropped by the Music Row Studios where he performed some tracks he's recorded thus far. Among the songs he performed, he mentioned how the title cut of his major label debut album will possibly be "Welcome To Prairieville". Music Row

I like this too. Nothing too earth shattering or ground breaking, but it's fun and the lyrics are different, if similar in theme to some other songs. I like the direction radio seems to be headed in.

Poor Logan. This song's at 625k in audience and still not in the top 60. The bottom of the Billboard chart has extremely high audience numbers (as compared to normal). Blake squeaked in at #60 with 662k, and #59 Montgomery Gentry is close to 1 million. A few weeks back, a 1 million audience total would have put a song in the 50-52 range.
Rodney Atkins and The Swon Brothers went recurrent, but there are a lot of old songs in the top 30. I think Jake Owen will finally go recurrent on Monday, and Jason and Brett will fall off as well, so hopefully Logan will finally be able to make his top 60 debut. RaeLynn, Striking Matches, Thompson Square, Brothers Osborne, Chase Bryant, and Casey James are other possibilities.

Man, could Arista have picked a world's worst time to release this single?
"Can't Get Away From A Good Time" has failed to crack the top 55 on MB and didn't crack the top 60 on Billboard tonight, despite a 710k audience total. Right now it seems like this song, which I had high hopes for back in January before it's original add date was moved, will tank, or at best have a super long climb just to achieve respectability. There's just way too much competition out there right now and Logan is getting buried on the depth chart of PD's playlists.

This hasn't even charted yet? When's the last Sony single that took this long (6 weeks since add date now?) to chart? I personally despise this song so I'm not sad at all, but I can't believe this is bombing so badly.
