They absolutely killed with this on Seth Meyers. And the song is excellent - a really nice cross between Lorde and CHVRCHES.

So upset this song flopped - only 1 monitored add for impact. It's so great.
On the other hand, it's also a ringing endorsement for Lorde. I believe this is written and produced by Lorde's collaborator Joel Little. It sounds A LOT like one of her tracks, and the singer Georgia is basically a more "conventional" version of Lorde (prettier, smoother voice, better dancer, albeit not as memorable).
That this couldn't do well in an era of Lorde suggests there's something about her as a character that is selling. It's not just the music.

Could pick up 5 adds next week, you never know.

I must be in the lucky group of people , cuz I like this as much as Pretty Reckless or Velver Revolver. Right now the Alt Rock charts have the most versatile style of music and that makes it the most interesting music chart around. This is better than "Bridges" and I would hope it becomes thier first top 20 on Alt charts.

This is nearly as boring as "Bridges". I hope this sputters out in the Top 50 at best.

Wow, I'm surprised they topped the sorely underrated "Bridges" reminds me of a more upbeat Phantogram. I hear this all the time on my station recently so I think this will pick up, the chart needs more of this type of music in the top ten.

CHVRCHES is this style done right, but to each his own.

Now Phantogram, Lorde, Broods, and more like this are struggling to get top ten on singles other than their big hits(not that "Bridges" was that big to begin with but it was arguably inferior to any of the singles from the aforementioned artists)

I do think that this would do well on Hot AC, especially with Echosmith rising. As for Phantogram, they're some of the most boring triphop I've heard, Lorde I love but would much rather have her as a Pop staple. "Recover" was robbed badly - it didn't even get a week at Billboard.

"Fall in Love" is in my top 5 favorite alt radio hits of recent memory, and there are a lot of tracks from the Voices LP worth checking out too. I just love how they incorporate samples into their music.
(Also realized that they're the same band responsible for a song called "Turning Into Stone" from a few years back, that's another great one)

Why not just have all three? Because Big Data and Kongos are actually good. Can't really say the same for Phantogram.

I think Phantogram is just too artsy for people. Not mainstream enough, people just don't understand the music cause it's not as pop-manufactured as the other stuff high on the Alt chart.

Perhaps they are too "artsy" for my liking, but I wouldn't say I listen to mostly "pop-manufactured" stuff seeing as how the majority of my favorite songs are now on Active.

The more I listen to it, the more I like it. It has a more Alt feel than "Bridges" did, but at the same time it's more catchy and the video more attractive than , say: an act like ,Tove Lo, which is currently on the pop charts. Crossing my fingers for them to nab thier first top 10. I wish on Alt, but if not, then Pop; which is slowly getting back on track again, as far as good music is concerned.

Anyone who doesn't like this doesn't like music likes music that's better than this. One of the best most boring releases this year. Fixed.
