Delivered to Pop and Rhythmic radio today through Play MPE - it also says it impacts next week, but that may be Rhythmic-only impacts both formats next week, according to R&R.

I don't see this doing anything on Pop. I would love to be proven wrong.

I'm actually quite unsure what to predict here. With a proper push out of the gate, this song is certainly catch enough to please pop radio. However, they don't seem all that concerned to support Usher or other Urban stars these days, so who knows?

I like this a lot. I think it has a better chance at CHR than "Good Kisser" This sound isn't that different from some of Justin Timberlake's current music or songs like "Blurred Lines".

Phew. Usher can be really hit and miss with me, but I'm digging this one. Wouldn't mind seeing this one be big.

I don't think this has enough of a hook to be a big hit at pop radio.

The production is very "Blurred Lines". You're completely correct on that. I'm not hearing a strong hook or anything too chorus-like, but stranger things have happened on CHR. You never know.

After cashing in on the dance trend, I see he's come to cash in on funky "Blurred Lines" trend. This doesn't do it for me.

I don't think this will be a big pop hit. Usher hasn't managed a big crossover hit since 2010, and pop radio is less likely to play artists like him now. He should have featured Iggy instead of Nicki, as Nicki doesn't have much pop power either. Her current single is produced by Dr. Luke (the biggest pop producer atm) and only scraped in the top 50, whilst Iggy has a DJ Mustard (the biggest hip hop producer atm) rip-off and it flew to #1. It couldn't be more obvious who's got more pop-power at the moment, so Nicki is not the best featured artist for this song imo.
It's a great song though! :) I just bet he wishes he could go back in time to 2012 and release Twisted as a single lol.

Let's not forget though that Pills N Potions hasn't been properly released to Pop radio, so you can't judge that song's performance just yet... and while Iggy does have more power, I feel that artists should work with who they want, not someone else just to get more radio play And Scream (2012) went top 10 on both pop radio and Billboard's overall radio songs, so don't say he hasn't had a big crossover hit since 2010 without showing proof!

It couldn't be more obvious who's got more pop-power at the moment, so Nicki is not the best featured artist for this song imo. Why should Usher cater to pop radio though? His focus is on urban radio this time around, as it should be. Despite "Fancy" going top 10 at urban radio, as of now Iggy's a one hit wonder there and viewed as a pop rapper. The last thing Usher needs is for urban radio to think he's placating pop audiences over them. Nicki's own bore of a Dr. Luke single may be flopping, but that's her bad for releasing a tuneless snoozefest to lead an album. It's not a statement on her popularity per se. The fact remains that pop listeners are familiar with Nicki. She's clearly the best balance between the two formats. After cashing in on the dance trend, I see he's come to cash in on funky "Blurred Lines" trend. This doesn't do it for me. Except he recorded a song like this with Pharrell before "Blurred Lines".. Yeah. Not only that but when "Blurred Lines" first came out it was brought up a few times as a "Twisted" knockoff itself. Usher was definitely the first-to-market with this sound; it just remained an album track. Also, I don't think it's fair to say Usher "cashed in" on the dance trend when 1) anyone and everyone did at the time and 2) he managed to take it in a few unique directions as well.

This reminds me of Blurred Lines, Off The Wall, and Miley's On My Own. It's cute, but anything that reminds me of Blurred Lines is not good in my book.

I'm really feeling this the more I hear it. I agree though that the hook is much too weak for pop. In a perfect world this would have had BL's massive success though.

This feels like an SNL parody of "Blurred Lines", and not a very good one. This is just so-so. I don't see this doing much of anything on Pop.
